How strong do you think Future Gohan could have gotten if he just had the 3-years Androids training prep that present Gohan had (with Piccolo + SS Goku)?
@@Sugar_SpiceDB7ZS super sayian 2 was achieved because of the mastery of super sayian increase in power speed and strength because of the rage that gohan was in mastering super sayian was discovered by goku alone
@@Sugar_SpiceDB7ZSfuture gohan was the best character ever, a true hero, and the tragic story and fate makes him such a compelling story, future gohan had 3-4 years of happiness, then from raditz to androids it’s been hell, future gohan was the best
@@jpnagaming7716 His story is just tragic, poor man's whole childhood was taken away from him and all he had was pain and loss of loved ones. But he kept fighting to the end, a true hero.
Future Gohan trained and did so consistently, that's why he didn't unlock the next level of power. Had he slacked off the entire time , he would've unlocked Beast
Sad to say, but kid future Gohan was a victim of limited training. I don't mean just physical training but also in the art of how to think and strategize. When Piccolo initially trained him that was for him to learn the basics and learn to overcome his fear and to use ki. Planet Namek was more in the field fighting that taught him to do what he had to do to survive. But it didn’t necessarily teach him how to be a better fighter. The time gap between Goku‘s return to earth and the appearance of the androids, Gohan was taking it easy so he didn’t learn anything from Goku or any other martial arts mentors. So, besides what he learned from Piccolo in the beginning, he was forced to write a whole new book on the art of fighting and teaching as he went along.
Present timeline gohan had his father also training him and he was more relaxed. He taught gohan the basics of the ssj transformation and how to apply it the best. Of course namek didn't teach him how to survive. He got dominated in the entire fight he has been through namek. He couldn't necessarily train because frieza and vegeta were looking for the dragon balls. Piccolo taught him the basics but goku taught him moderation and martial arts
I can just imagine the androids flying around, seeing this weird massive bowl structure on top of this unbelievably long pillar, and not be able to resist the urge to see what happens if it got toppled over. I'd probably want to do the same thing in their shoes.
It's implied in OG Dragonball that the lookout is only visible to the current Kami, deity's, and those deemed worthy. The lookout doesn't appear for others. That's why Piccolo Jr. couldn't come after Goku while he was training with Kami, and Krillin had to ask Dende's permission to bring his family to the lookout in the Buu saga. The only "unworthy" people to come to the lookout were Garlic Jr and Buu. Garlic Jr. isn't canon, and Buu has God Ki from absorbing the kais so the lookout was visible for him...that's my head canon anyway.
@@michaelmcmaster6810God Ki wasn’t even a thing back in the Buu Saga. Buu’s a magical creature with tremendous sorcery so whatever magic is used to hide the lookout would have no effect on him.
Man, Future Gohan really had it rough, he didn't have that 3 year training. As well, at the time not having knowledge of the Room of Spirit and Time and overall lack of resources. If only he got to go back in time with Trunks.
I always think of how future Chi Chi functioned after hearing Gohan had gotten killed by the androids…she already lost Goku due to the virus but to lose her son(who she loved very much) it’s devastating that dragon ball’s original timeline was her losing them both and the world basically being lifeless
What’s crazy that if you stayed in the time chamber after Goku and Gohan last left together, by the time Goten and Trunks went in to train against Super Buu, time would’ve passed by over 2,500 years which would be like waiting since the Ancient Greece period.
@@Sugar_SpiceDB7ZS what progression his biggest power ups have either just been given to him with a few hours training and the story just going yeah hes stronger now or he literally just sat there.
@@Sugar_SpiceDB7ZS yeah no shit my point is every other version of Gohan gets massive power ups with minimal effort but this guy's watched everyone he cared about due and nothing and he's still ridiculously weak even 10 years later. No future Gohan is what Gohan would be without terrible plot convenient power ups
Future Gohan had so much going against him and is one of the most tragic characters in DBZ. He didn’t fully understand SSJ so he never learned how to maintain its stamina by staying in SSJ, he always assumed he’d never be as powerful as Goku so going beyond SSJ was never a question, he thought his hidden power brought out by rage was a hindrance so he constantly repressed his feelings. He never trained on his own before so he couldn’t PROPERLY train himself. If Goku could have spoken to Gohan just one time after he passed…
I like to think that the lack of resources also ment that gohan wouldn’t be eating enough to keep up with the exertion he was putting his body back the scene where they are eating it appears that they don’t have as much food as they would otherwise. His gains were stunted due to bad nutrition. Kinda like goku could be rendered almost useless by hunger in old DB . So that would have also stunted trunks by proxy
@@TheBillhsNot really, Goku originally HEAVILY lost to Yamcha due to not knowing fatigue hurts your strength, mind and ki. After eating, Goku wiped the floor with Yamcha, and since then he ate like crazy before any sort of training. Its not that suprising this logic could be used this way toom
@TheBillhs And? Just because you lack the literacy to look at a media past surface level and discuss it doesn't mean everyone else has to conform to your ignorance as well.
