- In this video, we will install Free WooCommerce shipment tracking plugin. I will show you how to setup order tracking for free in WooCommerce. The name of the plugin is YITH woocommerce order & shipment tracking plugin. I have free as well as premium version of the this plugin. I will show you the difference between free and pro version. Using this plugin, you can add shipment tracking on customers Order page. It will also send the email along with the order shipment details.
There are some limitations in Free version. If you want additional features then you can buy the pro version.

Hey there, I activated the plugin and set up a default carrier but when I do a test order and go to my orders the Order Tracking tab does not appear. Any advice on how to get this up? Don't see it on screen options either
if you have any cache plugin then disable it or clear the browser cache. try in another browser. see if that works.

Just like when your wordpress dont work when editing

You are adding tracking data manually to order like tracking number and carrier.
Is there any plugin or method that will add these data automatically? Like when customer places order it should get tracking data automatically from the shipping user selected and put that in order meta?

when customer places the order, how the website will know which shipping carries and tracking number will be used. You need to add the tracking details manually.

woocommerce will create account for customers automatically when they make a purchase. Customers can login to account and see the order details. do not need separate plugin for that.

customers can see the shipment tracking details by logging in to their account on your website. They will find it on orders page.
Thanks for your reply, yes i understand that but what i want is for an automated email to be sent to the client with the tracking details once i make the item as shipped. in your description it states that " it will also send the email along with shipment detail" so can you explain how you get this to work please. many thanks Ben

I found the tracking info can't be save in the order , due to free verision ?
