Repairing High Pressure Hydroilc Line

@mars1952 Most of our hydro lines are the flexible type but we have a old Dave Brown that has this steel high pressure line that runs from the pump in the front of the tractor to the back 3 point hitch. Its very hard to find anyone that can order it and when they can its ridiculously expensive. So I just repaired this one. Really wasnt to bad a job. I love to TIG weld anyway!

I never would of thought that you could weld an hydraulic line. The welds look great. It is holding pressure?

it got tractor boy away.but its a a no no in heavy industry in england.im sure its the same over there...

i tried fixing a hydrualic line and couldn't get it to seal for nothing.. always a pinhole that would not go away.. mabe i should have used nitrogen purge or something
