  • Hidden underneath the Gamchi glacier lies one of Switzerlands most beautiful canyons. Only possible during October and November. If it´s too warm the water level is too high and if it´s too cold most passages will be covered in ice making it almost impossible to pass.
The darkness and cold force you to stay focused the entire time as there is no room for any mistakes.
    Filmed with:
Panasonic Lumix GH5 protected with Outex Cover
    SIGMA Art 24-70mm F2.8
    GoPro Hero 7 Black
    DJI Mavic Mini

Superb! A suggestion - I think it would be better with 25fps to get more of a cinematographic-feel to the video. It's of course just a personal preference but it might be worth to give it a go.

Thank you very much! I was already considering it for my next video just to see how it feels :)

@@TobiasBeiser great, looking forward to the result then! Remember to switch it on the drone as well. :) I think it will work great for you with these magnificent panoramas and really cool canyons. Looking forward to going to Switzerland to canyon one day!

Until you have a shot in 25fps and then feel the urgent need to slow it down dramtically and regret shooting in 25 fps ;)

Hi guys, what kind of suits did you use?

The key to staying warm is layers. I had a cotton base layer with a 3mm neoprene shirt underneath my 2 piece wetsuit(7mm).
Make sure your suit has a hood or you will start freezing in no time!
Gloves help a lot (3mm should be fine, make sure they have no holes in them).
For your feet use either 5mm socks or 2 pairs with a plastic bag in between. You may need to buy a bigger pair of shoes as your toes need room to move to stay warm.
A rainjacket is a must aswell in my opinion as it protects you from the wind inside a canyon and the waterproof hood keeps water away from your head/face while abseiling inside a waterfall.
