Yes video is a life saver thanks so much. I'm gonna add some content to a video to share the link here if you don't mind discussing some key items during a 2021 F150 XL install. I removed the plastic/rubber combo brace behind the air dam altogether rather than cutting it by removing a few screws holding it up on each side. Mine was already cracked in the middle anyhow. Just seems like an overkill piece since this receiver is here now. The air dam on a 2021 does not seem to hang as low as this 2018 but maybe it's because mine is just an XL too. My air dam is very flexible rubber material so I didn't cut that either. I had the truck on ramps and the receiver on a floor jack clamped on with a vice grip in the center trying to do all by myself. Was helpful to get someone to operate the jack for me while I lie on a creeper going back and forth side to side. I lined up the front bolts first to use as a pivot (one side lined up with the front front hole and other side lined up with the back front hole ha) which was super easy other than the fact the hole usage was not symmetrical and that just had me mind bottled for a good moment. Most trouble I had is for the bolts closest to the engine (back bolts) getting the square washers between the frame and receiver to stay in place, tape to not get in the way, and holes to line up to pull the bolts through. So I had someone wiggle the receiver while I tapped the square washer in place with a screwdriver. It was suggested I use a cone shaped punch to line the holes up as well. Also a kink in the feed line as instructed in the video is crucial if you don't want to ruin the threads of the feed line while you line up the holes. Be sure to follow feed line demo to a T. Putting the washer on the line and dropping it in the access hole before pulling the bolt through seems scary but let it rip, it'll work out. Those washers are there so the bolts don't spin as you tighten if you get worried they have to be a certain direction...they don't. They will stop spinning when they hit inside the frame like they are designed to.
Ok, first, great product. Installed and now working. I did have some problems though. Not because of the product but because of my mods on my Ford F150, that are usually common to most truck owners. I’ll share them here. If I had a standard Ford F150 with no modifications this most likely would’ve worked flawlessly. However, I had slightly larger tires put on, approximately 1 1/2 inches higher, and added a leveler kit in the front, another inch and a half. My vehicle is now level and my tires look beautiful. The receiver hitch however rubbed on full turn left or right. I was forced to cut about 2 1/2 inches off of the lip that juts outward towards the tire by about 1 inch. Just below the rear mounting bolt, that section rubs on the corner of the tire. I simply took a grinder with a cut off wheel and cut a groove (scored) into the corner where the lip bends towards the tire and a slit to create a tab and then I hammered it down and it popped right off. It does not appear to affect the structural integrity of the hitch as it’s securely mounted with large bolts and I will not be using it for anything heavy other than parking an RV occasionally with about 700 pound tongue weight. I’m sure this voids the warranty. 😉 I may create a video of this and post link here. We’re good to go though!!!
We don't have any at this time, but the install for the 2021 is the same as what's shown in the video for the 2018 model. Draw-Tite has confirmed that for me, so you'll be good to go. You can check out the hitch as well as the install instructions by hitting the provided link below: www.etrailer.com/instructions.aspx?pn=65067 www.etrailer.com/Front-Receiver-Hitch/Draw~Tite/65067.html
We haven't had the opportunity to install the Draw-Tite # 65067 on a 2022 Ford F-150. We'll try to make that happen! www.etrailer.com/Front-Receiver-Hitch/Draw-Tite/65067.html
I purchase a Curt hitch for my 2019 Ford F150. What I found with the Curt hitch is the bolts will only pass through one hole and the washers will only pass through another. Meaning I had to fish the washer through one hole and then get the wire up through the other to fish the bolt through, a huge pain. I lost two of the rectangle washers in the frame trying to accomplish the feed- through. So I had to use the remaining two square washers. That being said the square washers wouldn't pass through any of the holes so I had to grind the square washers down in order to pass through hole. This installation would have been a breeze if not for the wrong Hardware. I actually installed this by myself with a floor jack. I'm not too worried about the washer mishap because I'm on using the hitch for a bike rake.
Many have. Keep in mind that the success of doing that will depend on the angle of the ramp, the weight of the boat and whether the vehicle is RWD or 4WD. Light boat, 4WD on a gradually sloped ramp should be no problem. Steep ramp, heavy boat with a RWD truck could be a problem. www.etrailer.com/Front-Receiver-Hitch/Draw-Tite/65067.html
All the front mount receivers we offer will sit pretty much flush with the underside of the bumper fascia. Where the receiver sits is dictated by the location of the front frame/crossmember, so the manufacturers are limited by that. Wish we offered something that sat higher... www.etrailer.com/Front-Receiver-Hitch/Draw-Tite/65067.html
Much better video than Curts. Thank guys! Finally installing hitch after ordering 2 years ago.
Aww shucks, thank you! We're glad it was helpful!

Thanks for the video. I ordered my hitch online and the installation paper was not very helpful. Couldn’t have done it without this video.
We love to hear this! Thank you for the feedback!

Where does it go? That's right, into the square hole
Do boaters ever use this to launch a boat 🚤 Cool demo

Way too low. It ruins what little approach angle this truck has. It should come through the center of the bumper.
