According to your dad, sitting on a couch and zoning out on other people playing a game while stuffing your face with some sort of snack food and beer is less of a waste of time than being engaged in activities that require focus, concentration, problem and puzzle solving, improves hand-eye coordination, and sometimes requires learning how to work with others as a team to achieve a common goal?

After they realized I wasn’t cheating they turned around like “I can’t accept these answers if none of the work is right.”

My senior year of HS I took geometry, when my friend and I walked into the class on the first day and I saw all the football players in there I said to my buddy, "oh no, we're in the dumb dumb math class." We didn't have to memorize any of the definitions of the formulas and every friday the teacher would hand out the tests, tell us we had 30 minutes then leave the class and lock us in. For the 1st month she moved one of the football players around from desk to desk and when a girl asked why she kept moving him the teacher told her it was because he talked too much. The boy was quiet. He finally got moved behind me and when the teacher left the class that friday a big paw grabbed my shoulder and pushed me to the side and I went "oh, i get it." After football season was over he was allowed to sit wherever he wanted. I guess he got a B like me up to that point.

I could get the question "do u want eggs for lunch?", and I was like "what??", coz my brain just couldnt connect the words to understand the meaning. But I had no problems reading. It was the spoken language, that took time. And my brain worked just fine, I just had problems getting a sentence put together to properly voice my opinion. It was incredibly frustrating. And I didnt have to go through it during an election campaign against a meanspirited, bad faith liar with a media too busy whipping up their latest clickbait sensation and "asking questions" to actually care about facts.

I was an American Art Teacher from Michigan and while teaching in Sydney Australia (1990's), I was asked to run some evening classes at Pier 1 (formally called; "Campbell's Stores" built in 1850 to 1861) on Sydney Harbor. The first evening after my students left I had to walk down a flight of stairs (around 10:00 PM) and almost stepped on what I thought was a Dog ... nope ... it was this MASSIVE rat! At that time of night the building was pretty much empty.
A few days later, I met a plumber who was working on pipes under this Pier and told him about the rat ... his comment; "There are dozens running under the Pier on the pipes all the time!!! This poor guy was standing in a aluminium dingy on the water fixing the pipes, while rats were dancing all over the place???

I support fetterman. Ive had 2 strokes and a heart attack and open heart surgery and ive completely healed and got all my senses back from my strokes. People fetterman will completely come back to be healthy.

Even better, as someone else mentioned, Fetterman will be fine in a few weeks. Oz will still be a shill and (I think) fraud.

True story, when you mentioned gamers have great memory and impulse control, I meant to throw up some horns, but I forgot to and gave everyone the finger instead

They should have studied the effects of gaming on the physical health of the gamers. I bet they'll all have carpal tunnel by the time they're 35.

At first when Michael would say he's crushing it, that kind of bugged me. But now, I giggle to myself waiting for him to say he's crushing it. Never fails to make me laugh now.