There's no evidence to say he was fighting the androids on a regular basis. From the manga there is only 2 known fights. The one where he dies and the one that took place over a year before that. Which was the last time the androids had seen Gohan. He spent that time training to a level he thought was above the androids power, only to find out that was only 50% of their power. Which implies Gohan was avoiding them until he thought he was strong enough to actually win.
@@EndoScorpionthankyou💯 it's funny how these guys can't understand that gohan didn't really train till he was an adult wouldn't make sense for him to fight them when he's just a kid
Bro acts like fighting the androids was a picnic or a walk in the park. Both the anime and manga I am sure stated that they were killers. So my natural guess is he fought them always thinking of his safety also putting everything on a scale. I can only imagine how hard that must be if this was real.
Honestly, and I'm not holding this to be true or anything, but I just have it as head canon that saiyans don't experience zenkais or any zenkai is very, very minuscule after achieving the Super Saiyan state. I think that makes the most sense. Because, even if Gohan was only getting a 30% zenkai like Vegeta did after fighting Goku, that would have added up after 13 years of fights. Gotta think of in addition to his own training, he was probably having a minimum of 2-3 fights a year with the androids and potentially more depending on how many senzu beans he had. Let's say Gohan started at 1,000,000 and got a 30% zenkai every fight and fought the androids 3 times per year. That gets Gohan to a little more than 27,783,000,000 base power. And that's not including any training increases. But, I guess it depends on how strong we think the androids are. Even if we put zenkai's at 10% that still gets Gohan to a 41,000,000 base power with no training increases. And that's if Gohan's base was 1,000,000 when he started fighting the androids. If it was the same as Goku when he fought Frieza then Gohan's base goes to 123,000,000. Just doesn't seem like any of the saiyan characters post-Frieza or SSJ for that matter really gain any sizeable increases if they still get zenkais. So if they do, I doubt it is more than a couple of percentages. Might as well not count them. Again, before everyone eviscerates me as being wrong, I'm not saying that I'm anywhere close to being right, just that Zenkais really have no presence after the Namek/Frieza saga so I just discount them.
True, but some of Roshi's philosophy might not apply to Gohan and the circumstances. With the androids around killing people, he probably won't even play well and rest well.
I mean you gotta think about it...Roshi is skilled in fighting but I feel like all his training couldn't fulfilled Gohan's power to where it needed to be. Reason why Goku was so stronger than a human was because he's a saiyan which he didn't know at the time growing up. Gohan would've need more than just the Kamehameha wave lmao!
@@91Definite You dumbing down roshi's training to just kamehameha wave is dumb. Gohan had no proper training and didn't even know how to train properly. Think about it. What serious training has he had over his life up to that point? He was just a kid thrown into the wilderness by Piccollo and had no technique at all apart from the small stuff he learnt by observation. Roshi could teach him technique, ways to train, and a lot of other moves. Kamehameha isn't all roshi knows. Future Gohan needs any training he could get. He was on the cusp of strength but knew nothing about how to train and had no real training.
Imagine how strong future gohan would've been if he had access to the time chamber and a training partner. The main timeline gohan went from not having the ability to transform at all to being on the brink of fully unlocking ssj 2, so who knows what could've happened. Another fun what-if I think about is about what would've happened if future Gohan had survived until the majin buu stuff started. Maybe he could've gotten the elder kai to unlock his potential as well, but that's going into pure speculation territory.
@@tehgehrmanwalf9765 True but Qaaman was talking about Future Gohan having some bs power up like the main timeline Gohan had with Gohan Beast, and that only came because he had his potential unlocked by the Elder Kai. So there was never going to be a way for Future Gohan to get a power up like that.
