The tripping one interrupts and can be great for 50/50s. Lava miko is amazing for pressure and crossups. Its literally so good

her trip assist is literally every single summoner character summons but worse in every way (as in literally uncancellable unlike xrd jack-o and invul)
no it's not, they are only good in the corner
and the assist has a spacing issue to them where it activate on your character not your opponent
From what I've seen, Roboco and Marine are the most popular choices

Can interrupt opponents combos, apply pressure, reset neutral and if used properly can make the opponent have a predictable jump in which you can punish all while making you laugh your ass off. Truly an elite assist.

Agreed, it can both help to defend against a highly agressive opponent by forcing them to get off you for a moment and pressure an opponent that plays too defensively or that is stuck in the corner. You can even use the lava pillar to set up traps and build pressure in the middle of the arena by setting it up then jumping behind the opponent and forcing them to retreat in the lava, effectively creating an artificial corner in the middle of the map that will hurt them if they retreat into it.
Dude I was up against a cracked botan main and miko was my only saving grace against those aggressive players .

This is the best assist. Even if you end up losing, its hirlarious seeing miko wack the other dude on their victory screen 😂
Also, I do think its really funny that because so many Hololive talents do not play fighting games, all they care about is whether they look cool or not. But fighting game players who are analyzing the game deeply will say "no but it has all these good properties and it's one of the best assists, so it doesn't matter if she doesn't look cool we're all gonna pick Miko!"
For what it's worth, it is REALLY freaking good. Unless I'm playing someone like Coco or Botan that fights more from mid or long-range, I'll always pick this one because you can just combo into a low that locks the other guy down and gives you free mixups. You can unironically just do whatever the fuck you want off of Miko and it'll just work, it's insane!
If it makes hwr feel any better, her assists are my favorite _because_ she doesn't look cool. Miko's assists truly embody Hololive as an agency of comedians.

Probably because she felt sad some have a good assists without making them look "dumb" while Miko in both trips herself, for us the fans is great but for her not too much. She can laugh about it because we know how she is but in the end she expected more of a "cool asset"
She's pretty clutch all things considered. Both assissts with her are really useful in a lot of scenarios

Mikos collab is incredibly useful long duration and throws off the opponents guard when you get behind them especially when paired with akiroze
The best assist is good at dealing emotional damage too xD
They're not only arguably best, they're the cutest and funniest (UOH?) assists in the game, at least for me

Miko should be a playable character eventually. Design her moves to make it look like everything is just an accident.
Looks goofy to the untrained eye. But if you play fighting games enough you'll know this assist is actually pretty damn good.

Like Moemon but with Hololive girls. I mean if you managed to add every single one you'd have 75 potential characters. Maybe double that if you make an alt outfit into some kind of second form. That's not a bad start for sure.

imo, there are some imbalance moveset design on characters to fulfill their own meme which is too bad to be erased, and also unlimited combo move exploits were found by community and devs are working on it to remove unlimited combo. Some banlist on moveset or character must be set for any FGC tourney.
Nah as long there community who willing to make it we can get this for FGC like what happen to Sailor Moon S for Super Famicom/SNES the most broken fighting game and still have community who compete to this days, rule must be set but to make rule we need to held competition first to see what can be allowed and need to be ban.

I doubt either of these assists are personal attacks against their respective member and I doubt they are hurt by it or anything

IRL, when u make jokes out of people but people don't laugh, it's a hint that u need to stop that and neutralise things up or u may make another joke which is not downgrade others and funny to everyone.
This whole fan made game is a good thing but sometimes our jokes may be a little bit to much. I know, we just human being but it is a positive thing to make amends.
