@@annelewis7435 I am starting with a juice and parasite cleanse (I bought the Biocleanse kit with the bentonite clay and herbs and also got some extra herbs on Amazon to kill the parasites) and I intend to cleanse for a month. I got a few books (the Sunfood Diet and the book that Markus from "The Health Life" wrote. I also got Fully Raw Kristina's app for some extra recipes). This is not my first time juice cleansing or trying a raw diet, but this is the first time that I am planning a transition to fully embrace a raw vegan lifestyle long-term. @@annelewis7435 I got a few books about raw veganism and I am starting this weekend with a juice cleanse. For the cleanse, I also got the Biocleanse kit (bentonite clay + psyllium husks) and I also got some herbs at Amazon to kill parasites (wormwood complex by Kroeger + cloves + black walnut). I intend to do the juice cleanse and take the clay mix for about a month. This is not my first time juice fasting and I find this protocol really effective. I'll do some enemas here and there. I also got Fully Raw Kristina's app for some raw vegan meal recipes after I finish the cleanse. I want to start really simple, I don't intend to buy a dehydrator right now or anything like that. A blender and a spiralizer are all I have and I think it should be enough for first the six months, at least. I want to make it as simple and clean as possible at the beginning. I have been receiving this calling to transition to a raw vegan diet for 5 years now, and I think it is time. Happy to connect if you want to know more! :)
He's totally right--when I have a green juice a day even when I have cravings I can just scoff at them. I'm in control. When I'm not juicing lots of greens and vegetables, it feels like I can't stop myself from giving in to cravings. Because when you're nutrient deficient your body is trying to get you to seek out those nutrients. The juice provides them thus taking away the cravings 💯
That's what happens to me😔 If I get lazy, busy or just run out of time. And don't get to make my juices, or my other healthy food...I end up resorting more to coffee and other things, to make up for the energy. And I get myself on a downward spiral 😜 Sometimes it's really hard keeping up with it all the time. But it's definitely best, for my body.
What an inspiration! He is so laid back and so knowledgeable on what is a healthy raw food diet. Especially when he talks about the ferments and lemon juice helping cook and digest the food in the intestines. Very awesome. 🥰Will definitely be looking for his music. Thank you Gillian for bringing us all these amazing inspirational interviews! You are bringing out so many important people!
I want to say first...I love your videos. I have watched all most all of them. I want to suggest clip on mics...those big microphones obscure your faces as well as make it look awkward. I think it would give a more relaxed style interview. Just to let you know I DO NOT comment to be negative, you are the reason I have gone raw vegan...I'm still learning and love the interviews on the couch lol. P.S. You Rock
I'm turning 26 in August and also a musician (guitarist) and working on my music brand while having a normal 9-5. I have some tramas I am sorting through and the goal for me is high raw for now. Emotional eating is so real and I love spending time in the kitchen. I know that will come in handy for the more gourmet raw recipies.
OMG! Rawvolution was my favorite restaurant for so many years! I still miss it, but have two of their cookbooks:) Truly revolutionary cuisine. Inspiring and entertaining interview with Daniel, Gillian. Thank you!
Been vegan several years and heavy raw, but still do a fair amount of cooked foods, gluten, beer now and then...kinda hit a plateau. Needed to hear this. Heard a few things that are pushing me into a more fully raw lifestyle. Seems like the next level to push through to. Good luck to everybody out there trying to improve themselves, no matter where you are!✌🌱🧝
Regarding the topic of salts in the body, phosphorus/phosphate is an essential mineral in the body but ignored by most people. It's the second most abundant mineral in the body after calcium and it's needed for the formation of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) which is the energy-carrying molecule in the cells in our body. It's found in higher concentrations in animal products like meat and dairy. So, raw vegan diet is low in phosphorus. We might benefit from the supplementation of phosphate salts like monosodium phosphate or dicalcium phosphate. I recommend every raw vegan to look into this. I personally haven't tried it but I'm thinking about supplementing it soon.
Thankyou for this content. It’s consistent excellence. I’m still dipping in and out of RV but it’s definitely a way of life not just a “diet”. Personally struggling with food. Not eat for ages then binge. My concern with RV is lack of nutrition…. But have you seen the crap in modern food! My education has 99% come from this channel and hugely grateful. Im looking at the SAD diet as smoking now … it’s helping the change. 😊

