Ive been watching your video's. You got some good stamina. Stechelberg up to the Schilthorn, man that was punishing... watching it, I only walked down that one down.. This walk from Griesalp to Gspaltenhornhutte is one of my favorites, because you walk through so many diffrent landscapes . But not the roundaway walk which you were planning, too bad for that ice slab, you were almost there, but had the mind to Not try it, that would indeed be too dangerous with the ice.
You can also take the same route in summer to Sefinnenfurge, but before that then take another route to Rote Herd!, between the 2 Andrist mountains (tamme und wilde)? I have done this, you can decide to walk down through the wonderfull Spiggengrund valley, but your car will still be sitting at Griesalp, and another 1 in Kiental so I recommend 2 cars with a friend. The top of Chilchflue is very easy to reach during this walk too, just some gravel slope if you still feel fit.
Hi damn badger thank you very much for your support it means a lot to me. Thank you also for this tip, I have some plans for next summer and the for sure I will be done thous route, that's one of my favorite landscape in Berner oberland.
@@goran_ivanov I know the Kiental valley, very well. Gehrihorn is a very cool peak to climb to, and so is the Dreispitz, last part is officialy alpine wanderung, but it does not look to intimidating to me, just a pretty steep 1500m climb from Kiental dorf. Bundstock is also a very beautifull walk from Griesalp, 1300 meter ascent, And you can traverse from there to Bluemlisalphutte, not really scary I thought years ago,.. i'm not an alpine path blue-white-blue hiker myself, I have a little bit fear of heights!.. but short pieces are okay 🙂
Hey, great video! Can I ask which month you recorded this hike? I am planning to go from direction of Mürren, but have concerns about the same part where you had to turn back. Thanks!
