For people not getting the Tethers + Forward/Back: Basically, right after she uses Grim Embrace, her hand will either get below or behind the crystal as the tethers go out from it. *IF* the hand is below the crystal, it means whoever got tethered by it will spawn a hand later and the hand will hit IN FRONT of the character *IF* the hand is behind the crystal, it means whoever got tethered by it will spawn a hand later and the hand will hit BEHIND the character So basically, when she casts Grim Embrace, see if where her hand is, then check if you are being tethered. Remember that for later. Once your debuff begins counting down, you need to face in such a way to bait the hand in one direction and you walk to the opposite direction. I believe the snapshot happens just as you get "Heavy". Example: Let's say she casted Grim Embrace and her hand was behind the crystal and you got tethered. That means, once your debuff ends, a hand will appear BEHIND your character and attack in that direction. So think, when your debuff countsdown, where you should be looking and where should you be walking to avoid getting hit? Follow me for more guides (I don't do guides)
and for anyone with a dash/gapcloser you can just go away from the boss, and gapclose like 1 second after the heavy roughly and you don't care about if it's front or back.
