Dandadan seems to shock me more and more, I love this show so much. @araravilano Ken being the "adult" in their relationship is what sets him apart from other protagonists. Momo is a great character and that includes her character flaws.
The art and direction in this show is so odd. I thought it would be because of Devilman but this episode was something different. The way the animation is reminds me of the late 70s early 80s with films like "Heavy metal or "Felix the Cat" it looks so freeform and just fluid. weird.
@ Honestly, just like around the time I speak of, both good and bad. But I think at least for me that makes it good. Just like film to digital some animation lost the most beautiful forms and techniques. This just remind me of the gorilla fully talent no tech animation used to be.
That's the vibe I got from the manga, the very first chapter too. The animation director and sakuga artist clearly knew what they were doing. Big ups from me👍👍
