    Health is a personal responsibility. Living a healthy lifestyle and exercising goes a long way. Obesity, smoking, and chugging alcohol all come at a price. Eating processed trash food causes health problems. Be responsible for your health.

    I can’t tell you how many people I know that retired to Florida and found issues with finding good healthcare. The wait times for good doctors were insane if they could even find it. Many were forced to come north for decent healthcare.

    I’ve lived in WV my entire life. I vacation in SC and Florida! We have a diamond in the rough in Appalachia! I’m perfectly fine with people not moving here! We have many transplants moving in around us from; Florida, Georgia, DC, Arizona, Kentucky etc. They stated “they were escaping high taxes and blue state disaster policies.”
    WV has beautiful countrysides and some of the lowest housing prices in the nation. Our medical system is WVU medicine. We were ranked one of the best states to live during the pandemic too!
    I wonder who does these poles? When we always read the gloom and doom about WV we sit and laugh about how wrong they are! I mean who would want to live somewhere with rolling hills, low crime, affordable housing, beautiful countrysides, hunting, fishing, biking, endless wooded trails etc?? To each his own!
    Great show Jerry! I do love Southern hospitality, that is one thing that makes me love my SC trips!

      @sloaneharrison8239...... don't move to FL ! We moved from MI to FL 14 months ago. We bought a very nice house on the 9th green of a golf course in a gated community. We didn't know car insurance would be 3x as much and home insurance 4x as much. Scams are everywhere down here. Food is sub-par. Power has gone out in the middle of the day for no apparent reason - internet can be spotty at times...... reminds me of the Dominican Republic.
      We are moving back to MI ! soon.

    Am looking at SC in a couple of years. I did learn that location in terms of flood plain is important. So among the cities and their surroundings, which suggestions do you have? Ideally I am looking at building a new home where I can age in place.

    • @JerryPinkas
      @JerryPinkas  5 месяцев назад +2

      You are correct making sure that you are in right neighborhood and considering all your options is super important. It’s not just about where your house is on the street. It’s the access coming to and going from if you’re considering floodplains. There are a lot of things that you need to consider and look out for. That’s what we do every single day when you are ready we are here to help you to avoid those pitfalls that are costly and help you find your hidden gem. Low property taxes is important. Here in NC it like paying rent to live in ones on house. They even tax your social security.

  • @voz805
    @voz805 3 месяца назад

    Healthcare is certainly an important consideration and housing is second. In the NE there are terrible housing crises going on in many states, it's not just CA. It's often #1 on the state legislators' lists to find affordable housing for working class and senior residents. It's very backlogged. Research is critical - you'll find our energy costs are among the highest. One good point is that, for now, we don't have extreme weather, although we're having milder winters and hotter, longer summers which may please some but not others.

    We are about to retire in the next 2 years. My family is my wife,myself,my daughter and my granddaughter. Se currently is 6 yrs old. We looked at Myrtle beach 5 years ago when we thought we could afford it. Now the prices have went boom. We will have a retired income of about $ 70,000 pre tax. Is it possible to either buy or rent a property within 15 miles of the beach in 2025

    • @JerryPinkas
      @JerryPinkas  5 месяцев назад +1

      You’re right prices everywhere in United States have definitely gone up over the last five years making it harder to get ahead… But I will say the Myrtle Beach area and South Carolina is still very affordable considering ALL of your options. Many areas west of Myrtle Beach are being developed and growing right now ( they are still very affordable compared to close to the beach) when you’re ready let us know. We are here to help you to avoid the pitfalls that are costly and help you find the hidden gems. thanks for taking the time to watch and comment here on these videos.

As the MSM increase the anti-white propaganda , your area may become a problem . Why move to South Africa when other location may be better in the near future . Go and live there for an year and learn more . I have to get a real deal before I own any real estate .

    To Summarize: RED STATES BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH, BLUE STATES GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH. So who in D.C. and State Capitals really give a f-k about it's citizens??? Of course, I have family in Florida who moved there for the weather, but fly back to PA, NJ, and MA for annual visits with their specialty doctors when they have an issue. Only my Veteran Uncle stays in FL because the VA there is one of the best outside John Hopkins.

      Those states should worry about the health and welfare of the thousands migrants coming up there. Nothing healthy about having thousands of homeless migrants lining streets with tents in freezing cold up there. We must all pay our fair share. Blue states voted for this mess and must deal with it.

    • @josephjones5070
      @josephjones5070 5 месяцев назад +3

      It depends on who is doing the surveys or more specifically who is PAYING for the survey.
      These kinds of surveys are ALWAYS influenced by the institute or organization that finds them. I really don't know why people still put faith in these information sinks. I guess people just want to be told what to do or are lol king for confirmation bias information to make them feel better about their decisions.
      Anyone can make the place where they are a paradise or a hell. It's a personal choice.
