Maybe a little longer final drive or gear ratios would mitigate the lack of straight line speed. But the car is a gem on the corners!

1:02 penalty?
Depending on the rules, he still had 2 wheels on the track, so i am sure he isn't getting any penalty. At least that's what i could see.
why does he fight so much against faster class?
Cause its racing?!
@@gtonboards you dont race against different class...lmp vs gte dont fight...for example
He seemed to be able to get a fair balance through braking. The cars ability to slow down faster than pretty much anything out there put the driver of the E36 as fair competition to the faster cars.
There were just some moves he made that just wasn't worth it, this one in particular made me wince.

Some times it's not only safer but faster to let a faster car through and get back to your driving line as soon as possible. Instead he stayed in attack mode and thought he could get the cut back through turn one, which is a really sketchy place to do in the first place.
Then @24:30 is a similar scenario and pays an even heavier price as he gets undercut in turn 2 by what looks like a Holden commodore.
No sympathy, was the E36 drivers fault both times
Leider sooo viele Amateure in dieser Meisterschaft... wie man ja am Ende eindrucksvoll gesehen hat. Geradeaus können sie alle fahren. Aber bremsen und Kurven geht nicht..
Very unsporting. A menace on the track.
