Thank you kindly
Great review Jay you've answered so.e of my questions as was thinking about getting this for my trip to France next yr . We'll done mate
Glad I could help!
Very good review you answered all the questions before they were asked ! Big boy RUclips channels should take note ! Good luck in france matey
Cheers fella, really appreciated 👍🏻
Good video, thanks for posting, since army days I have never slept in a tent again. But for the on the move campers it might fit the picture.
Thanks 👍🏻🤞
Superb review and a superb tent. Ive just bought a Westlake magtec bivy. Yours is much better. Don't have the inner part that you bought extra but do have the magnetic doors with super weak magnets. no zip at the bottom of the doors like you do and I HATE mine don't . I have bought much stronger magnets and will have to put a zip across the 2 doors. So JVA thanks for upsetting me but I knew my tent was lacking as soon as I put it up. Great video Ray K UK YNWA.
Oh Ray, Thanks so much for your comments. Seen your bivvy loads of times(super cheap at the mo) and thought should I buy it. Now I'm glad I didn't, sorry you did though. I'm sure you'll come up with a working solution for your door. I can't wait to get mine out again, really is a great bivvy. 👍🏻👍🏻
Like that mate and good luck in France 🎣🎣🎣
Thanks James, really appreciated 🙏
Just got the green version of this including the inner for £272 quite a saving to full retail. The only problem i had on mine is the corner clip fabric fell off on one side as it was a manufacturing fault, i am hopeing it can be fixed by hand with a bit of sewing. You can pack this in the bag provided with the inner dome attached as long as you fold it properly. I take out all the poles on one side then the next set of poles and then fold them together and do the same on the other side to make like a pizza slice shapeand then snug the bars up to cloth while rolling and it will fit in bag with room with the inner attached.
Yeah I've managed to get the Inner in the same bag. Great Bivvy for the money.
Just got back from a week in France, couldn’t fault it at all for the price, only thing is I tried to fold mine with inner capsule but couldn’t get in bag , now I know u guys have managed it I’m going into my garage to give it a go as out in France again in 5 weeks so will be a bonus if I do t have to take the inner capsule out 🤞🤞🎣🎣
Great vid and ive got the same bivvy and i love it! so many little touches make it an absolute bargain! if you were to pay full retail at 480 ish youd be happy but getting it at 200 is a massive bargain! and its massive they call it the hotel down my lake hahahaha
Lee's Hotel lol Yeah very happy with it. In France now and.standing up to the crazy thunder storm's nicely. 👍🏻
@@jvacarpyadventures7045 well tight lines and hope you get a new pb!
Always look for pegs that have the metal showing all the way though the plastic.... The plastics on those pegs won't last long if they need to be banged in on hard ground... Hate banging pegs in, but every now and then, in gales, needs must...
Cracking review 👌
Thanks Andy, really glad you enjoyed it. Please SUBSCRIBE if you haven't already 😀
Hi, really nice review buddy. It looks like the hole in the ground sheet is used to anker the peg for the inner dome. Am I on to something? 😅
Could do but when you use thr please inner dome there's no need to use the groundsheet
I would have thought you'd be better off leaving the HD groundsheet in, as those plastic woven groundsheets don't last very long and aren't 100% waterproof. Bivvy looks an absolute bargain though, great review 👌
Kris very true. Just arrived in France and because rain is due I have left the HD Groundsheet in
@jvacarpyadventures7045 good luck out there mate 👍
@krispaterson8828 Thanks appreciated, roasting today but meant to be thunder and lightning for most of the week
Hello! Can you still get the same offer for this product. Here in my country is twice the price without the inner capsule.
Thank you for the lovely content!
Bivvy here for £199

Only thing I would say is check the height in your country it might be 200cm high. Here it is 170cm high. I would have preferred the 200cm high
How did it fair up for you when you went to france .your thoughts
Fantastic for France and.the conditions were harsh every evening. Thunder and lightning. The magnetic door is a game changer. I will be taking it back to France later on in the year. Shop around as I've seen it quite cheap online.
Can you still fit 2 bedchairs in the capsule?
I would say Yes but I haven't tried.
Have you used it in the rain yet?
You need to watch my France vlogs dude, crazy weather. Bivvy performed beyond my expectations
did you have the door open when raining? did you find that the zip on the peak leaked into the bivvy by a good foot?

Hi mate, would this be okay for 24-48 hour sessions with the missus and my little boy? Cheers
Without the inner capsule there is loads of room. It's a really good 2 man size. Still a 2 man with the inner capsule in just not quite a big. I took it with me when I went with my 18 year old son recently and always use it when me and Emma go. Lots of room. Look around for the best prices though I'm sure I've seen it Cheaper than what I paid recently.
@@jvacarpyadventures7045 cheers buddy much appreciated. Will have a look, have seen it for £200 from TFT too but will hunt some more
