Fantastic video, I see so much more then just a few spools in the yard, IC and anxiety free, stress free environment, you can just watch the difference between pre and post spools, it was like dark into light. The pigs, the chickens... The chickens got out so we just left them, they're happy! You sent that what you went to find or is that what you went to build.
35 years living with multiple sclerosis here disabled for the past decade, we know what we need to get through it's just showing others how they can help. You went to your homestead because you knew how to help you've walked the path and you're starting, I sat and watch this video for 17 minutes, the pressure inside subsided and I was able to breathe and be comfortable, and that's why I continue to come back, cuz you're working on me too! Thanks for taking the time to share your day it made mine!

To see a Dad and Daughter working, learning and doing something together is the best.
Mine was kidnapped 5 years ago. So many feelings here with this one.
I need some spools. I got my first goat today. My girlfriends X gave her's away. I have worked with a lot of animals. Goats are new and we found us a Nigerian Dwarf today. So you just taught me something to build for ours.
I am getting ready for the ride. Rabbits, dogs, goats, chickens and whatever else we can have around.
Great Video. Its good to see a young woman trusted with work.

5:30 I worked for the phone company for 30 years and we had all sizes of wire reels. I used to practice walking on them, (rolling them). I figured if I ever became a lumbethack, that would be a valuable skill... The bigger ones are a little easier. You have to be quick to walk the smaller ones, they're very reactive. The 3-4 foot diameter ones were the easiest for me.

Thought for sure you were going to stack them in a pyramid. We just picked up three goats yesterday and the fella we bought them from said his goats had jumped from some stacked pallets onto his lower barn roof, then they went all the way to the top. It was a tin roof - he said it sounded like the worst rainstorm ever - lol

I put planks from spool to spool and a few cinder blocks as boosters for shorter goats to the taller spools. When the ground is wet my wether stands on one block giving me "the look". Goats don't understand that I am not the omnipotent weather controller. That's above my paygrade.

Goat hooves would shred composition shingles. The goats do not need additional grip. The ice won't bother the goats. They are wild animals and used to living in the ice. Goats are very agile animals.
