I’d even cancel my Fisker Ocean order even though it’s just a couple months away from delivery. That’s how serious it is with BYD
People say "it looks like this", "it looks like that", etc. The point it, every car you compare it to and say some element of it looks like it comes from that car, overall this looks better. It's incredibly well designed and tasteful.
Simply superb exterior styling and those turbine wheels. Just wow. Those interior "gimmicks" will really make your friends jealous though.. especially with the sunroof which I think is honestly useful.

I gather that the range extender version of the Voyah Free is where the model really shines, having likely been originally designed in that configuration. Also the Voyah Dreamer MPV is already hitting the road - saw one the other day myself in a parking lot and the fare collector dude was gasping at the luxurious aura it oozes. The Maserati-esque front grille is really at home there. That, with the Zeekr 009 MPV (where's the review of the much anticipated 001 btw, I'm sure you're not gonna miss that one?) - Chinese car reviewers are running into a busy schedule ahead!
I do not agree, that the retractable screen is a gimmick. I would love and appreciate a "minimal screen mode" when I need to focus more on the road and to get less distracted. I think this should be copied and the screen hidden even more in the "minimal mode".
Yeah, I was skeptical at first but then most of the driving we do we do not really huge bright screens staring at us. It is nice to have big screens when you need the entertainment or nav for long trips or while resting at a charge, but having the option to dial it down is interesting.

This car actually made my head turn a couple times here in Ningbo. Especially at night, the rear resembles a Porsche. I like the car but I thought it would be cheaper. I drive a NIO ES6 myself and don't see this as in the same class. But maybe that's just wishful thinking. I'd definitely love to test drive this thing.

hello and welcome. the hybrid plugin and this got a stunning 693 hp (510 kw) of power. What is like the 0-60 mph? 4.7 seconds seems way too slow for a vehicle so powerful. The rivian R1S for comparision, got 835 hp and weigh a lot more, but can do a 0-60 mph in 3 flat (and aerodynamic is also worse)
There is literally zero difference to the average buyer whether it's 3 or 4.7, both are more than fast enough, how a car drives is way more important than just acceleration.
i tried this and the nio es6, every Chinese auto reviewer suggested Voyah Free over Nio Es6, I disagreed... The Free only beeps whereas the ES6 vibrates the steering like Lexus. I personally like Nio's dash screen better, for some reason the angle seemed awkward on the Free and Nio also have HUD. Nio also have the "Queen" from pax seat and the battery swap. However, the air suspension on ES6 is a real concern, I made an U-turn, it wobbles like a boat 🤣 Anyways, I like Nio ES6 over Voyah Free, but at this point, I m actually interested in checking out Audi Q4 Etron as it is even cheaper than both and it is an Audi... also I personally do not need a 4 second 100km EV 🤣
I have an audi q4 e tron. And to be honest i am disappointed. Firstly you have to pay extra for a lot of things. Starting price is around 50k usd but if you wanna full spec it, then you will easily end up on 70k+. Every small thing costs extra yet it doesn't feel like a premium car. I tried Voyah Free here in Oslo and liked it much better than my Q4. Also the app for Q4 is not finished as well as infotainment update. They have been promising for 2 years and still thaven't been able to deliver. Very disappointed to be honest. I expected more from Audi...
@@Zrqdon oh, i was only looking at the Q4 etron 40, the 50 isnt worth it as I mentioned i dont need a super fast suv and we dont get snow here in GuangZhou China here, so I also dont need AWD lol (47k usd for 40) and yes, I think all the traditional automakers have similar problem with their old infotainment systems that they never update, I m more interested in how it drives... I mean I dont hate the Free but it just not as good as I was told... I still lean towards Nio ES6 between the 2 especially when I have someone who constantly have motion sickness, the "queen passenger seat" will help alot 🤣🤣🤣 and rear seats dont mean anything to me, i got no one to carry around with as well, anyways, i m still interested in trying it out, until then i wouldnt know and i guess everyone have diff preferences. I will say that Q4 has a really good range, but would not say it is a premium car! The WLTP for my Q4 is 474 km, but it drives above 500 km now in summer (around 400 km in winter). The only thing I am suspicious of on Voyah Free is if the range of really is 550 km or not... I have heard chinese EV don´t have accurate range, specially here in Norway where roads and climates are way different than China. Here in Oslo, the Voyah Free car dealer said they put 500 km WLTP for Voyah free just to be on the safe side, however, in China they claim it is 535-550 km WLTP... and over 600 km if you drive it in cities. I guess I will find out. I have ordered one Voyah Free since it is free to cancel it, even 14 days after i get it. If I am not happy with the range by then, I might give it back. But good luck finding a car you like! It is not easy.

Most people wont use the "eco" mode with the strongest braking regen, so i assumed Voyah Free might able to hit 500km if you use drive it normally and not flooring pedal at every stop light lol i say this because i read user reviews, it seemed whenever they have any EVs here, they tend to say... "i m the fastest car when the light turns green", that kinda tell u that person's range will be shorter than a normal driver lol 🤣🤣 oh and i also askes the salesperson about the Auto Emergency Brake... funny enough he said it will bleep the driver and he doesnt even know if it stops the car for you ... for Nio, the salesperson said if u put any input on the brake pedal, it will not engage brakes for you whether you did applied enough brake power to stop the car or not 🤣🤣🤣 so, be aware that their AEB isnt very smart yet 🤣 Thanks for your advance again for Q4, because each of them have pros and cons, I want to take my time to.think about it first 😂 good luck with the Voyah Free my frd 👍👏

Renault left China market because it's not profitable for DFM, they close the Renault factory and establish this brand Voyah, which also produced in the same factory. I guess the desinger and engineer team at least part from the old renault's team. Source: I once worked in dongfeng Motor, and I happen to know Renault's manager in person.
this is a good example of why you can't trust a company making its first ever luxury car after years of making bland and/or sub-par cars. the bad software and silly gimmicks would annoy me endlessly. only the opacity-adjustable moonroof is a damn good feature that i'd like to have.

They have some superb EV's in China. In the UK we're left with hugely expensive premium brand EV's or still expensive "cheap" EV'S.
That house in the bqckground (& the bridge), on the last part, reminds me of the old Iloilo City, Philippines.

this is a good example of why you can't trust a company making its first ever luxury car after years of making bland and/or sub-par cars. the bad software and silly gimmicks would annoy me endlessly. only the opacity-adjustable moonroof is a damn good feature that i'd like to have.