I was a proponent of high protein - meat diet, but I feel sluggish all day, because my body needs a lot of time to digest all this food, so I am going to try fruit only to see how I will feel.
Это 2 противоборствующих течения: кето и веганство, первое даёт насыщение, но мало энергии, второе даёт энергию, но не насыщение, может надо есть сбалансировано?
I’d recommend a parasite cleanse. When you’re struggling with food cravings, it’s the parasites speaking as they feed off of that. Another thing to look into is emotional eating which involves a weak nervous system. Working on a parasite cleanse, the emotional body, and nervous system will help you. Also, go in steps for a long period of time. Consume raw twice a day and one cooked whole food plant based meal, preferably raw in the mornings. Do this for a long period of time while you work on parasite cleanses in between, and healing the emotional body and nervous system.
When I did ayahuasca I also had no purging at all when everyone around me was purging. I was juicing & eating only fruit prior to, so yes I believe that plays a huge factor like he said.
The part where he talked about the 12 different salts was interesting. I didn't know there were that many. He mentioned: - calcium fluoride - calcium phospate - calcium sulfate - potassium chloride - potassium phosphate - potassium sulfate - sodium sulfate (I think he mentioned this one twice? Not sure if he meant to say sodium phosphate) - sodium chloride - iron phosphate - magnesium phosphate - silica
Gillian, if you find out more about the different salts, can you please share here with us? I will also try to do some research on it. Great interview!
Excellent interview, but the lyrics of the song he co wrote… contradict his philosophy…. “I like my whiskey neat … etc… “ The salt knowledge is critical to water absorption… Dr. Barbara O’Neill is a genius at explaining it… short version use Celtic Salt has 3 magnesium compounds… Changed my water absorption COMPLETELY. Gillian, Lots of chemistry between you two…. 😉💕
Untrue. For the right candidate, they are very beneficial, and can literally save lives. Some people are don’t respond to other types of therapy, and healing, and they turn to psychedelics as a last resort. People that do psychedelics, for the most part are not doing it recreationally, they’re doing it because they ran out of other options.
That’s a belief, a polarized belief, which seems without adequate personal experience/testing. There is no limit to the value of entheogen’s and what is known as psychedelics. It exposes the consciousness to experience itself unfolding and blossoming into higher realms layered on top of your current now moment that are always available to be accessed . However these realms would be for all intensive purposes as hard to break into as a sealed bank vault with a wooden toothpick if you do not have the key. Let alone stay for awhile. There is only one key with many different qualities but it would be best understood as a frequency key. Do not let anyone train your belief system to a complete positive or negative understanding without rigorous personal experience or testing. Even then a fully polarized belief is only hindering that entity because they are overlooking value when no matter the circumstances purpose is always existing. I started eating mushrooms when I was probably 15 or 16 and it kick started my spiritual journey into overdrive. I am about to be 31 and I have probably consumed multiple pounds since those early days. Even talking about mushrooms feels lacking because without a deep dive into dmt mushrooms really in the way we use them now is only scratching the surface of the potential that is there. Anything you read, anything anybody says, anything you watch, is just an idea that may be of service or may be something you resonate with not because it’s true but only because it’s relative to where you are at in your process and how far you are willing to leap off the cliff of comfortability and into the great mystery. In fact combine sacred plant medicine and prolonged dry fasting/or fasting, just like it says in the emerald tablets btw, and remember a system of ascension that is right here right now. You do not need to wait for anything or anyone it’s your choice when you walk through the doors of the infinite.

Im not into the weird stuff but I LOVE GODS RAW FOODS AND JUICES AND COLONICS BUT THAT OTHER WEIRD STUFF I DONT WANT BECAUSE I THINK THATS OUT THERE BUT THE OTHER I KNOW HE IS TELLING TRUTH ABOUT RAW JUICES AND COLONICS AND YOU FEEL AMAZING. THATS TRUE
Hey guys, is there anyone here who is naturally slim and has high metabolism (loses weight very easily and hard to gain it) and can live on this diet? I feel like if I did it I´d look like a skeleton in two weeks
You need to do cleansing protocols and Juice fasting. Once your body is clean inside then your body will automatically be at the perfect weight for you when eating raw vegan. Im also a slim person with light thin bones and not a lot of fat on my body. I could never have big hips and thighs because that is not my body type, but on raw vegan I am very healthy and look great even though still thin. You will not wither away.
Again another raw lifestyle person living in a warm climate. So sick of everyone not living in N decota Alaska Montana Colorado. How much daily does he spend on this lifestyle?
People who live in cold climates and are interested in a raw lifestyle tend to be high raw rather than fully raw. As for the price point, this man makes a lot of money so he can spend a lot of money. For the rest of us though, it's still much much cheaper to buy vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds and prepare your own food rather than going out all the time. Yeah it costs some money. It's worth it and in many cases is less expensive than people who are going out to eat steak, drinking alcohol, etc etc
Yes raw foodies tend to live in warm climates but there are many high raw vegans out there and that's highly beneficial as well if you don't want to go 100% raw. Much more sustainable in a cold climate
hey i"m british u k england ( prejudice as a sausage kebab soaked in alchohol ) L.A. i could prejudice that anything will do but hey mahn i think i drop all that pooh let it go learn stuff open up britain drop it its going to happen anywaiy an it aint who you realy are 🔵💜🔵
Unfortunately in our state of our economy veganism or being vegan is expensive with inflation so that’s why eating animal products it’s more affordable and sustainable and nutritious in todays worlds inflation world 🌎
@@lightshinein you forget that people who are struggling have to pay bills , electric, internet, car bills and gas ⛽️ with inflation everything is double the price , and no before you ask that people should give up of those things you just can’t do that people pay bills first and then food comes last which is sad , because they only have enough for a day worths …
Yikes - animal products way more expensive - cheese, dairy, steak? Compared to, say, bananas, sprouts, lettuce? If you want really cheap, go processed-beyond- recognition (non)foods - potato chips, pasta, breads, muffins, etc.

But if you are eating raw its no different than a traditional eating person going to a restaurant and paying $20.00 for an unhealthy meal.
@@shawnbartels6091 you’re not even getting a meal!
@@bre2650 it is a meal for a raw food eater is what I was saying. The cost would be the same if this is the route you are taking.
@@setfreemiss Thank you!

@@AmeliaLidstrom Which would you consider better in your opinion and why, raw vegan vs raw meat?

Unfortunately in our state of our economy veganism or being vegan is expensive with inflation so that’s why eating animal products it’s more affordable and sustainable and nutritious in todays worlds inflation world 🌎
my groceries are way cheaper when I'm eating raw!
Raw is expensive but vegan is cheaper than meat by a long shot. Rice and beans, legumes and potatoes are crazy cheap. 🎉

I eat meat and life if so amazing. Meat is good.
