They sounded, last time they sounded good while they had Raymond Watts with them. Now they don't sound much. Now they're just exclusive players of KMFDM music.
@@armstrem Skold is good... Sasha is okay. I loved anything En Esch sings. Got to open for him when he was doing Slick Idiot. Pretty distinct voice and an overall cool dude. He stood up front for our show which was dope.
@@10bighikes58 Yeah I think I prefer En Esch over all of them, too. Symbols has always been my favorite album for that reason. I wish I could have seen them live when he was in the band. Sounds like a cool guy, too. Must have felt awesome having him watch :)
@armstrem skold vs. kmfdm was fucking amazing. Just Sasha and Tim going back and forth. I felt like it was a bit of a throwback to Symbols, which was my favorite album.
Your contribution to humanity and society of which you will be known for eternity are these amazing lyrics… “I can't reject this empty hole I cannot count the bloody cost I can't believe this wretched soul Come penetrate all this loss Come on and kill this sense of life And be the one who is denied Now show me one more upturned knife And fill the emptiness inside Be mine, sister salvation Juke joint Jezebel is coming for my cremation Be mine, sister salvation Closer now, see the revelation” Your creation is your forever bed
Sadly, the original female vocalist on the backup/choir portion of Juke Joint Jezebel was Jennifer Ginsberg, who has a distinctly different voice than Lucia. During the 1990's on on the Nihil album, this song really soars.
Michael Thompson I think Lucia is doing fine here. Don't forget that in studio version the female part was polyphonic. A choir of Lucias would've sounded quite similar to the original, I reckon.
This was the only tour in which they came to Australia. Luckily WWIII is probably my favourite of the "new" albums, so I was happy to get a bunch of those tracks among the usual 90s winners. They had an incredible live sound and mix. I was surprised at how massive, but clean, the sound was. Everything was distinguishable through the layers. Such a good show and volume was spot on. Sex on the flag was maybe the highlight as they added in a cool electronic piano riff.
I saw Pig open for Kill Joke (or was it Ohgr?) a couple years ago in Denver. They played this song, but without a female vocalist doing the chorus. It just wasn't the same.
1:19, it's so awesome that a muslim girl wearing a... Shit, don't know that word in english, can go to a KMFDM concert :3 (oh well, not can but want to)
When KMFDM was in Finland in 2009 and I asked Lucia (she was on stage before encore songs) whatever happened to Raymond Watts? What's he doing now? and she told me that she thought he's dead! I knew it was a joke but some fans thought it was a real thing when I added it on my video description
@TheFourthSurvivor nope, En Esh and Raymond's "Duet" on the original '95 studio version. Listen to the original, you can clearly tell that En was doing the lower "I can't reject this...." to Raymond's "I can not count the bloody...". Raymond is struggling to keep up with having to sing both parts here doing it live. Was expecting to hear Sascha step in and help out... other than that, pretty decent live version!
@TheFourthSurvivor when i saw em 6 years ago it was just sash lucia jules and the other guy (sorry i dont know your name dude no offence)no raymond and sash sung all of it it was awsome it was the last concert i saw before i was messed up in a car accident and i cant go to concerts now because i have dvt in my right leg and cant stand that long anymore
Kid bands that jam in the garage are about expressing something. Professional bands are about making money. If they were only there to express themselves and nothing more then the ticket prices for concerts, the T Shirts, the albums, pretty much all merchandise would cost just enough to cover all expenses. Maybe Sascha is jealous and maybe not. I don't really care. Either way I still like the music with or without Watts although I do like the work he did.
You obviously are missing the point of what this is all about. No "REAL" musical artist can stay in the mainstream spotlight forever but as long as they can still tour and fill up a venue then they are still very much alive. Besides KMFDM tried to stay undeground they didn't like MTV and wouldn't make videos for the longest time when MTV's doors were still open to playing all kinds of music videos now those doors are practically shut for everyone and the net is the way to go now.
i saw em in 2004 f'n great i even met em it was a small club called the moose and goose in canada there was about 250 ppl so it was real intimate i was told it was 10,000 usd to book them i want to do it when i get my settlement in feburary from a car accident i m getting like 500,000.00 or so i want to book them for halloween 2011 or 2012 i wanted nin but there 100,000usd a night id like to book them and pwei but i have to check on the price it will be in canada at a small club
@NPFCT Nope, not necessarily, it all depends on culture and stuff. I'm also pretty sure (however not certain) that it's more of a cultural thing than an actually islamic thing.
The Woman in the Burka having an absolute blast at the KMFDM Concert is so rewarding! You go!
She’s beautiful too
Hijab 🧕*
@@hududiyya yes. That’s a hijab not a burka. But true, it is awesome seeing her have fun!
This is so cool for the girl ❤
Stay out west
KMFDM is such great workout music. I've just got to restrain myself from singing aloud.
F’t it! Sing loud and sing proud!
FLAWLESS VICTORY! 🎸🔥🔥🔥
😂😂😂😂
they sound really good live
They sounded, last time they sounded good while they had Raymond Watts with them. Now they don't sound much. Now they're just exclusive players of KMFDM music.
LOUDEST show I've been to. Iron Maiden turned it up to 11 but this was louder.
probably the greatest guitar riff i’ve ever heard. epic asf!
Gunter wrote some amazing riffs.
Watts with KMFDM is best KMFDM.
Raymond Watts....the best vocalist and live singer they ever had!
Hard Disagree
I like tim skold and sasha too :D

this performance kicks so much ass! love this song \m/
Intense musical fun. Remember this club hit in early 20s....good music is timeless.

