Morrowind did not fooled around if for whatever reason you decided to chose Werewolf path. I mean it really felt like a serious curse/blessing as every night you transformed (no player control) & had to kill something in order not get the huge penalty after reverting back to human form next day. Fast travel was limited in TES3, so you were risking a lot if you were wondering near settlements late, as once some one saw you transforming, every guard wanted you dead. Pretty immersive experience as you could also kill everyone in that game (including quest npcs) and guards were not immortal & with infinite respawns. The Big Pus of being a Werewolf was that you were really very powerful. And I mean Morrowind - style powerful. It was not like in TES5 Skyrim where Werewolf felt straight out like a blessing with no drawbacks as you could control your transformation and be badass on demand. The only downside was that you were lacking Well Rested buff that was just a temporary 10% faster exp gain buff after sleeping, so hard to call it a curse. In Morrowind it was actually way better to pick the Hircine Ring as you could be Werewolf on demand with anyway and not had to deal with a lot BS. Alternatively, you could be a Werewolf just in Solstheim & after main quest you just cured yourself & use Hircine Ring.
Pros of having a furry werewolf gf: Soft and fluffy, gives good snuggles, a murder machine if anything slight you, very warm in the northern solstheim weather. Cons: You become a filthy n'wah. I think the cons greatly out the pros by a long shot.

If i remember correctly theres a quest investigation involving murder or something in the Skall village and for some reason, i think theres a very incriminating letter,just sitting there on someone's bed. I feel like every elder scrolls game Morrowind onward ,needs to have a quest that a NPC just straight up writes a letter to their victims/ accomplice and stupidly forgot to send said letter to intended target or forgets to destroy. It doesn't make logical sense lol. I know this happened in Skyrim, but i can't remember where, and i definitely feel like something similar happens in oblivion. I don't think it happens in daggerfall, but then again, there's like 400 randomly generated quest types or something so i wouldn't be surprised if it did in daggerfall. For that particular quest in Skall village, the quest broke so i just killed the guy who i was investigating. The leader was unhappy but moved on with life. Also why does everything in the dlc weigh like a hundred pounds? Not too much of a deal considering you could get a thousand strength from potions/ corpus but whatever. Also, when trying to be a werewolf, because of my permanent and temporary fortify attributes on my character, it set my speed to like 0 and agility and strength were heavily penalized. Odd. I wanted to be a werewolf because i prefer to be one in both daggerfall and Skyrim, and i only use hand to hand in daggerfall (as werewolf can set handToHand over 100) and frequently in Morrowind and oblivion. Too bad no wolfies in oblivion. I hated the bloodmoon maze as a didn't pack any health potions and i ran out of magika. The werewolves were harder than karstag and hircine lol.
I love Solstheim, the Werewolf jumpscares were a total dick move.
