Your videos are a life-saver. There's no way I could ever read thru all the confusing lingo on my own! You have a relaxed approach; your voice is calm; you enunciate well while still maintaining a natural tone of voice; the cadence is just right. And you're well-informed! I can't imagine doing any of this without you!
You do the best Job.!!! I personally what to thank you for being a great teacher.!!! Im hoping this year my wife and I, ARE GOING TO GET PLAN-)F OR PLAN-G, THEN ADD ON A GREAT PART-D... WE ARE ALSO LOOKING AT . THANKS AGAIN.!!! JOHN,/ BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA
I’m a retired educator in Georgia…retired after 33.5 years of service in Ga. I was told by the people at the state health benefit plan services that there was a Medicare Adv. plan offered to retired teachers upon turning age 65, but I was told I had to accept it at that point ( age 65 ) or lose it forever. I don’t know why they make you choose their Medicare Adv. Plan or lose it right then? I did end up accepting the MA plan with prescription drug coverage. It includes Medicare part D as you stated. My health costs are covered by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. The drug coverage is covered by a different company, and there is that 7000 dollar plus out of pocket ( Stage 3 ) that you were talking about included in the plan ( only I was told by my Medicare Adv. people that I would not move to stage 4 until I paid over 7000 out of pocket for drugs PER YEAR all total MYSELF…..but not sure the lady knew what she was talking about.). You still have to be part of Medicare to join this Med. Adv. plan I’m on, which I am, and I am eligible for of course, and I do pay Medicare premiums….I have part A and part B. But I also pay premiums for this Medicare Adv. plan, which includes drug coverage, so it’s costly when you add up all the premiums. I pay a copay at the doc’s office and there is no deductible for Part B. There is a total out of pocket of around 3500 for part B, with hospital coverage being somewhat different but it still has a stop gap type of out of pocket coverage to keep me from going broke should I ever need hospital coverage. The plan with Medicare advantage is similar to the one I had with anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield when I was still working as a teacher…,only now I’m also paying for Medicare ( except part A ) as well as the Medicare Adv. Plan. However, I’m wondering if the new rules coming out in 2023, 2024 and 2025 will apply to this Medicare advantage plan with regard to drug coverage. ???
One of the things that is missing in your Advantage plan videos is an MSA. May want to include that in the future. This comment applies to the video that discusses the types of plans not the part D video.
These videos have been great!! Very detailed and easy to understand. I tried watchine on my TV but I couldn't see the transcript so I signed onto my computer, but both are great. I have recommended you to a few of my friends and my HR person.
We're investigating our options for my husband who is currently on my employer insurance plan, and trying to determine if it would better cost/benefit-wise to move him to Medicare Part D during annual enrollment. This is some of the best information I have found online and I appreciate you taking the time to do this. Thank you.
I am watching all your videos and have learned so much. It is that time for me to get Medicare and understand what to do even though I have a great agent, I want to be sure about the decisions I will be making. Greatly appreciated your well-informed videos for people who are kinda overwhelmed by all the mail you get for everyone wanting you to sign with them
If your agent doesn't know as much or is not able to guide you as I do, you might consider changing agents. Have you seen this video? ruclips.net/video/TK3d7lnl6gw/видео.html
Thank you, Matthew. Your webinars and your staff are always very helpful. I trust you and them to educate me and help me make wise choices. Not going anywhere else!
@@MedigapSeminars I will only deal with you because I have gotten a understanding that I couldn't get anywhere else. Thank you so much ❤🙏🏿 I will be 65 November 22 2023. I prayed & I believe God sent me to your video. Thank You Jesus 🙏🏿
Thank you for your videos. I like the way you present everything I a way I could understand. Most of all, listen, I can listen to your video at a pace so I can understand and since you are not selling the insurance to me, I CAN TRUST YOU with what you are telling me
Plan F is only available to those who qualified for Medicare prior to 2020. The only difference between Plan F and Plan G is that with Plan G you pay the $240 Part B deductible. But Plan F cost between $300 and $400 a year more than Plan G. Why you would pay an extra $300+ for a $240 benefit?
I have a stand alone part D but the company I'm with will no longer be available after December. On the list of possible companies sent to me there is PDP . What does the PDP stand for.
What I would like to know is a comparison of co-pay by prescription of the different plans. It could also show which plan cost the cheapest co-pay by prescription. Just hoping there’s one of this kind of 25:14 comparison. Just subscribed because it’s a great video information. Thank you very much.
Thank you for your videos. I find them interesting and informative. I particularly like that you stay politically neutral by presenting the facts and letting your viewers make their own selections. It’s a shame that medical coverage has become so convoluted and confusing, particularly for those who are technologically adverse.
I absolutely agree with these comments above. How is an aging population supposed to keep up with this? Not everyone has a willing/capable friend/relative to help figure this all out. Thank you, for helping us! ❤
Thanks, much needed information, given in a clear and understandable format. Have passed this channel along to friends. Additionally the agent contacted was great.
Mr Classen,I’m a follower and I like you,I believe you are honest and compassionate to seniors.I have silverscript by Aetna,I only have one blood pressure drug. This is the cheapest I can get. I really don’t know it it is good choice or not. Please advice.Thank you.
I love the seminars because these are really informative. Do you have any seminars that cater to veterans that have Tricare for Life? I also have a Tricare Supplemental Insurance that's covers costs of prescriptions that Tricare won't cover. I turn 65 in Dec 2023 so decision time is approaching. I understand Medicare will become primary and Tricare will become secondary. I don't want to purchase any insurance I really don't need.
One thing to keep in mind. The same drug cost may be drastically different if you use a capsule vs. a tablet. Usually they are the same drug. We had the doctor change some of these which saved us a lot of money.
I was just approved for ssdi..these videos help..but I wish they would just make it simpler for the elderly, it's so comfusing..my UK friends can not believe we go thru this process..and have a headache after I try to explain
When does the 63 day rule come into play in regard to the 7 month IEP? I will be 65 in May of 2023 and I am currently on an ACA plan with drug coverage but I will cancel this when my Medicare begins in May of 2023. Thanks for your great videos.
Thank you Matthew! Excellent videos! Very helpful. Working with your org this year and am glad I got to see your videos. Demysitfied the process and really clarified the key aspects. Thanks again for your helpful videos.
I truly wish your resource agents helped with this process in choosing the correct plan. It can be confusing when you and / or your spouse take multiple medications. Some are very high dollars.
thoroughly excellent and helpful

All these videos have been absolutely excellent. Much much appreciated. Am so much smarter now than I was before. And so much more prepared.
The best explanation on this video. Mathew is explaining very clearly.
Most well-structured instruction on Medicare I have found, and not cluttered by sales interest. Lucky to have found this

This is all a lot to learn, & after 3 videos, my brain is done for today. Ugh, why does our government have to make everything so complicated!!!!

Initial medicare recipient researching medicare. Good information on part D.
I was quite confused by the info for Part D on the Medicare website. Thanks for a much clearer explanation.
Making it difficult for US senior citizens ! And they get billions to so many countries ! Why can't it just be simple! Free health insurance!
I found this information to be very helpful in my search for the most appropriate Medicare Part D plan. Keep up the good work.
Your not explaining plan "F" or do you have a page for this?
