If you've ever seen star city game's commander vs series they use to do hidden roles. Find some one outside the group to assign one to each of you. And then build a specialized deck to accomplish it. Things like control all your opponents' commanders at once, have a creature with X amount of equipment attached, mill 150+ cards in a game. They aren't necessary win cons just fun ways to inspire unique decks!
Edit: also the fun is none of you know what each other's role is and try to guess them at the end.
The war doctor should’ve gotten a time counter for each card revealed by the 10th doctor
Loved this episode idea! For another idea, every set that comes out has a card that everyone says 'goes in Prosper' or some other popular deck, but are there enough to build decks for popular precon commanders that contain NONE of the non-land cards included in the precon?
8 player commander would be crazy.

War doctor is even stronger than you think he gets a counter for each card exiled by the tenth doctor since the they get exiled one by one because he has to check every time if the card is a nonland
Such a chaotic way to play. Too funny when folks opted not to play cards because they couldn't remember what they do haha Also, shout out to Esmond's awesome shirt. The irony of wearing a slowbro shirt when people have to painfully and slowly recall what their own cards do.

A minor misplay:
The War doctor should've gotten two time counters at 45:53.
This is because the tenth doctor want a card with a specific attribute (non land) so you exile cards one at a time (as you do with cascade). So in this case The War doctor receives time counters equal to the number of cards you exiled.
This wouldn't have changed anything, I just thought you might not know.
I'd love to do something like this but if you get the card wrong, it gets countered or goes straight to the yard/exile (this wouldn't trigger anything if it otherwise would). Or maybe a completely new zone like the Shame zone.

No criticism meant with this comment but you guys messed up steel hellkites first trigger, when esmond payed 5 after hitting matthew it is only supposed to destroy 5 cost permanents not the 2 costs (unless it was edited out that he also payed 2).
Just wanted you guys to learn and have more fun next time.
Maybe the video wasn't clear; only 2 mana was paid into the hellkite's trigger, so only his 2mv permanents were destroyed
