One of the big points of failure is the outside healer, if there's no raises on the outside platform it's all over as you can go out-to-in, but not in-to-out. Your most confident healers should be outside, and having your res dps be on the platform is ideal. Our group had a modified strat where we ran with 8 healers, 1 extra for each platform replacing a dps, which gave us a lot more leeway during prog. Damage isn't a big deal, even with 2 less dps players we just beat enrage with 7 deaths and 64 damage downs.
Why split alliance A in 2? Raidbuffs are out of range, less heal cooperation, lb is even out of range. I really wonder why we dont keep alliance A west and C est while B is middle. If you're using CODCAR, pls dont complain you wipe to a 1% enrage.
With the Aurelia strat, 2 dps on alliance B are out of range of the rest of the party as well, so they have to be solo healed by the healers on A and C and can't reach their party members with their raid buffs. I still prefer it to CODCAR just because it's much more intuitive and easy to remember to do a more typical split (A west, B mid, C east), but it's not without its own downsides.

Got the clear after about four hours and saw enrage a couple more times after that before folks started getting tired and leaving. @@KalanosYT The problem is that most people don't want to learn the fight or they're carried and quit after 15 mins or so. That's the problem. The fight is Extreme/Savage level.

If it looks like she's pulling the crystal towards herself (crystal in between herself and her hand), the hand will spawn behind the player and the player should move backwards to get out of it (aka, face the edge of the arena and back up towards the center).
If she pushes the crystal you have the hand behind you (you are "pushed") If she grabs the crystal from under it you have the hand before you (I lovely call it the ball crush because it's the more annoying). I only ever look at the hand that has the crystal and not the other one.
It's not too complicated. If her hand is behind the crystal the hand will spawn behind you; if her hand is in front of the crystal (also seen as kinda holding it in her palm and her fingers curling to in front of it), the hand will spawn in front of you. You have it reversed.
Another nice way you can dodge the forward hands specifically as a BRD or DRG is Repelling Shot/Elusive Jump respectively. Just be sure to be up in the bosses hitbox so you have something to bounce off for BRD or you don't flip off to your death as a DRG. sry but these P2 placements are garbage. Nobody in EU ever uses those and its a big "f you" to controller players as they cannot easily heal the 2 non aliance members on the outsides. No guide would have been better than this, I am sorry
Inside tile healers can heal their dps on the outside just fine. It just requires awareness by both players. If you’re on the outside and dying to damage you’re either not coming in for heals or taking extra damage due to failed mechs. This strat is perfectly fine. Controller players rest assured.
codcar ie this basically fixes the healer issue. maybe actually look at it instead of just complaining. there is no perfect placements that have no downsides on any plans ive seen. maybe eu has it, which one is it. aurelia/wfj is the other common one I see on us and it is no better.
Hold l1 and hit left and right lmao, it targets non-alliance members just as easily as targeting alliance members. I'm not defending this strat but healing out of alliance players isn't hard and never has been.
Thanks for the video ^^ This is such a fun fight, but I do think it should have been easier. They said they went a bit harder than they wanted mechanically, and that is fine, but then why not counterbalance the higher mechanical difficulty with a lower DPS check requirement? They should make the check similar to that of an Extreme, but account for triple the party size (i.e make it easier). The check feels too tight for what kind of content they said they wanted this to be, even with most players being far higher IL than what it was balanced around.
Yeah, all Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) has to is revive long-slept horrible MMORPG behavior, where very little can do it well, everybody is annoyed, and the thing is dead.
How does separating a whole alliance easier for healers? In raidplan, both healers can work together to save the party while if anything goes wrong with codcar, it's a wipe. In codcar, raidbuffs in alliance A don't hit the other side. LB doesn't hit too. A healer lb from the tile healer in raidplan could save a run. And there's nothing I hate more than seeing codcar people whining on a 1% enrage wipe. Easier for healers because you don't have to spot heal? Well lucky you, alliance B and C have to spot heal their plat DPS anyway from tiles. Tower exploded? Well now good luck for the solo healing healers in A to keep their tanks running with all those 60k autos at 2-3 vuln stacks. They will have to spam GCD, they will have less awareness to mechs because they will have to watch the tank 24/7, and stuck not dpsing. Again, enjoy that 1% wipe. I don't know man... There seems to be way too much downsides using codcar. If you play it perfect, it will for sure feel better, but expecting this from 24 people is totally delusional. I prefer having better stability and better damage than "braindead if everything goes right, wipe if one thing goes wrong".

Except people have been asking him in his stream for it 20+ times a stream since Tuesday, so people clearly did need it if they're asking.
@@Vaeltis yeah but we surely didnt need crappy CODCAR strats
and now they updated codcar to match this shitty guide.
one more reason to hate this stupid man.

Codcar… yuck
sry but these P2 placements are garbage.
@@FaelonZ nah mate, this is awful placements
@ how is it awful?
codcar ie this basically fixes the healer issue. maybe actually look at it instead of just complaining. there is no perfect placements that have no downsides on any plans ive seen. maybe eu has it, which one is it. aurelia/wfj is the other common one I see on us and it is no better.
Hold l1 and hit left and right lmao, it targets non-alliance members just as easily as targeting alliance members. I'm not defending this strat but healing out of alliance players isn't hard and never has been.
Thanks for the video ^^
This is such a fun fight, but I do think it should have been easier.
Make sure to bully hector to NOT make a guide for at least 2 months!
Thanks, Mr Happy. I'm now a Veteran/Season Chaotic raider. Bless your soul.
Finally :)) thx dude ❤❤❤
Good to hear your strats are basically what PF is doing with COD2.
all four of you using that are super pumped right now.
@@profanegaming2829 Oh I don't use COD2, I use the o1ZfvSL3dCiqjwfJ raidplan.
Woo, Thank you Mr. Happy!
You missed the opportunity to call p1 hands "backshots" or "frontshots" 🤓
Time for this to be pf strats im calling it
Maybe now, we can all settle on one strat.

YESSSSSSS🎉🎉🎉
Thank you MrHappy, we needed this 😂
nah….pass
Thank god you’re using CODCAR. Raidplan is so bad for healers and ranged. Really good job with this one.
@@Aclas143have you entertained the possibility that people play on controllers?