@@Sugar_SpiceDB7ZS you could debate it it’s still a potential awakening you don’t need to have the supreme Kai to give you powers to get forms like that this is apart of gohans hybrid DNA show casing the only way for him to transform the reason why gohan has a bs power up is because of the fact dude hasn’t barly hittin rest he was training over hard and he wasn’t resting like that it was a struggle gohan didn’t have the resources to get stronger faster as he did in the main cannon because people were destroyed and places were destroyed. Therefore weaker gohan
The Multi-form Technique doesn't sound as effective as it sounds. Because it splits your power per each clone you make, that essentially means you're making yourself weaker by training with yourself in a literal sense
Simple reason why Gohan in the future was weaker than his past counterpart is simply because his growth was stunted on earth. Earth just doesn't have any challenges for Gohan because there's no way for him to push himself at some point he would have gotten strong enough that there's literally not enough hours in the day left for him to get a work out on his own since he doesn't have anything like gravity Chambers are super heavy weights or time Chambers or anything like that. It's the same kind of ceiling you'll hit if you just try to use nothing but calisthenics to get stronger eventually you'll be in such good shape that there won't be enough hours in the day for you to be able to get a workout in. This is why both future Gohan and Future Trunks is growths were so stunted even though they both have the same potential as their past counterparts.
@@QaamansLand yeah, lol It was also a limiting factor for future trunks as well, he should actually have more potential than gohan. If Goku would actually decide to train with trunks in the time chamber instead of Gohan cell games would have probably gone through a lot more smoothly
@@Sugar_SpiceDB7ZS yeah but even if he had had somebody it still limited his growth sparring partners aren't everything there's a reason why Goku and Vegeta keep wearing weights and going into gravity Chambers and stuff
@@ChiChiLand299 Well take the current timeline Gohan, he trained 3 whole years with both Goku and Piccolo before the androids even showed up, that was something Future Gohan never experienced. Plus he also spent an entire year with his dad Goku in the Room of Spirit and Time as Goku mission was to make Gohan stronger and to push him and himself to the next level of Super Saiyan. Future Gohan didn't have the right training, training partners, equipment, and vision either because unlike his father and Vegeta, he never had that pure Saiyan drive to push himself into believing that there was something beyond the legendary Super Saiyan. He simply didn't know there was there was more to be gained and Goku could have and would have drawn that out of Future Gohan if he was still there.
When the Trio were heading to Namek, Krillin and Gohan did Image Training (though together), something similar to what Piccolo been doing on his lone time. And it happens in DBS where F.Trunks did this a bit alone.
I've always questioned why Gohan did not learn how to make copies, 1 copy studies, while the others train. (I'm talking about Gohan all of the times he wanted to bond with his dad or train with him or Piccolo.
@@MartezAnims I'm talking abou all of the times his mom stopped him from willingly bonding with his dad or wanting to train. Not in the future when all of his friends died.
Qaaman, Question for you. If we are applying Dragonball Logic, do you think the reason why Future Gohan was weak is because of his spirt/mind and body not being in sync? Reason why i say this is because if we look at Future Gohan, sure he was strong physically, but mentally he may not have been as strong, as he was only fighting as if he was his father and not fighting as Gohan.
I don't think the story was made that far enough to answer stuff like this. I feel it was more of a quick concept that despite all the deeper details of how it happened, worked super well regardless.
Gohan couldnt tap into his rage because he wasnt himself, he was trying to be like Goku, not only that but after years and years of fighting, seeing people die and losing, he just resigned himself to reality
By the time they got to Gohan they realized there was no one left. Since they had to groom him for future ass woopings, they just kept taking a piece at a time, leaving him with modicum of hopeless hope.
Nah im just imagining the future Androids basically bullying the poor kid both psychologicaly regularly so that they had something to amuse themselves with.
Damn, they must've said "Ahh let's not train" Im damn sure Piccolo would've told Gohan and at least any or everyone else they gotta stay in top shape in case someone decides to attack earth, even if they didn't know about the androids (can't blame them on that one) and even if Goku did die. They didn't bother going to the lookout and asking Popo about any hidden secrets to make them stronger (Aka the time chamber because Goku used it as a child I believe) Their fate was probably sealed anyway because once Zamasu came around (Or Buu) they would've died. I guess they're destined to die.
@@Chewbachi How? They didnt know where the new namek was and Goku with his instant transmission was dead and couldnt help him, also with limited resources they wouldnt be able to go there and like say Goku being dead he couldnt even tp anywhere, also the power tournament wouldnt work bc Zeno already erased Trunks universe, trying to go against what he did knowing how childlike Zeno is would have made him erased everyone also it was a danger bc it could bring Zamasu and Black Goku back and it would have very difficult to just do that with one universe and not with others (you know bringing "good" people back and not the bad ones)...Sorry but it doesnt make sense and is not possible to do that even after the defeat of the androids bc the Trunks timeline is the OG one and the one where Gohan defeated Cell is the alt one, the dragon ball wouldnt have worked for Trunks world and besides they died a long time ago, the only change that the namek dragon balls have is that they can revive as many times you want but NOT when the person died years ago
future gohan most likely started training hard when he got older but yeah even if he trained young it still wouldn't make a difference he needed the hyperbolic time chamber and goku by his side to teach and show him new levels he's never seen before guaranteed kamis lookout got blown up by the androids when they were flying in the sky
This video pretty much concludes the “why wasn’t future gohan stronger” video. If you really think about future gohan never trained with goku in the hyperbolic time chamber nor during the 3 year gap and because of that gohan’s only fighting/training knowledge was with piccolo as a 4 year old. No wonder he never grew into his full potential.
