- Armed gangs in Haiti still control nearly 80% of the capital, Port au Prince. The violence has continued despite the appointment of a transitional government, following the resignation of the former Prime Minister Ariel Henry last month. Kenya is proposing to send hundreds of police to the country to help stop the violence but many are increasingly worried about the idea.

Dear People of Kenya. I have been to Haiti, Please do not send your sons there to die. Haitians need to learn how to solve their own problems.
As a Kenyan we have no business there.
As a Somali who lived in Kenya, help your people and we appreciate it
No you don’t
Kenya has no business in Haiti..
Just like the French an yanks did not have any either
Kenya has all business in haiti
As a Kenyan, I kinda agree however even my Canadian government seems to support Kenya with significant funding so theirs that.
They need to be there. Plus any country that can help bring Peace
Which peace that even America couldn't bring?
Imagine America is right there and Kenya wants to send soldiers. I guess Haiti has nothing to steal anymore.
Do your research. Whenever USA intervenes in Haiti, it always fails. Haitians do not want USA in Haiti. Now, USA is offering Kenya 100 Million to send their officers to Haiti. Haitians do not want that either. We want stability in our country but we have to lead the mission.
Look at the that mess (nation) If left alone......

I am part of the first generation of Haitian Americans born a raised in the United States. I served in the US Navy, and I have a Law Enforcement background. I am just one of many Haitian Americans who have a skill that can be utilized in Haiti. In this first generation, there are doctors, EMTs, architects, engineers, IT professionals, and many others who will have a vested interest in bringing structure and order. If the US really wanted to do something, they would reach out to this group here in the US. The US could have easy put a peace core made of this group and used the money to back the peace core instead of to foreign interests that will have no vested interest in Haiti. Put the call out and watch how many of us will respond to the call.
Exactly as a first gen Haitian myself I say the all the time, we have enough skilled Haitians around the world that are VALUABLE and can be integral in the reconstruction of our homeland
I doubt they want to be part of a homeland that has nothing to offer to them. Let's be real: they aren't willing to be there RIGHT NOW because of the collapsed security situation and altruism DOES NOT pay bills. The US trued TWO TIMES to calm the situation down and it got worse every time it happened...
Sounds good if the country was in a ceasefire . But until that is done then military intervention has to take place

There is something that’s not adding up…Kenya is an English talking nation…Haiti speak French…Kenya lays geologically in east Africa…but in west and North Africa where most countries speak French and geographically closer to Haiti 🇭🇹 would have been easier and more convenient to ask help from…so if you see…this doesn’t add up it’s just totally wrong…

France messed up Haiti big time. Its time the French Legion revisit its International Policy especially with the Countries they colonized.

Why sending Kenyan Police, instead of sending the Kenyan Defense? This is a job too much for the Kenyan police.
