These arguments are made based on political alignment. Meaning if you supported Ruto during the 2022 elections, chances are the you will support Ruto's choices, even if they're harming other people. The problem here is that the US that has been destabilizing Haiti for over 200 years including sponsoring a coup in 2004 that abducted a president voted in by 90% of Haitians and transported him to a strange country 10,000 kilometers away. The US president called his French counterpart to celebrate the successful coup. Allegedly, US/France were also involved in 2020. Kenyans pretending to care about Haiti did not care before our white US masters recently hired us to do their bidding. Not even during the 2010 earthquake that killed _220,000_ (!!) Haitians. Even if we do bring temporary peace in Haiti, we're apparently being used like Idi Amin of Uganda was used to suppress an uprising against the colonial British govt in Kenya. It probably won't solve the problems of Haiti long term... it will only serve to delay the emergence of a perennially peaceful and prosperous Haiti, because the democratic choices of Haitians are not respected, and leaders they do not choose forced upon them.

So let me get this straight after, the international community meddled in Haiti’s affairs and created the deep divisions you guys are talking about. Now Haitians are left alone to clean up the mess . How about taking accountability for a start.
Bringing the international force in Haiti is not the solution, cause they have to bring a body bag, this is how they gonna end up. First of all only the Haitians people can choose who they want to be in charge, point blank period?
Président. Guy Philippe will resolve our problems. KENYA is not doing anything to help. Haïtian people don’t want any Kenya’s help. It’s all political unfortunately. Kenya is getting into trouble by sending any officers in Haiti. Don’t sell out your men-women to die in Haiti. The Kenyan people could come over at a later date.
Haiti is a mess and the world's attempts at fixing Haiti are also a mess and not well thought-out. Haiti needs political stability (i.e. a political forum hosted by a neutral third party that may need to incorporate the gangs now running Haiti, providing them amnesty), basic infrastructure, food stability and sustainable economic growth. Security will follow automatically when every party feels like they have a positive future thats accessible to all.
Yes to all this, however, any current entities backed by the UN/US/Canada/France... actually anyone not Haitian should not be considered. The current candidates and ex politico helped the rise of the gangs in the first place and funded them. The gangs have realized this and this is why they are against the council, being basically installed, by the US. the last prime minister, wasn't even real, he was selected to be, and never instated. He's even part of the alleged killing of the former president. Yes to amnesty or all out used them like they've been being used for the past decade or more, absorb them into a new military, not police. military. Keep them where they can be seen and controlled, with a non-outsider installed government.
Wrong. Security leads to political stability which leads to economic security. You can’t have meaningful elections and debate while a bunch of gangsters are running around sowing chaos
Kenyan police are used to collecting bribes on the streets “kitu kidogo, soda, chai” but not doing anything like fighting gangs. I can’t imagine how scared they must be after hearing this kind of news 😂😂. Mr. Ruto is trying to secure some payments through this, but he rather finds something else to sell and let these boys enjoy the bribes.
As much as Kenya’s proposal should be considered and lauded even, an UN multinational force comprised of French- speaking military forces would be more appropriate. The police would be militarised as a result which can have important democratic consequences for Kenya when these police return.

Kenyan police would put him in thier pocket easily
There will a language barrier for sure.
That's the first thing I thought!
That is NOT good
Kenya biting more than it can chew. Kiherehere tu!
Send Kenyan police along with Mexican, El Salvadoran, French and Caribbean marines
french?
Kenya and the diaspora should go there and be welcomed with flowers by all Haitian parties involved in the conflict.
Ruto looking at $$$$$$, he doesn’t care loosing 1000 kenyan citizens over $$$
Smh… every effort to help Haiti will fail since no one is listening to the people that is struggling with life..
We have never sent any POLICE out of Kenya in any mission period.
but your media says they were sent
You don't know what you're saying.... Kenya Police Officers have been deployed for Foreign missions, Kindly ask for information if you don't know.
Deploying the Kenya army might be reasonable but police is unacceptable and unconstitutional.
So more meat for Barbecue to roast?
Kenya need to fix it self frist before intervening in another country's affairs😮
Kenya doesn't have any political instability issues, what do you mean
You sound selfish
Kenya is a highly tribalistic nation ruled by a tribal chief(Ruto) who cares only about stealing from public coffers and hiring friends from his tribe for lucrative government positions so that they can plunder and invest taxpayers' money in Dubai instead of developing Kenya.
That money should be used to help us here look at the way it still flooding in nairobi na unapeleka watu haiti. Bad decision for sure Mr president youll regret it.
Although as a Haitian, I appreciate the help of our brothers from Kenya. What I don't understand is, why would president of Kenya agreed to clean the mess of the CORP GROUP led by the US.?
I am Kenyan and we have no business in Haiti our police can't even speak French. This move is very unpopular in the country
As a Kenyan, I don't want any of our troops to go to Haiti. It's disturbing that the president is wiling to sacrifice our sons and daughters for a cause that neither concerns nor benefits us. We have our own problems here to handle and taking our soldiers from their families to fight in a foreign war is not viable. It's UNACCEPTABLE! Haiti can take care of themselves!
Nah they need a miltary not police.
Im so surprised we dont send troops from the US
THAT BUSINESS IS BETWEEN MR. RUTO AND THE US GOVERNMENT AS A KENYAN AM NOT IN SUPPORT OF THAT; AND WILL NEVER BE
"a 100 or so coppers".. It's a 1000 first of all and why are YOU editorializing? Why don't you just report the facts?
I haven't watched the video yet, but we (Kenya) are sending a batch of 100 - 200 cops for starters
It's a shame. Pray for the innocent people and children in Haiti.
Haiti needs international assistance. The U.S. has guns flooding into the gangs, while the world simply watches. A President was assassinated and the country has spiral completely out of control. Send troops
Kenyan chicken coming to get barbecue😂😂😢😂
Ever since they introduced so called democracy to Haiti, it’s been chaos since.
Democracy was the worst thing that ever happened to Haiti. I wish I could bring the Duvalier Regime back…democracy has brought Haiti anything but more poverty, instability, military intervention every few years.
Wagner in Africa? But not Kenya for Africans? Why not?
Because we never created the Haiti problem and we don't have the capacity to do anything
We will join and unite africa
The US isn't paying Kenya to intervene in Francafrique.
Do not do it. You should know the history.
They said Kenya has no business there... well neither does the US
The United States is smart enough not to repeat. It's failed previous attempts to govern Haiti.
1000 Trained and Fortified Police Officers Not, simply 100. Stay on Point with the Narrative. Risking your Credibility.
He said 100s which is true.