He probably did train with Piccolo and Goku in between the latter’s return to Namek and their respective deaths but not as intense. With no actual threat in the horizon it was more or less just a work out
@@BlueBlazeKing most likely he didn’t learn much afterwards. I wouldn’t be surprised if future gohan was weaker than his namek arc self during the android attack if we consider the fact that gohan had no reason to train and chi chi probably wouldn’t let him
Exactly the correct point. Future Gohan didn't experience the same level of training that the main timeline Gohan had. I honestly don't get why some people can't understand that.
the androids were too powerful most of the scuffles future gohan had with them weren't even fights but mostly retreats, survival, or to give citizens time to escape. Whats crazy is future gohan wasn't comparable to goku after coming from yardrar
Yes he was he was even stronger then future trunks when he first went to the past trunks only surpassed him when he got stronger in the time chamber don’t sleep on future gohan
Future Gohan lacked the guidance and training of Future Goku and Future Piccolo to reach his full potential. I wonder how much stronger Future Gohan and Future Trunks would get if they went into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber!
What happened to the zenkais?, considering the androids power level you would still expect a low tier SSJ like like Gohan that with 3 or 4 zenkais surpass the androids and be near the level of 16 or base Cell
My question is bulma is also a genius so she couldn't made a Android as powerful or enhanced future gohans abilities if she had access to what gero did
The way I view it is that the Z warriors were significantly weaker in Trunks timeline than the shows counter part. Especially because they were never warned and never trained. The Gohan from Trunks future was most likely forced to study after returning home from Namek and when Goku died, there was no real reason to train anymore. Of course Gohan being Gohan decided to rebel obviously and trained on his own ocasionally. Maybe even with Piccolo and Vegeta. Also a thing a lot of people tend to forget is without Goku around. Vegeta sometimes loses his motivation to train near as much and knowing that Goku couldn't be brought back with the Dragon balls due to dying of natural causes its possible Vegeta never became a super saiyan. I actually almost imagine Vegeta settling down more for a time. (In my own head canon I feel like he would still try and challenge Gohan sometimes because he is Goku's son but something tells me Chi-Chi wouldn't be for it) This is signified by the fact that despite Gohan learning how to transform, he doesn't really understand it. He believes its purely from a moment of anger but its so much more than that. Its a need. A drive. When you are at your most defeated moment. Something of which Gohan learns properly from Goku in the shows timeline when they train in the HBTC. So with all that said. With Gohan not being able to have easy access to training. With being held back by family concerns. Not having a natural aptitude for fighting. His only real drive is his need to defend people and the pain of not being strong enough to help anyone. Something of which i'm sure traumatized Gohan. Even the shows timeline version of Gohan has doubts in himself. Look how much Goku had to motivate him during the Father Son Kamehameha.
Remember goku says rest is even more important than training but Gohan had no time to rest and chill because the androids were always out killing and causing damage and Gohan always held himself in a lower regard than goku even in the present timeline he always thinks goku is stronger than him, his methods of training lack of experience and environment around him was the reason for him not being as strong
So you saying that because of towns being destroyed and him not being able to focus is the reason why he was a weak character? I mean think about it...Who could he have had the best training from? At this point Roshi wasn't around, Piccolo and Goku died. Who else did he have? All he could remember is what Piccolo and Goku taught him.
I wouldn't say that Future Gohan is dumb. I'd say that Toriyama is dumb for coming up with things that open up *huge* plotholes that can't be explained away logically.
@@DraculaCronqvist Future Gohan never got to train with anyone who could show him his potential and actually help him train. He also probably thought SSJ was the limit because thats what Future Trunks thought when he met Goku, and Goku and Vegeta were the ones who thought to go beyond SSJ. Goku couldn’t help Gohan because he lost his body because he died of Natural causes. Vegeta is super dead because he was considered evil, piccolo was dead but probably kept his body, so he was there but what he gonna do. He can help some which may explain how Future Gohan got SSJ. They couldn’t go to Namek because they were low on material and Bulma didn’t know how to build a space ship capable of doing that, and she was working on a time machine.