Lucia does great!
My favrotie KMFDM song EVER!
Me and my friend Brandon we a big fan of kmfdm
Definitely part of my 90s soundtrack
I truly am seeing the revelation sister salvation!
Моя любимая песня этого коллектива👍🎸🎶
epic! I got their NIHIL album when I was a little boy total randomly and it made me love this kind of music

WWIII is my flat out fave album of theirs
16 years later ....fuckin' great.
In 2016 Sascha said he hates this song and that's why it has not been played live since 2003.
Got my glasses smashed in the pit to this song in Seattle XD
Лучший ливник)))))))))) Я их слушаю с 1994 года, КРАСАВЦЫ и технари отменные))))
I saw them at HOB Chicago, was really amazed how great these guys sound live. Unbelievable.
Hope to catch em again.
That's Lord of Lard, the mighty swine; He loves manchego and a bottle of wine.
Wow, they actually got Raymond Watts out for that one! Cool!
"Hello baby, did u miss me??"
Give me a break.
This is one of my absolute favorite songs, awesome!
Flawless victory! ❤
Killer beat!!!
yeah man........respect
So good...amazing song, love love love it!
Great quality! Thanks for posting! Truly an amazing original song!!!!!!!!!!
1980 lad from Chicago area has entered the chat...
That kicked ass!
Wish the girl sang the whole song
Sascha really likes that Travis Bickle look.
Wow, just wow. The best. Will explore later
I saw Pig open for Kill Joke (or was it Ohgr?) a couple years ago in Denver. They played this song, but without a female vocalist doing the chorus. It just wasn't the same.
" See the Revelation "
1:19, it's so awesome that a muslim girl wearing a... Shit, don't know that word in english, can go to a KMFDM concert :3 (oh well, not can but want to)
I wish they had live PIG videos on RUclips!!
thanks for the upload man wow thank you
It is saddening that after brutally firing this pure man all the stickers got either removed or replaced with KMFDM...
Also: In 2003 the idea of accessing video of 1993 Raymond Watts was thus easily felt…dirty.
When KMFDM was in Finland in 2009 and I asked Lucia (she was on stage before encore songs) whatever happened to Raymond Watts? What's he doing now? and she told me that she thought he's dead! I knew it was a joke but some fans thought it was a real thing when I added it on my video description
such a rockin live performance! I wish I could find a live performance of this song around the time they released the album
Here you go: ruclips.net/video/FViMPL-VYOo/видео.html
@derklempner thank you!!! 😊 just listened to it now 🤘
That is almost the dream team line up just needed some En Esch
Kano : Give it up, baby. I've studied all your moves.
Sonya Blade : Yeah? STUDY THIS!
Exactly, thanks.
Why does everybody hate it when Raymond performs live? This sounds a lot like the album version.
The first time I ever heard of this band was from a sticker on the side of my tweaker neighbor’s trailer. They were almost never home. Strange.
Your video technique is fucking incredible. I just wanted to tell you that.
More power, give me power
Google owes this band 20 years worth of clicks…
dude ive seen stuff youve posted i cant get anywhere tip o the hat to you i play industrial and your my new source
Love!
Thank you - Awesome^^^^^
Good night Chicago would be first clue this was in dc
Huuuuh,it Is like an avalanche!!!
@vegastr0n Agreed. I love Raymond's work on Symbols.
And Sascha shouldn't even think about letting Skold go again.
@horseboyken I think a Burkah is when it covers the face
En Esch did do vox during the chorus on the orignial, but the verse is all Raymond.
@TheFourthSurvivor nope, En Esh and Raymond's "Duet" on the original '95 studio version. Hands down Raymond Watts.
@eisenkreuzmusik
Yeah, I kinda figured that one out, took me a full year though^^
The lord of swine -- Raymond Watts!
Is Sascha's mic plugged in? Can't hear his voice at all
This is so fucking weird, I love it.
All Hail! :-)
Ah enjoying a concert in the before times when you only had to worry about catching a cold, the flu or maybe an STD.....
Bad Boys brought me here
@TheFourthSurvivor If it was in fact always Raymond singing then he's singing it QUITE differently than what I'm used to hearing.
they never play this song live
What, this is a deepfake? Sure looks and sounds like them...
3:16 Trent Reznor from 90's
@lpasepok I think they call it a Burkah in english
Fuck awesome,thx to post it!!!
Mortal Kombat!
Possible stupid question, but who is the lead vocalist in this performance? The guy in the fedora / whatever hat that is...
I thought Esch refused to rejoin in 1999 when they broke up....
When did they get a gothic Peewee Herman to be the singer?
@TheFourthSurvivor when i saw em 6 years ago it was just sash lucia jules and the other guy (sorry i dont know your name dude no offence)no raymond and sash sung all of it it was awsome it was the last concert i saw before i was messed up in a car accident and i cant go to concerts now because i have dvt in my right leg and cant stand that long anymore
@platdrac He left the band after the '99 break-up.
Is this the guy Manson ripped off?

Nope, I see how you can make the mistake, Ray end Esch both have that sort of growl, but Raymond's range is a lot different.
Fucking Great!!!!
49825 Reva Mountains
as they get older, they get creepier...like an aged cheese
I miss En Esch...
Sonya Blade its Themess
is the singer tim skold?
No - Raymond Watts (of PIG) is lead on this song

@TheJphoenix69 I know, I didn't mean that. Just that they look alike
Raymond Watts?
@spookypig trent used to listen to them so its the other way round dude