So what's the point....No one offered to help...Kenya did, now all these criticism how does it help resolve...let Germany deploy a force since it already doesn't need the peacekeeping dollars...right sense?
Kenya has no business in Ayiti
They
Are going to do what Haitians are not doing
Kenya can’t even handle the corruption in their own country but they are going to help Ayiti do WHAT? Just more killing and starving Ayisien?
@@clareinc2009 It's none of their business.
Haiti needs to fix their own problems

There is no way to obtain their consent. They don't have a voice without some kind of elected leader.
@@scoobydoobers23 there actually is and so far neither the gangs or civilians are accepting. Some are ok with it, or any help... however... because it is funded by colonizers, you get less trust.
@@marcrooseler There are people saying things but states interact with states, political organizations and occasionally powerful non-state actors (Taliban, Hamas, Houthis) but states can't interact with criminal gangs or random civilians. There isn't enough mass behind them to speak for a major part of Haiti.
Kenya needs to fix itself before it goes and tries to help anyone else. This seems like a power grab, plus the Haiti gangs that are in control already said he will consider this an act of war
Kenyans don’t support that mission in totality.Whom are they to support, there’s no Government in Haiti?
Someone please help explain, except the second return of a religious figure, what causes so much conflict, intolerance, micro aggression in the universe?
People who are opposing this should come up with a solution , don't just complain , find a solution to the gang problem
There are tons of opposition solutions and proposals. Someone is not paying attention in class
The gangs in Haiti should treat those Kenya cops like how the Somalians treat the American soldiers in Mogadishu
There are more than 1000 force from Kenya alone are going and this is misleading?
Kenyans please don’t send your police force to Haiti because if you do, you just signed your death certificate. Let Haitian people solve their own problems without intervention.
Let people stop dying of fear, if we can fight to make peace where there is no peace let do so without any worry . let try ourselves.
Jokers!!!
I like the interview with the UN rep...very eloquent. My advice to our young Edith Kimani is to respect Kenyan Presidency when reporting
Where are the Kenyan police? They are nowhere to be seen. All big mouth and nothing else.
Justice 4 Haiti 💜💯
Sending Kenyan’s to Haiti 🇭🇹 is not a good idea! Why can’t the big countries help to fight the gangs, the Haitian’s help themselves if they have enough tools and munitions to fight these evil gangs that’s destroying the capital for many years now.
Language barrier,Haitian speak french,Kenyan speak English, that is already a challenge
Police with zero experience in urban combat, in an extremely hostile far of country where the locals speak French. This will be our Stalingrad.
I fear they may target these Kenyans to make a point not to send in foreign forces. Many/most may lose their lives.
Kenyan police are fierce. I visited Nairobi years ago. They look like an elite military force. Haiti will quiet down real soon.
Cap
25000 Haitian police can't do it, but 1000+ can
Kenyan Police should not police foreign countries! Kenya itself needs policing!
Kenya shouldn't send police there. Not safe at all 😢
Kenya has its local bandits problem. Why not sort out that first?
As much as Kenya’s proposal should be considered and lauded even, an UN multinational force comprised of French- speaking military forces would be more appropriate. The police would be militarised as a result which can have important democratic consequences for Kenya when these police return.
Haiti had been going on like this from the revolution back in the Eighteen thirties if i am correct
Should FRANCE be blame for such atrocities that is taking place in Haiti?
Yes, anyone but the Africans who actually live on the island. Anyone but them….. how could they be responsible?
It sounds like a plan to send Kenyan African armed men to occupy Haiti not to help,it always starts off its deceit help just to turn out to be a conquering move
Train our own brothers and sisters in the United States the Haitian people
Kote nou? Figure that one out, who's in? There are lots of trained Haitians, question is, who's side do we take? We need a cease fire and a grouping to see who's being funded by who, kick out rusty foreign aligned politicians. Seek funding from non western countries, to include kenya and anyone who is funded by them. Work with the countries Haiti has historically helped with their independences. In any case.
