- Momma Moose grows a bit impatient with her baby moose crossing the road. You could tell she was ready to start counting down, and when she gets to 1, that's when things get serious.
Drivers with enough intelligence and patience to allow for baby to learn. Thanks to them!
@user-zx7ws7np4oLOL…..I love the wildlife videos on RUclips.
Exactly
Anyone intelligent doesn't try to cross a moose. She is gonna wreck your car if she thinks baby is in danger.
@@theinacircleoftheancientpu492 And so she should.
Baby started off knowing crossing the road was a bad idea…..that was the smart approach
Thanks for waiting, showing respect for animals life
Yeah, smart little one, not trusting the humans.
Lol, that's not OP. just some video he probably stole.
You'd be wise to wait for such a large animal to cross the road. If you drive into something like that it's going straight into the windshield and could kill you, very dangerous at night as this is when most fatal accidents happen.
I think not driving straight into a moose is more respect for your own life not theirs.
You can bet everyone in the cars that could see the baby were smiling from ear to ear with the cute walk! 😂 🫎
I was smiling at home too😂😂❤
That's hysterical. Poor baby. Thanks for being patient.
He walks like a newborn! So sweet and what a treat for the motorists. 💕
he was definitely a newborn
It looked like it was so young, it had never walked on pavement
Maybe less that a week old ? 🎶
Indeed, its likely has never seen asphalt and was walking like it was going thru mud or thought it was a stream of an unseeable depth. It was cautious to a point of being scared.
Yeah…poor baby! Just a newborn!
My guess is that the moose calf has not built up leg muscles so a steep incline is a problem to overcome.
@@ReadyFreddie5523It climbed up just fine in the beginning.
This is SO great on so many levels -- the way the mother kept checking the cars ... the way she entered the edge of the woods and then came back to encourage her young 'un ... and the way that little moosie high-stepped across the what-the-heck-is-this-stuff pavement. (If you've ever put protective boots on your dog, you'll see this same walk the first time he/she wears them). I've lost a lot of faith in our species' ability to either feel or demonstrate compassion, so seeing drivers waiting for this little passage to play out was, to say the least, heart-warming. Thanks for posting.
I agree completely with everything you said.
I have rescued so many different animals/pets because of an increasing lack of care and respect that animals deserve.
Given long enough you can form strong bonds with ANY animal and to me to interact and engage with another species is such a honour.
It's also why i became a vegetarian after seeing how animals are treated particularly in the middle east. I understand it happens everywhere but i was exposed to some shocking displays whilst serving in Iraq
Nice to know others are as compassionate
I was also glad to see the drivers being patient. I was driving through Vermont a few years ago and saw a bear cub that wasn’t as lucky as this Moose calf. 😢 This sweet calf has a great Momma to watch over him. 🫶
I know it was like she could see the cars waiting and the way she motioned to come this way.
Canada
@@virginiaoflaherty2983 Based on the road sign, my guess is Sweden.
You don’t realize how big a moose can be till you see one in person. I was traveling on so called “ Moose Alley “ from Skowhegan.Maine to Jackman ,Maine and had the pleasure of see a group of 4 moose cross the road in front of me. They hesitated on the road for a moment, looked both ways and then wondered on. Two of them had to stand at least 11 feet at the top of there backs. Drive slow up in them there woods Please
We have a cabin by a big pond in NH which has a fenced in area for the kids swings right by the driveway. We were having a family gathering years ago in must have been August and a HUGE female strolled right up the driveway and right past the fence. Awe inspiring doesn’t begin to describe that majestic creature. 🫎
11 feet? yea right, you must've been on the pipe _ there is NO documented case of a moose beyond 7 foot at the shoulder height, give or take.
@@sarahwentforalemonwedgeand8991 Hey I didn’t have a tape measure and looking upwards up a road and nothing in the distance to gauge against. Damn Sure it was 11’ to the top of their heads !!!
Visiting Farebanks AK, we were told about a story. Of a moose falling off of the Visitors center's grass roof onto a car. Imagine explaining that to your insurance company
Great comment!❤
What a lovely Mom. Thanks everyone for me so patient.
How precious, Mom and Baby. The way Baby was walking reminded me of dogs when they wear booties for the first time. Too cute. 🤗 ❤️
Yes, my dog and his first pair of boots!!
@@joyceibanez8207 I just came back to read the comments and saw yours. Sorry, wasn't copying you! (Dog boot thing is dead on the money, though, isn't it? Haha!)
@@quackslikeaduck
Great minds think alike, so I've been told. ☺️❤️
@@joyceibanez8207 🧠=🧠=💡 Or something like that. Have a great day, sister!
