      This is the best description I’ve ever read of how it was watching MJ play. For those of us lucky to have witnessed it, we know there is only one 23. The closest thing to MJ is not Kobe (although he was unreal), and it’s definitely not Lebron. Steph Curry has that magic when he plays too. When he plays I watch bc I miss watching the GOAT play, and he brings a little bit of that magic back

It's hard to put Jordan's exploits into words. Particularly in situations where Chicago was down late and the odds of winning were slim to none. Then Jordan would enter that zone and just take over. I'm still mesmerized watching him do that 30yrs later. And I despised Jordan when he played because that meant my team wasn't going to be champions. At no point in Lebron's career....has he ever put on an offensive display like what we just saw in Finals game! I'm a Lebron fan...I really am...And Lebron is an All-time great! But let's never get confused....Michael Jordan is the GOAT!!!!!!!!

    • @pvj2234
      @pvj2234 4 года назад +2

      Yep, playing cards, smoking cigars and drinking until 1 in the morning. Per Magic, "I gotta let u go Mike, just in case you forgot, you need some sleep, you gotta big game tomorrow" mj "what you leaving for? Don't worry about me, I'll be alright. You need to go make sure Clyde and those Trailblazer boys are getting some sleep!" ...Mike was so damnnn G!
      So Mike goes hard until a little after 3am, drops 35 in the first half then shrugs at Magic as if to say, "i told you ill be alright."
      I can't believe all the Clyde hate on here That man was a physical and athletic freak with a stellar hall-of-fame career. He was choosen as 1 of the 50 greatest players of all-time. In case you forgot, Clyde the 'Glide was a 6'7" guard with a 4.42 forty time and a legit 41 inch verticle. Just like back then, right now, today, there's only a hand full of guys in the league with that size and skill criteria. Hes played in 10 allstar games, an original dream teamer, won a championship, he wrapped it up after 16 seasons in which averaged roughly 21/6/6 (lebron 27/7/7 kobe 25/5/5). Show that man some love, he put in work!!!!
      ...and for the record, the year he led his team to face Mike in the finals, he was a strong MVP candidate coming off roughly a 25/7/7 , he was decent that season, HE WAS BALLING! ...but Mike was Mike.

    The GOAT! Makes it look so easy. Kobe copied the moves but not the instincts and intuition to execute the moves. ANd MJ was jsut more athletic and stronger than Kobe.Kobe had to operate farther from the basket because he wasnt as quick and explosive. THat's why he's inefficient volume scorer.

    I love that he did this after being told his stats and Drexler's that season were similar other than in 3 pointers. Jordan replied "It's because I choose not to take as many 3 pointers."
    So he went into this game basically looking to prove he not only did everything better than Clyde, but especially the one stat they had Clyde ahead on. Imagine being so good you can decide what style of game to adopt because you know whatever you choose, you'll destroy them anyway. Not only that, but 2-3 of those 3 pointers he decided to take right after Clyde had missed one the other end. Absolutely incredible. The GOAT debate is such a waste of breath.
    Clyde at 3:45 says it all.
