One extra bit of trivia is that the woman with the eye patch is Jeanne Basone, who plays Jane in the 'game' Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. Sometime after making this she seems to have visited a surgeon and had her screen presence enlarged. It's probably just as well the pervy doctor never got to see her new punch bags, or her other eye would have been poked out.
She and a bunch of other celebrity parents including Robin Williams' mom, Dustin Hoffman's dad, and Al Pacino's dad teamed up with Richard Simmons and release two exercise videos aimed at seniors called "Silver Foxes"
That interminable "rap"... good grief. I enjoyed your analysis of this though, and frequently laughed out loud much to the displeasure of my fellow bus passengers.
"And I'm here to say" just brought back lowkey trauma from music lessons in primary school, especially the lesson where all us class dweebs had to wtite an anti bullying rap to perform to the rest of the class (our bullies) ...which only made matters worse obviously... My verse was an upbeat plea for them to let me eat my free school meals cos I was the class poor kid ... "My name is Emma and I'm here to say, please don't flip my dinner tray, or else i can't eat for another day" *cue Beastie Boys b-boy stance* 😅 So C'mon, share with the group, did you have to do shite raps for educational value? What were your "and I'm here to say" highlights?
I managed to endure the Children's Royal Variety Performance vids, the Copycats and Bobby Davro vids... even the Gulf Aid vid.... but 5 mins in and I don't think I can take any more of this EDIT - I did have to listen to Horny Beauty Queen's "rap" a second time though, because that really didn't sound like "the DECK is stacked"
What an unbelievably appalling VHS...a total shocker...I feel dirty just watching the 'highlights'! Kinda wears you down with its incessant, sledgehammer stream of sexism and innuendos. Brilliant commentary as always, though 😄👍🏻
Weird that she was so much more famous in England than in the US. She was a bit of a novelty here, you'd see her name in the tabloids occasionally, but she was far from a household name.
Good stuff Stuart… this video still isn’t as bad as Sly’s ‘Stop Or My Mum Will Shoot’ though! Do you remember ‘Shirley Ghostman’? That had a funny bit about Rumpology in it, it’s taken me a while to accept that it is indeed a ‘thing’…
I can hardly be the first person to wonder what SOMMWS would be like if it featured Stallone’s actual mum, but AI will have earned its place if it can make it happen.
But why does the one woman have an eye patch? I feel like a prequel series that explains their backstories in an MCU style needs to be made so that we can understand their motivations and the reason they were brought together with Sly's mother as a nick furyesque character.
You get the impression that it was either this or go star is some bad adult movie, for the majority of the, 'stars', that appear in this video. The, 'acting', is pretty much on par. The scripts are about as corny as you'd expect for a cheaply made video about the subject in question.
Ahhh! The good ole days when humour was funny! These days the woke, progressive, socialist Nazis would have a fit if you tried this type of humor! Nah I'm just joking, I'm not a total dickhead! 🤣

I have not seen a ring so poorly treated since ....nah I'll leave it there.
This might be the grottiest commercially released video I've ever heard about. This makes Blobby's videos seem not so bad.

Imagine Michaelas birthday for boys video having snippets of this instead of cockroach racing…
11:59 that boom wanging in and out of shot...

Sylvester was probably too busy trying to work out if he could change his name…
best sexy rapping since nathan barley!
Bingeing these vids as I have, I sometimes feel as though Mr Millard lived _my exact childhood experience._
Those impressions are a "spaghetti and meatballs" away from James Quall
The greatest comedian of all time. Check out quall of duty
It is literally a fevered cheese dream put on VHS tape - glorious
I'll never again accuse my mom of embarrassing me.
I'm sure I saw Bob Carolgees a couple of times during the moustache-men clips.
Yes! I thought it was just me 😁
And was that John Craven at 17.06?
I think Bobby Ball was in there too
At 19.00 Carolgees is lovin’ it!?

Man, you’re earning those likes.
*Yeah Brackie*
Brooklyn in the bath is actually the first tv appearance of Lady Gaga.
Love Stuart’s take on the old tv programmes fortunately i didn’t see most of them !

She ended up looking like a latter-day Gaddafi
It’s terrible -
it reminds me of that lousy ‘comedy show’ in Robocop- you know -
the one with the “I’ll buy that for a dollar” man.
God, that pneumonia joke...
If Married With Children became too clever and high brow there was this.
Damn - Jackie should have done the Wrestlerock Rumble
With the Midnight Rockers, Shawn and Marty. Who love to wrestle and love to party.
I'm Greg gagne and I'm in a rage

Have you seen Wonder Showzen? The sketches have a real Horse Apples vibe.
Canned laughter straight out the flinstones brilliant
What song is playing between 0:00 to 1:05?
Rap explained perfectly.
Well done
Another awesome video thanks!!
God this is depressing
Brilliant video.
"She might be looking for someone special" then the next impersonation was like Adam Sandler, or summit.
I like the bit where Hulk Hogan recognises Jackie Stallone entering the house.
Millard's HQ
Oh wow, so that's where Wrestlicious got the idea!

Sorry, *what* Entertainment Group?
PPI Entertainment group, that's where all your money went.

This programme makes British programmes look good
Imagine being so desperate as to find this VHS arousing.
Weird reboot of Blansky's Beauties....
Is this a real VHS?
My girls are beauties
But they're tough
They wanna show you...
Judging by the rest of the segment, I was expecting a different end
The rap is the most embarrassing thing ive ever seen. She obviously has no shame.
Everyone who’s not a rapper thinks that’s rap at 2 minutes!
