Excellent video. Just one question, can a PoE switch work (i.e. powering a CCTV camera) when the internet is down?

The PoE switch supplies power to the cameras through the Ethernet cable, which depends only on the power supplied to the PoE switch itself. If the cameras and the NVR are on the same local network, the camera's feed can still be accessed, recorded, or displayed without the internet.
What Won’t Work Without the Internet:
      1. Remote Access: Viewing the camera's feed from outside the local network via an app or web interface typically requires an active internet connection.
      2. Cloud Services: If the camera is set up to store footage in the cloud, it won’t upload videos during the internet outage.
      3. Firmware Updates: Updates and certain smart features may not function without the internet.

So in your first scenario, there's 3 cameras and IP phone which is 4 POE devices. I want to ask, are all devices are connected individually through the router with an injector each? 4 injectors and 4 router ports used? Am i correct? I'm new in IP camera set up.

yes, if you're using a PoE injector, it can only connect one PoE device at a time; and each injector needs to be connected to the router separately. If you're new to IP camera setup, please watch this playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLq-T5T_vQ1i5Fn4CPm-MBwVLp4s6KztO8