Why would dogs wear boots?
She didn't leave her baby. Thank you all for stopping & waiting
Really cute !! Fortunately people are patient for once!!
That was what I was thinking. I'm glad that they were patient. No horn honking.
Swedes know those animals.
@0:59 Thank you for backing up your car, to give them more space and less anxiety, that you would provide them comfort for extra time to work it out! Great video 🏆🏆.
Bless your heart ♥
That made everybody's day.
Given how dangerous roads are, it’s probably a good thing the baby was apprehensive.
So amazing. The calf really didn't like this new thing: the look, the smell, how weird it felt under their hooves. Kudos to the motorists for being patient.
I encountered a Mama bear with 3 cubs in the road once. Two of them followed her like Velcro. The third stopped to play in the road. She was just like this Mama Moose, until she totally lost it, went over to her cub and slapped it silly. Poor baby tumbled to the side of the road and moved along with the family. Mamas don’t play around!
He walked on it as if it was hot lava!🤣
Can never forget a massive moose just standing in the middle of the road as I was approaching on a bike at a distance. I wondered why it was just standing there and not crossing completely. I then saw a baby moose coming out of the bushes. What a smart momma! It knew the road was dangerous and just stood there just daring anyone to pass!
Not “it,” she.
@@thenewdawn9963 Too funny. A friend had a baby and I had asked, What is it?” She replied, “It’s not an it, it’s a she!”
"STOP MOOSING AROUND" 😂😂
IN MY VIEW
The sweetest part of all was watching how the baby moose 'walked' on the asphalt street. Exactly like pets wearing shoes!
Probably never walked on asphalt b4 plus baby looked fairly new & gangly
Saw that with a turkey family. I don't wanna you can't make me. What made it even funnier. A lady decided to charge past all the stopped cars on the wrong side of the 2 lane road. She did pull off of the road when she saw what the problem was. When we could drive on, no one let her in. 😅
Lucky she was in the car or she would have got ran down 😭🤣 They creep me out more then deer and bears where I'm from lol I've seen way too many that like to chase people. I've been chased by one and seen a lot of other people too. They're little butholes lmao
It was most likely the first time the baby encountered a roadway. So, the smells, cars, and feeling of the blacktop were probably new and scary.
Very kind and understanding for driving backwards slowly ....
More importantly, the closer the baby got to the car the more the mom would have felt like the car was a threat. The driver was making sure the mom new that.
Nice video. Thanks
Gotta Love Moms ❤
Many years ago I was driving along the Trans Canada in Northwestern Ontario (aka middle of nowhere) at night when my headlights outlined the shape of a full grown moose standing on shoulder next to my lane. To this day I will never forget how intimidating and somewhat scary it was driving past that monstrosity standing by roadside. I was fortunate it didn't move onto the road.
omg his weird walking on the pavement, finally 😍
Huge kudos to the drivers and bystanders for not interfering or getting out of the car.
Female moose with calves are one of the most dangerous animals in the world. They attack anyone they view as a threat and just being in the vicinity of a calf with the mom nearby can cause an attack.
Respect them from a distance and let the moose care for themselves.
The best part was everyone waiting patiently for them. Thats rare and beautiful. Imagine a world where everybody cared about animals. ❤
When momma was about to cross, she stops and looks at the car filming like… ok u need to stop so we can cross. Animals r scary intelligent.
Awesome VIDEO and awesome people in cars being patient. 👍🏻🌷💕
Kitten mittens - perfect!!
That is the cutest 🤗 The way He walked on the concrete. 😙
That's hilarious - the way he walked over the road finally 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love the people patience. The baby is so young!
So much love …… always respect nature, and all her offspring ✊👊🏼❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Love the way all the carts wait for the little to cross.
Thank you decent awesome people for giving them all the time they needed to cross. The world needs more love and patience like yours!❤
Too cute!!! Thanks to the good humans who didn't rush the baby. Momma was having a melt down pacing trying to get her baby across the dangerous road.
Slow down and enjoy the world around you today 🇺🇸🙏🍀
It's crazy that, that little baby moose in the course of 3 years will grow to be taller than you and me even your car wont be safe
So happy everyone was patient, Mama was trying her best to get the little one going..
What a sweetheart! The way baby crossed the road and momma was extremely kind and patient 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
...he's just getting used to being "all legs..." cute little guy, and his wonderful, "dont even think about movin' that car," Mom-Moose❤+❤...
