I don’t always agree with sticking to a particular squat type since depending on the person they may have long femurs or short torso or maybe both where they are essentially doing good mornings with every back squat. On top of that the way they test a faber test maybe completely different so their toes maybe forward or mid or turned out. This changes what muscles are being worked on. I say do the squat that works the best for the athlete then if you need to adjust then supplement with a second or third workout.
Your undulating periodization scheme looks a lot like wave periodization. Either way having transitions from strength to power to speed or hypertrophy to hybrid hypertrophy/strength to strength should also split along a larger base phase and a final peaking phase. I would also recommend have a deload that’s appropriate to the athlete.
