There are countless people right here in the USA who need saving. Churches should not be sending missionaries out of the country with the world in it's current state.

As someone from South America i cant stress this enough, if you come here, just go to the most visited places by tourists. Come with someone, do not befriend anyone, do not tell anyone where you're staying, do not follow them or get in a car with them. Do not walk outside with valuables such as phone, wallet, etc, in the streets, do not stray farther than city centres, for even in the most luxurious cities there's a slum of criminals around the corner.
You are not in your safe first world country anymore, here common stuff you do everyday could mean your death.
If i didn't live in South America, i would never come here for no reason, the world is big enough to die in some gang-ridden tropical land.

Americans were warned not to travel to Haiti and were advised to leave if they were already there. People should know when they are in danger. If people are carrying guns all around you and getting shot dead in the streets, you need to leave. You are putting God to the test if you stay, and the LORD warns us to never put Him to the test.

I am very sorry to hear that. As a Haitian, I do not encourage anyone to go to Port-au-Prince or nearby right now. I don't understand why mother nature doesn't eliminate these gangs. If they're not going to reform, they all need to go to hell. Sometimes, I feel the urge to go back and live in Haiti when I face so much humiliation from others, but I can't. Too many innocent people are dying. Free Haiti. Rest in peace and prayers to the family.

My heart goes out to the family members of those killed. The couple reminded me of two angels. Unfortunately, this has been repeated over and over in Haiti. I have seen so much time, effort, and money spent in that country and it never seems to recover and become " normal". Not to mention several governments that have come and gone. 😢I give much credit to all those who have tried to help. But after observing the situation there for decades and looking back at history, I personally would not spend 1 minute of my time or 1 penny of my money on that country, there is something eternally wrong there, l believe it is forsaken.😢