The cuteness, of his uncoordinated lil skinny legs walking. 🥰
Thanking all those patient drivers!! ❤
Baby doesn’t like the feel of his hooves on the pavement. Look how high he lifts his legs
Well! It was definitely worth the wait to see that little baby daintily step across the tarmac like that! Bet those drivers were smiling all the way home! ☺️
Yeah THANK YOU for caring and respecting animals 🙏God Bless.
What beautiful animals
I didn't realise just how big moose were
Drivers were patient, gives me hope for humanity !
Reminds me of the first time I took my toddler son up an escalator.
Impressive, watching Mom’s patience and determination.
Stop moosing around! Very cute!
Thank You for sharing that!!❤
Baby: I’m scared of those big machines
Mom: They stop for us, Sweetheart. We don’t stop for them.
My most memorable moments in British Columbia national parks were encounters with moose.
I was amazed at the size of these animals and the height at the shoulder of an adult was over
6 foot. The other amazing fact I was ignorant of was their ability to hold their breath under water.
I had no idea they could completely submerge for several minutes whilst eating plant tubers on
the bottom of lakes. I once hiked to moose lake at sunset and was greeted by a female who had
come down to feed in the lake, she trapped me on the wrong side of the lake side and blocked my
route out. I took cover behind a tree and waited until almost dark before she started to completely
submerge. I carefully timed her minutes under water and made the decision to risk my escape.
It was wonderful and I’ll never forget the amazing experience and encounter with that majestic animal.
Great people loving nature and getting a cute show❤
That was the best!!! So cute how the baby walked over the road like it was on hot coals!😂😂😂
That was cute. I love how the calf was stepping like someone put booties on him. And the mom basically telling him to stop holding up traffic...very considerate.
Thank you ................I needed this.
Beautiful animals, the humans here, and the moose!
This was fantastic. Thank you for sharing I’m smiling now.🇨🇦
Precious little Baby 🙏❤️
Mama's like " I'm so sorry this is so embarrassing. He's only a day old, c'mon Junior!!!" 😂
Cute baby! They are scared of asphalt. Watched an elk slip on the road once.
The way baby walked on the pavement was adorable 😂
Reminded me of the first time I took my dog to the beach......he had to be encouraged to walk on the sand ❤❤
That is one FRESH baby, it hasn’t even unfolded yet! Gotta be no more than a few days old. Thankful for considerate drivers like you giving them the space they needed to get across :)
Baby says, "But why, mom? Feels dangerous getting off the grass"!!!!
Momma Moose said " Your embarrassing me, wait till we get home"😂😂😂😂😂
Yay for the baby! She made it!❤
"I'm not walking on that." I could watch that walk across the asphslt for hours, hilarious. You could tell mama was beside herself with all those cars. Great when humans slow down to cooperate.
If only everyone had that much respect and patience not just for animals but with each other, too!!
That baby just popped out, barely can gather his scrawny little legs. So cute!
Thanks for the video and Sunny reference
I’m so happy the drivers were patient!👏🏻
OMG this was the best thing I’ve seen in forever!
Thanks for this-it made me laugh so much because you can EXACTLY READ what the Mama is thinking, experiencing, and trying to get across to her baby!!!!! Lololol😅
Awwww!! So sweet. 🥰😅
The baby’s movements on the tarmac…like it was going to be stuck in mud. How very special to get to record it.
"Stop moosing around!" 😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣
The way the baby high-stepped across the road was so cute! You could tell it was unsure about it.
These guys can ruin your car if you hit one! My husband always intalled “deer whistles” on his big rig just to be safe. God bless all his creatures! 😻😻😻🙏🙏🙏
this mom-child moment is so cute but what made this even cuter is how the author created matching script. creative :)
Thank goodness the drivers were patient and smart.
Oh my word how amazing is that thank you for the video
Love this and I love the patience of the drivers.
The baby walking like my dog does with his boots on.
Tasteful, creative music selection, makes your wit shine. I subscribe.
That sweet and funny walk made the wait deffinetly worth it.
This was so cute. I liked how the Mama Moose kept walking back and forth checking on her baby and how she began to walk up a bit and face the cars as if to say, “I dare you.”
Mom be looking all around like "I am so sorry," "this won't happen again, I promise," "come on kid!," "thank you all for your patience."
Those long baby moose legs look really hard to master!
Reminds me of one time a busy 3 lane highway came to a complete stop so a mama and her ducklings could cross.
Ok that was funny, and cool.
Oh my goodness! That was so much fun!😅😅
After getting his business put on blast...📣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Bentley looks soooo cute...❤😊❤
Cute as a button ❤
His steps on asphalt 😂😂
