I bought one of the 1 man xl and absolutely love it. I am partially disabled and the ability to get in and out easily is much appreciated. The bivvy is well made and the extra large peak means even more protection. The inner dome can be kept clipped in when the bivvy is folded up. Fox, you have seen a hole in the market and gone for it ! Thank you on behalf of all the large, disabled and space loving anglers on the planet !!!

    Hello,
sorry for my poor english, but i have a question.
I bought a 1 man xl Bivvy and its realy well made, i love it. On my second try to put up the bivvy i need only 5 minutes. now for the bad. to take down the bivvy in need 30 to 60 minutes only to pull apart the poles. On my first try i thought it was up to me because I did not know the trick, on the second try I got help from 5 experienced bivvy owners. they had the same problem. is this a design problem? can you make a video which show us how to easy pull apart the poles?

I had the same problem with my fox eos but after a few months of use it comes down as fast I can put it up it just takes time for the joints to loosen and the material to stretch

Shake and pull then twist...and....release the tensioners on the side most people who struggle that's the problem

I have one brought it for the extra space and headroom however not stable in high winds at all no storm poles or guy ropes so beware of the wind lost a bit of confidence in mine as first time I used it the wind got under the pram hood and just lifted it straight out of the ground
Love the size but not confident to use in the wind
    Anyone else had this ??

Why does my ground sheet not fit properly, seems to not fit to all sides did you also find this?. Also do you use the ground sheet if using the inner capsule as this also has a zipped in groundsheet?

is there a particular way you have to pack this bivvy away? I found trying to break it down was a nightmare , it folds strangely and is very difficult

Is there heavy duty groundsheet attached by velcro or zirpped , in R Series XL Bivvy ?

the HD Groundsheet is attached via clips with a strap that allows you to tighten the groundsheet to the bivvy. The Groundsheet in the Inner Dome optional extra is zipped in.