Yeah but one thing that needs to be noted is Dragon Ball super it's not part of the original continuity that OG fans like me grew up with it is its own continuity and showcases a different take on the end of Z. I truly believe that the hyperbolic Time Chamber what's still available in Future Trunks timeline and I've always believed that the reason why I wasn't used and Gohan's training suffered was because of the circumstances that the world was facing think of it do you really think that Gohan would go into the hyperbolic Time Chamber and just let innocent people die. He is Goku's son even though he has a different thought process now I truly believe at the Androids may have killed Popo I mean it would explain the reason why popo did not pay go on a visit and bring up the idea of the hyperbolic Time Chamber. But I believe it was still there but suddenly Gohan became the main hope of planet Earth that have been slipped into darkness and decisions had to be made quickly by Gohan. Like Gohan said two trunks before it went off and died you can hear them screaming you can hear their pain and that's why I had to go always felt like each death to Gohan was like a nightmare to him so there really wasn't much Focus in his mind do even remember the hyperbolic Time Chamber or because Goku was not alive the information may not have been available to him. But as when Gohan turned into a Super Saiyan I believe it was right after the Androids killed Vegeta Piccolo Krillin and Tien shinhan and Chiaotzu . I can just envision the Android's leaving the scene thinking they killed everyone they only have Gohan approaching the scene and see nothing but death and bodies around him as he walked towards Piccolo and Krillin and thinking of his dad as well as well as the senseless destruction that the Androids are causing all combined to cause Gohan to snap inside. Which caused the Super Saiyan transformation which would be exactly what he said to trunks I need things about Piccolo and Krillin he felt a horrible hurt. But at the end of the day I don't think that Gohan would have taken the time to enter the hyperbolic Time Chamber I mean 2/3 of the earth population had already been killed so Gohan would have thought if he did enter the hyperbolic Time Chamber the train trunks then maybe the rest of the Earth's population would have been destroyed by the time he left. I mean you can get an entire Year's worth of training and it would only equivalate to one day on the outside world better rate that the Androids we're killing the whole entire populace as a whole I just don't see Gohan doing it and if this is the same Gohan has the one in the main timeline sort of think he was always thinking back do any could have done more to save people as well as his friends.
I don't think he fought them all the time. I feel after they killed everyone else he went and trained alone to unlock SSJ then trained more for several years. I feel then he would have fought them once and they either let him go because they were just that cocky or wanted to fight him later since he was the only one who could even come remotely close to them. So then he trained more and then started training Trunks which led to the events of the history of Trunks. As for him not training Trunks right that largely due to Gohan really having 0 experience as a teacher plus he couldn't risk hurting Trunks too bad. Remember no DBs or Senzu beans so any big damage couldn't be fixed. Also the fact that base Gohan could fight SSJ Trunks with no effort shows just how far Trunks had to go. I mean if Gohan went even a little serious in SSJ he would probably end Trunks
9:30 this part makes almost no sense for the anime when you actually look at how the fight played out AND his previous fight's. The only reason anime special future gohan never killed the Androids was because it was always a 2v1. In his first fight in the special he almost beats 17 in few exchanges to the point 18 had to help him and in his last encounter he only loses because of the energy drain of the super saiyan transformation since he massively overpowered both individually and slightly as a team at full power as shown in thier fight and the only thing that kept then alive was teamwork. In the special it is also stated that Trunks lacked skill when it comes to ki control and he likely did not surpass future gohan on his last stance as the androids were playing with him.
@@QaamansLand what i disagree in this part here is that the Androids were just holding back a lot with gohan in the anime since they were not, gohan was able to go blow for blow with then and in other sources of official material for the special they are seen as equals meaning future androids (combined) are equal or a bit stronger than Gohan but when we factor everything we know about then it is more acurate to say gohan was above thier combined power. Honestly in the Anime if Trunks actually became a super saiyan at any point in time they fight with the androids, gohan and trunks would have won. It is even more impressive that this gohan is even stronger than piccolo fused with kami as the difference in power of both androids are insignificant when it comes to official guides such as the daizenshu.
I'm basing it in the Japanese dub. I'm typing this with my phone so I don't have the exact quote in front of me but 18 says to Gohan that she and 17 will fight at 100% and make sure he's dead this time. That statement implies that in previous battles they held back. The difference that you must account for is that Gohan got much stronger since the last battle in the anime and that's why he looked so much better. Even without an arm he also would have theoretically gotten a Zenkai boost as well on top of the training he did in between. So two things happened. The Androids put more effort against a stronger Gohan.
