it's even more beautiful if the rice fields are planted and all the greenery are at sight. truly breathtaking!! Postcard feels!! this is one of my bucket list to go there =)
I just saw this vid on my recommendation cause I love watching travel vlogs and I am so glad you guys are exploring the Northern part of the PH cause most of what I see is Cebu,Bohol, Siargao etc. all from Visayas and Mindanao and few are from these amazing places in Luzon. :) You may have been there in Southern parts of PH but I am really glad you are showing the other side too cause I am from Luzon and it is beautiful.
Sydney Dianne you have a great point of view I'm also from Luzon. We've been in Banawe 40 years ago. Great video and they should show more beautiful places in Luzon!
I visited Batad twice in 2016. I’m in pretty good shape for someone almost 72 years old, but hiking to the waterfall at age 69 was quite a challenge, especially after getting back to the U.S., and finding out that I had cancer in both my lungs. After chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery on my lungs I’m in remission. I hope to go back again to the Philippines, but I think hiking down to the waterfall is a one time event. Great video.
Hello Noah, thank you again for another amazing video. We are vicariously on holidays in the Philippines with you and Mike. That waterfall was just wow! It was breathtaking. I could spend hours and hours in the water with such a beautiful view. Another big like for this fantastic video. Btw how’s the food in Batad? If there’s hardly any electricity how do you charge your electronics? I hope you carry your money and passports wherever you go as those places don’t seem to have a safe in the room. TMI about the stinky t-shirt but we kind of figured it out though lol 😂 Have fun. We can’t wait to see more videos. Much love from Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺
Food wasn't bad, rice was delicious.. go figure. Charging electronics was hard, very much so a day off the grid. Thanks so much for the supportive comment brotha'! Really appreciate it :)
I had been to many spectacular places like Niagara Falls, The Grand Canyons and I’ll say the feeling is Wow 😲 when you first see and get to this places Banaue Rice Terraces is one of them, no wonder its called the “ Eight Wonder of the World “.
I hope you will explore too the Sagada Caves. Enjoy your stay and I will keep on supporting you guys. I like the personal info you shared. 2 thumbs up.
Well done, so easy to follow your story. Excellent delivery, and transition to a dashboard scene is lit. Looking forward to seeing your "Sea of Clouds" story in Mt. Kitelpan.
Congratulations! You really did it! I too, swam.in those ice cold waters 3 years ago ( may be time to do it again! ) & almost fainted on the LONG, HARD CLIMB back...lol!
Been there once. True all you said! It's an amazing place. When in Sagada, check out the caves, Marlboro country/blue soil hills. If you're going around with a guide, look for Gareth Likigan. He's the best there :)
@Noahvde I am excited for you guys to visit Sagada. I would suggest that you choose to commute on a Jeepney travelling from Banaue to Sagada. And You'll experience more fun if you ride atop the jeepney so that you could see awesome view along the way 360 degrees 😃. I think travel time is around 3Hrs but with regards to jeepney top ride, you can also go inside for some time so that it won't hurt your butt that much. 😅 looking forward on your next Vlog! 😃
LOL Yes, I was honestly scared for the people riding on top through that road. Usually id be okay with it, but the road to Batad is pretty sketchy. Sagada would be cool
I think I'm going to share your content more than any other vloggers because you cover more the entire Philippines and that a double credit to you than other vloggers
Haha thanks Prime. Yes the volcano is erupting but mike and I are far far away from it. Hope everyone in the surrounding area is safe and following advisories though
I knew it you maybe heading to Sagada. You will experience the hanging coffin, the caving, the small lake whic you can sleep overnight there and the view of sea of clouds in the sunrise at Mt Kitelpan.
Wow! The terraces would have been more beautiful if there were rice planted, unfortunately the rice were harvested when got there. But, still beautiful. Thanks dude for visiting our place, and for the appreciation. I'm going to share this. Till the next vlog. ☺
So beautiful! 😍 U are so blessed, Noah! I can see ur havin a great time there. 😊 I wish i could do the same thing ur doing. But, i guess i am meant to live in a cubicle, working 10hrs M-F. 👻 I can't wait for my next vacation! 🙃 I think I'm going Philippines this year..ur vlogs makes me wanna go. Lol
ah maybe they suggested you stay the night coz that place is far, maybe more than 6 hours commute from Manila, so you’d normally arrive there at night, then have the next day the whole day of touring the place. Oh well, stay safe those steps are so narrow, and enjoy your tour.
Bro the rice terraces and the waterfall looks so pretty!! Bucket list! After my walk across America I’ll be doing my SE Asia trip! Keep up the work broha xD
It would be more beautiful if the houses are not in the middle of the terraces though. But nonetheless still stunning just like the last time we went there :))
Im thinking, if you travel to these remote places, developing country.... Get the guide! It wont just be what you see, it will be an insight to their lives... perhaps what it is like living in the place where you are exploring... I don't believe it will be expensive and you can always haggle. Haggling is normal in the Philippines and you are spreading the wealth a little bit. People wont beg for money but they are very willing to provide a service for exchange for a little cash.
Ifugao build those awesome layers they are the real Pinoy 🇵🇭💪 IFUGAO IFUGU=THE PEOPLE OF THE HILLS AETA= THE PEOPLE OF THE MOUNTAIN ⛰ BADJAO=THE PEOPLE OF THE SEA 🌊
Noahvde you're misinformed!! It's ancient technique of tattooing dated thousands years, what she uses is organic materials medicinal plants, lemon thorns & pine wood soot;) free of rusty metals. Caused of infections defends how an individual will take care the wound of their tattoos.
Don't be too stingy especially to the locals, a few dollars wont make you poor considering your dealing with very poor people. You should learn to give back too!
