- Who's smarter, a cat or a dog? This is an eternal argument. Being happy owners of dogs and cats, we constantly observe this confrontation between pets. Cats are more cunning and secretive, dogs, especially huskies, are very emotional and stubborn. But one way or another, each of our pets knows how to get food. We decided to repeat the glass test. We hid a treat under a large p and invited our dogs and cats to retrieve the food. Each of our pets used a different method. But now we know for sure that none of them would go hungry if something happened.

That is because of each person's nature, not because of their intelligence. Dogs have loyalty and show more love than cats and will save your life even at the cost of their own, cats flee from danger. But I love them both, each one with their own characteristics.
@@gullbris1810 There are many cats that will also save their owners from danger. We don't see it happen as often, but it does happen. There is this really cool one of a cat saving a child from a dog, full on body slamming it away. They can be very overprotective, which you mainly see when defending their kittens, but can be that way for humans as well.
I did love how the huskies politely observed their teammates from the sofa.

Definitely! Dogs are more food driven than cats. If he didn't feed his cats for a day, his cats would have been more driven to use their maniacal cat brains to defeat the test!

@@flutini1my cats are so food driven they’d knock that thing out of my hand and across the room to get the food fast. They were starving when I found them and never take food for granted.
My husband taught both my male cats to sit/stay/beg. My female cat absolutely wants nothing to do with such nonsense. 😂

They're all clever in their own way. I loved watching each of them, their method to getting the treats really showed their own unique personalities. ❤

It's interesting to note that the dogs rarely think of using their paws, whereas it's the first thing that the cats seem to think of. Also, Belka wins with the 'trick the human into doing it for me' look. Bat just wanted a game. XD
The dogs use their paws but they're not as dextrous with them
I think the dogs had a better and faster method, but I think it's fascinating how the cats use their paws almost like we use hands to just reach in and just grab the food. I've seen other cats doing this with their food sometimes and it always impressed me cause it seems more human than what the dogs are doing.

Charity322 please don’t make generalities in particular about Huskies. My two use their paws to keep a bone filled with peanut butter under their control. During treat time training every evening(not a long span of time) I hide the treats under and over end tables. Those paws come in handy. If placed on the table. They usually jump up to steady themselves and grasp the smaller bones right away to their mouth. . I’ll try this test, alone, though, since my 3 cats passed away.
I read a theory that said the use of paws in hunting is why there are big cats and not big dogs.
Cat knows it'll get a treat no matter what gets bored.
Bat was not warming up but trying to say 'see how cute I am, give me those food, don't tire me servant' 😸

Да. Они все делали осознанно. А собаки случайно переворачивали банки тяжестью лап.
Хотя кошкам банки круглые дали, неудобные.
Я читала, что эти древние породы собак не очень умные, но у них там какие-то другие большие достоинства есть. А по ролику, конечно, победили кошки, и это и правда хорошая тренировка мозга для животных
Собачки просто тупо тыкали ,пока само не упадет случайно, а кошки вели себя как люди в данной ситуации )))
Моя ворона умнее этих собак..... Всегда думал, что собаки умные. Умнее кошек в два раза (учёные) ну ну
Собаки силищей сметают легкую баночку, им надо было что-то потяжелее😅 Но в плане сообразительности котейки выигрывают, сразу лапой полезли доставать, прям как люди😂❤
У них лапки более функциональны- когтями цепляют, у собак просто так не работает🤷
@@Yuliya_Yu Да, у собак не так развиты лапы, они больше мордой и носом стараются опрокинуть/дотянуться, но мне как-то конкретно эти собаки туповатыми показались, особенно вторая, первая ещё ничего, а коты сразу видно умницы😁
Кошки лапой хватают добычу, а собаки челюстями, поэтому они лапами не умеют пользоваться так как кошки.
Для собак передние лапы просто ноги, а для кошек ещё и руки😂

This was a good video, each of the dogs had their own style and way of solving the problems, but the winner was Yuki, because nothing come between her and food. But the overall winner has to be Bat, for yet another laid back display, nothing bothers him and he always finds his own way of dealing with things, and even includes breaks for playtime.

It's not a good comparison if you use a cylindrical container for the cats and a rectangular one for the dogs. It's much easier to accidentally tip a rectangle while just shoving it around the floor.

I think you made it a little bit harder for the cats because their container had a lip on it that inhibited the treats from just falling out when it was on its side.
Also, your cats seem way too polite. They seem reluctant to knock things over.
The dogs just brute forced the problems and hoped their chaos would get them treats, and it worked!

I think if you put the cat sweets on a ledge, both of your cats immediatly would push the jar off the ledge to get to them. :)

We feed our dog with kongs, puzzle toys, and a slow feeder. She would dominate these tests. If she get annoyed that a kibble won't come out, she'll walk away until we come to clean the feeders and shake out any remaining kibbles.