@@QaamansLand even then 17 in thier first fight was actually trying as 18 who knows how strong he is said he almost got defeated by Gohan i feel like not only 17 was atleast at 90% power for 18 to even state that Gohan almost took him down by himself and it is easily shown he was bleeding when Gohan punched him and at that fight gohan had two arms and 18 statement is that this time both will try to kill him at full power all prove that they had to try in most encounters to beat him. For me this means that 18 enjoyed him and 17 fight and knew what both could do and most likely she knew that together with 17 they would win easily.
I like how they didn't gave future timeline the rage boost cheat because even so a gohan without means to train to a goal or without a master he was aimless. That is what got him killed, and still reflected somewhat in the present timeline.
In 13 years there's no way Gohan was just running up on the androids and challenging them but I do believe here and there he fought them and obviously lost.🤔
For many people it is a really big enigma as to why gohan was so weak and the future timeline is so depressing because of what we see from gohan in the present, but you did a really good job at showing what resources gohan had to work with and how that really hindered his training, even if he got super saiyan earlier (which is arguable) in the future timeline, relative to the present gohan. They had so much less resources to train, resulting in a much weaker future gohan.
Future Gohan was suffering with PTSD. You can't make significant gains when you are depressed due to survivor's guilt. All of his friends are dead and he was left alone. Then, he never gets to rest, but has to keep getting beat up by the androids, resting, and getting beat up again just to stall so people could get away. He didn't have time to train. He was so exhausted that he basically WANTED to die and join his fallen soldiers, Piccolo, Krillin, and his father Goku. He didn't even visit his mother at ALL. That's a soldier suffering with PTSD.
@@QaamansLand Future Trunks ONLY knew war though. Gohan grew up in a peaceful life in the beginning, and then was thrust INTO war, if that makes sense. Trunks didn't witness his friends die. Gohan did. He was a cry baby, and then was thrown into a war with the Saiyans at 4 😂. Then he had to go to Namek and was beaten LITERALLY within an inch of his life. Frieza killed Dende AND Krillin in front of him. Then, when he gets home, the thought of peace finally returning is halted because his dad DIES and the Androids show up killing Krilling, Vegeta, Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, AND Piccolo (And according to Super, Pilaf uses the LAST WISH 😂). Then, for another 13 years, he is the ONLY Z Fighter without any help from King Kai or ANYBODY on the other side OR on Earth. That's much different from Trunks, don't you think? Even in Super, Trunks fought Goku Black for like what? A WEEK? And got flashes of PTSD and attacked Goku when he saw him in the past. And Goku Black only killed his mother in front of him. Gohan lost everybody. Just my thoughts on why he wasn't getting stronger
SSJ Kid (Future) Gohan was FAR weaker than SSJ Kid Gohan. It’s unfair but his potential was only half unlocked on Namek during Future Frieza and Future Goku’s battle.
4:12 now that i think about it, how does a 3 year old have that much awareness and combat prowess in the first place? most people dont even remember when they are 3 years old. does anyone remember when they were 3 years old at all? if so do you remember being able to do half the stuff gohan in this series was able to do at the start of dbz? it cant be explained by gohan being a saiyan so he develops faster as babies with saiyan dna have shown to be the same helpless babies that needs there parents as normal human babies do at that young of a age. at least with goten and trunks they are close to being considered teens at around 8 or 9 if i remember correctly and at that age u do have basic functions like everyone else does but in there case with there fictional abilities which makes sense story wise
This is where the anime is better in some parts , Gohan training with Trunks for a brief moment and Trunks turning SSJ later on for Gohan's death , while in the Manga Trunks was a SSj early which didnt make sense since Trunks doesnt have the emotional trigger for SSj , not to mention Gohan training with a SSj Trunks would increase both of their powers reaching very close to 18/17 . So Gohan training with a non ssj Trunks makes better sense as he isnt training that hard so his power isnt rising
To your last point. I think that’s what I like about how the future timeline stays consistent with the character arcs and everything. Gohan wouldn’t unleash his full potential in the future timeline because none of the ingredients were there for him to unleash his full potential. There was no way for him to get stronger or take those pivotal steps without a mentor/teacher or resources with the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and gravity rooms being gone. That coupled with his inherently pacifist nature, it just wouldn’t happen. Now, if any one of those ingredients WERE there, I could see Future Gohan becoming strong enough to beat the androids. Only other scenario would be maybe if future trunks was killed instead of future gohan, I could see him snapping and potentially breaking the SSJ1 barrier. Maybe not go SSJ2, but hard to tell with Gohan.
