  • Really enjoyed my first ride on my 90 Wizard. Took a bit to get started but felt like an old friend after few minutes. Feel free to move forward to about 1:53. ;-). BTW, i76 foil, Slingshot Ghost 111 and 4.2 Fringe.

    Smooth jibes. Now impress me with a tack on the 90:). Looking like developing a modified (both feet behind the mast) uphaul technique will become a necessity as boards become little to no nose design. Going to be real challenging in the underpowered (for water starting) big chop seas. Another foiling challenge.

    Nice jibes! I'm wanting to try out the Shred Sled with my Cabrinha Varial wings. That might be me on the orange and blue kite... :)

      @@TeamSeattle99 How long have you been foiling before trying the Slingshot Wizard 90 ?

      @TeamSeattle99  3 года назад

      @@team3383 I have been foiling for about 3 years. I don't get out as much as I would like. I would say 4 or 5 days a month but the summer is the time to get better!!! Thanks!

    what is the wind minimun for such a small board and sail? And how big sail can I use with this board?

      @TeamSeattle99  3 года назад

      I think you could get up to a 5.0 ish. but most of the time, I use something under 4.0. It is really for pretty high winds. Since it has a minimal nose, you don't want a lot of weight up there.

    What is the yellow thing in the water, a tarp?

      That was a large patch of algae from Wells Island. It was weird. It would break off in these large carpets.

    What was the wind speed ? Size of sail and board ?

    • @TeamSeattle99
      @TeamSeattle99  3 года назад +1

      Windspeed was pretty light maybe 12-15? . That is a 4.2 Fringe and the board is a 90 Wizard. That was my first try. I have been on it a couple of times this summer. Kind of regret not spending as much time on it as it is pretty easy to get dialed in.

      99% i76 Slingshot. Just makes things easy and both board and foil are designed to work together.
