Thanks for the tip on using yellow Teflon tape. Wow, all the research I did and it took this video.
Those are half hitch knots! Thanks for your video!👍🇺🇸 Thanks for the great commentary and explanations! Very helpful.
Thank you, this was a big help for a first timer
How you were taught
Very helpful video! I have to change my first hydraulic hose.
Thank you! My hose wore down the same way when rubbing against a grapehoe implement. roughly 250,000 rubs against a smooth steel cylinder every year wears down a hose, apparently. Haha
12:40 - it's not the size of the orifice, it's the size of the flare. Looks like 3/8" JIC in your right hand and 3/8 JIS on the machine. Get a couple plugs/caps to test your crimp fittings.
Great video!!!
same thing on my B2350 cost me about £40 for new but i see its got 3/8 usa size but is 1/4 in uk JIC fittings in uk in 1/4 internal with 7/16 tread plus looks like tapered treads
Clove hitch w/half hitch I believe
Don't use teflon on the npt or anything with an O-ring to seal it
ISPD thanks for the vid
Hydraulic Hose REPLACEMENT not REPAIR. A Hydrualic hose repair would be were you would cut it and place some sort of stint. This is a part change video.
You are technically correct... but I wonder how many DIYers have a hose connector crimping machine.
@@mrdiyguy123 I looked at your video hoping to see a hose crimping machine. You should change the title to hose replacement, not repair.
Where u get that cab
Made it myself. Not pretty but way better than nothing.
Too much explanations just go direct to the point next time..
Man get to the point
what an annoying commentary
Not in every case, but usually critical comments come from people who do not create content.
@@mrdiyguy123 negative comments usually come from simple minded people who totally miss the point and benefit of the lesson.