At the time the Androids were the strongest in the universe and Gohan was putting up a fight against them for 13 years and in his last fight he was showing signs of suprassing them the other z fighters died the first day so idk why people say future Gohan was weak he's weak compared to today's standards
Have you guys noticed that qaaman has been doing this thing with his recent videos where he changes the title and thumbnail like 4 or 5 times? I wonder why he’s been doing that recently
Yeah, I prefer this title over my favorite character being dumb/stupid 😂. But the previous title provided shock value imo. Either way, great analysis as always.
I really don’t think the multi form technique would have really made much of a difference in piccolo and Tienshinhan’s training considering their power splits with each clone they have.
Heya question Have you ever thought about reviewing/reacting to certain fan mangas? Id love to hear your opinions and thoughts on them. Mostly to see if you think it has that actual dragonball vibe to it
@@QaamansLand ehh, like I said it be interesting. Honestly you talking about Future Gohan made me think about the fan manga DBZ Gohan and Trunks. It's where Gohan actually defeated the Androids, and had to deal with the threat that our timeline had to deal with. It's an interesting read imo. I believe it was made by Young Jiji
Master Roshi was Goku Teacher and he still alive in that future timeline so at least he could train Gohan based on all his knew and that is about all. How many times did Gohan fought the Androids during those 13 years? We only saw him fought them at the time when Trunk already a young kid. He could have hide low all those time until Trunk was train by him and became his partner. Also! The Androids at that time had intention to take out Gohan, but told Trunk to go. If Gohan was fighting them as a child, they probably toying with him. Once he grown up, they don't intend to be merciful.
Toying with him? Cause he wasn't skillful as a fighter just yet? I mean...Gohan knew how to fight, he probably was the type that didn't like to fight unless they tested him alot before we saw Cell did that to him in the Cell Games
@@91Definite I was guessing that may have happen. After all, those Androids wanting to mess around as much and as long as they like. Trunk's life could have ended at their hands as well, and he was fortunate to survive and finally listen to Bulma to used the time machine to deliver the medication to Goku. In History of Trunk, they already forwarded 13 years after the demise of the Z-Fighters so we don't really see how Gohan was train and progress to his SS level. This is the Gohan from the future timeline a completely different being from the child Gohan in the present timeline during the Cell Games tournament so they don't have the same motive.
Hold on Qaaman. But Didn't Goku Vegeta and Trunks technically train by themselves in the chamber to unlock the ascended Super Saiyan? They didn't spar and awaken the next form together right? Because Vegeta didn't want trunks to train with him And Goku had figured out how to do it outside of training with Gohan. So theoretically, if they just trained on the outside in the future trunks timeline, they could have unlocked it as well. But I think the issue was Goku and Vegeta had the most experience with their own bodies to understand how to do it, whereas their sons. Just thought powering up enough is the pinnacle of their power. That's just my theory on that
I be wondering if they all ever had a talk about that new form "ascended super saiyan"? Cause I feel that Trunks could've had a talk with Goku about it, they know they could defeat Cell but that new transformation will slow them down. Power is one thing but speed is another
If Goku died u would lose hope too Lol Picolo told him he shouldn't lack on his training. He was warned so.. Although he showed he was a Saiyan Warrior goin against both Androids
Wasn’t vegeta only fully able to become super in the normal time line due to not only being outclassed by goku but also trunks, since goku died and trunks never became a super sayian maybe that’s what prevented the future Vegeta from transforming ? He still cared 😂😂😂 when he fr shouldn’t care anymore

This is true
100% correct! That’s why I always considered Future Gohan to be a guerrilla fighter

You'd think the number of zenkai boost and seeing people he cares about dying would amount to something

Gohan should’ve trained with Roshi. Better than nobody!
True, but some of Roshi's philosophy might not apply to Gohan and the circumstances. With the androids around killing people, he probably won't even play well and rest well.

Would be cool tbh
So you agree?
@@QaamansLand yeah, lol
It was also a limiting factor for future trunks as well, he should actually have more potential than gohan. If Goku would actually decide to train with trunks in the time chamber instead of Gohan cell games would have probably gone through a lot more smoothly

Qaaman, Question for you. If we are applying Dragonball Logic, do you think the reason why Future Gohan was weak is because of his spirt/mind and body not being in sync?

What happened to the zenkais?, considering the androids power level you would still expect a low tier SSJ like like Gohan that with 3 or 4 zenkais surpass the androids and be near the level of 16 or base Cell
"that was not the way that he was written in the future timeline" *he says this as beast Gohan looks up*
My question is bulma is also a genius so she couldn't made a Android as powerful or enhanced future gohans abilities if she had access to what gero did
The way I view it is that the Z warriors were significantly weaker in Trunks timeline than the shows counter part. (In my own head canon I feel like he would still try and challenge Gohan sometimes because he is Goku's son but something tells me Chi-Chi wouldn't be for it)
This is signified by the fact that despite Gohan learning how to transform, he doesn't really understand it.
