Learning about the SR latch in the 555 timer

- Just fiddling with the 555 timer so I can better understand how to manipulate it.
I don't go super in depth in this video, just a high level overview. I should have mentioned the other sides of each opamp are connected to different sections of a voltage divider:
The first opamp's (threshold for reset, pin 6) inverting input internally connects to 2/3 vcc, so if the input on pin 6 is greater than 2/3 vcc, it outputs high (1) to reset.
The second opamp's (trigger for setting, pin 2) non-inverting input internally connects to 1/3 vcc, so if the input on pin 6 is less than 1/3 vcc, it outputs high (1) to set.

It's a basic circuit component and there are thousands of easy-to-follow schematics for oscillators, delay, PWM, etc... but there is a lot of non-intuitive stuff going on in that IC and I'm working on wrapping my head around it.
Documenting for my own sake and for anyone else interested in this stuff