Isn't there some kind of speculation about since the Androids don't give off an energy reading, there's nothing to base a Zenkai boost off of?
It's perfectly logical that he's much weaker than his main timeline self. For many reasons.
It makes perfect sense, you just don’t get it
@@DrJareld Then enlighten me, oh illustrous genius.
But as when Gohan turned into a Super Saiyan I believe it was right after the Androids killed Vegeta Piccolo Krillin and Tien shinhan and
Chiaotzu .
So what happened to future Mr. Popo? The androids killed him too, that’s why they wasn’t be able used the time chamber.
That's a good question lmao! Shit I wondered what happened to Mr.Popo in the Garlic Jr. Saga?
I don't get where you disagree with me?
Then explain your thoughts on how strong trunks was in the fight where he tried to avenge Gohan.
I like how they didn't gave future timeline the rage boost cheat because even so a gohan without means to train to a goal or without a master he was aimless.
That is what got him killed, and still reflected somewhat in the present timeline.
They def forced the dramatic effect when gohan was rushin to see goku cuz where the hell would he be comin from everyones already there even vegeta
In 13 years there's no way Gohan was just running up on the androids and challenging them but I do believe here and there he fought them and obviously lost.🤔
The title and thumbnail for this video changed more times than I can count lol
Had literally any other Z fighter survived they could’ve helped Gohan grow enough to save the future.
Gohan is awesome 😎
Man the title for this has changed like 6 times since this morning 😂
had kami’s look out survived the android attack. future gohan would have taught trunks how to go super saiyan had he knew about it
Future Gohan was suffering with PTSD.
That makes no sense. Look how strong future trunks got
@@YophiGamesnahh you’re just creating crap in your head
Bro the pilaf gang some how sold the whole future timeline and got everyone killed
I hope we get Future Gohan for Sparking Zero. The Survival game modes are a blast with him 👀
most likely he will be in it
To your last point.
Doesnt make sense how was goku in the time chamber for a month ? He would've been very old after a month in there .....
Future gohan and trunks would’ve beat the androids if they had the time chamber
It wouldn’t help as much since there nobody to teach both of them that’s powerful than they were
At the time the Androids were the strongest in the universe and Gohan was putting up a fight against them for 13 years and in his last fight he was showing signs of suprassing them the other z fighters died the first day so idk why people say future Gohan was weak he's weak compared to today's standards
I don't think training by himself did anything to really help Tien since he barely lasts longer than Yamcha
I meant the ability
@@QaamansLand oh 😂
To this day I wish we had a series or miniseries of future Gohan. Could even add an alt ending for fun.
A series of future gohan? That would be a dark ass series

Most tragic dbz character i just can't see him without getting super sad like Gohan don't deserve that 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
R.I.P Future Gohan 🔥🔥🔥
I loved seeing the movie History of Trunks, it's a sad version of the Dragonball Z universe but I enjoyed watching it still
Heya question
Have you ever thought about reviewing/reacting to certain fan mangas?
Id love to hear your opinions and thoughts on them. Mostly to see if you think it has that actual dragonball vibe to it
Reason?
@@QaamansLand ehh, like I said it be interesting.
Honestly you talking about Future Gohan made me think about the fan manga DBZ Gohan and Trunks. It's where Gohan actually defeated the Androids, and had to deal with the threat that our timeline had to deal with.
It's an interesting read imo. I believe it was made by Young Jiji
When's the 1st QaaMan stream of 2024 Quinn?
With one arm
Hold on Qaaman.
But Didn't Goku Vegeta and Trunks technically train by themselves in the chamber to unlock the ascended Super Saiyan?
They didn't spar and awaken the next form together right?
Because Vegeta didn't want trunks to train with him
And Goku had figured out how to do it outside of training with Gohan.
Power is one thing but speed is another
Yet some how Gohan & Trucks couldn't get beast or ssj rage at that time, especially when Gohan saw Piccolo die kind of
hyperbolic time chamber really became a planet fitness once vegeta and goku got strong enough
By giving the androids sloppy toppy case closed
Damn dawg, you done changed this videos thumbnail and title 3 times for what😭
Opinion?
I always assumed that Gohan got ssj for the first time when everybody died
He needed his dad!! Simple as that!!
Shit we all need somebody who isn’t here anymore. That’s life and sadly enough it stopped Gohans dream of being in school and learning
How does Future Gohan get the Senzu Beans if the Lookout is destroyed?
Gohan simply did not fight them for 13 years, he ran and hide.
