I started playing the organ when I was 13, and now I'm 54. We've been jamming like this after church for decades. Looks like everybody is finally catching on. I don't know the name of this church, but I hope they keep on rocking for Jesus and rolling for God.
you guy's and doll are jamming. OH!!!!! how I miss after church jam sessions. youtuber's, Don't discourage the 2nd drummer, that's what after church sessions was for around my way. To learn and grow in your gifts and talents, REMEMBER, we all had to start somewhere.
The people hanging around are there, I would think, to compliment the praise band after the service, and they are really enjoying these folks' jamming - Zero self-righteous purveyance and minds open to Christians having a little fun after church! This definitevely shows your church to bear the fruit of God. You are a church rich in the Holy Spirit! So many churches would have somebody or some group of people running up to the stage to to stop this, or forming cliques to go complain to the pastors, or just plain sticking their fingers in their ears. I would bet your church is bringing in YOUNG people, while so many others drive them away in fear of change. And, y'all look really good in your Sunday clothes. STAY HAPPY IN THE LORD!

YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! 😍😍😍 If the churches played funky music like that, I would go more often and pay a separate offering for the band 😆😆. Great session. Much love from Grandma Lola of Bam Bam Kids TV
Hah, it's funny but it sounded like a Pentecostal church the first second I heard it- i use to go to one many years ago- a lot of them hold some of the BEST musicians I've ever heard.. no joke- Once you go to one, it's kindof hard to go to any other kind of church
That church I go to used to play instrumental versions of non-church songs (can't stop by RHCP) a minute before worship and it gave me the motivation to leave for church early. For some reason they stopped doing it.
PeeeUuuu that was a little funky on the good side! Nice little laid back simmer groove! When the organ player gets that little hump in his shoulder it's on! And the lady on the keys dropped in tickling the electric like "Don't tell nobody"... lol
I've seen musicians like that they want to get involved in a jam but you have to have the rhythm in you. Not saying he can't follow the tempo and timing was flowing perfect. Just wait ur turn. You'll soon shine 😁
Woah, I thought it was a black church, my goodness, "play that funky music white boy" and GIRL!!!!!!! yooo, you are on fire !! God is good, all the time !
I wish my church and worship leader let us jam like this. When we're done, the sound goes off and the lights go out. It's odd. We're just a group of people who play different instruments who come in on Sunday, do our thing, and then go our separate ways after service. I die a little inside every week because I miss doing spontaneous jams like this.
That sucks man. We let our guys jam out during offering and at close of service. To me, as the Worship Pastor, I feel the musicians are no different than those singing and deserve some time to be highlighted and worship God as ministry. It's so important.
That's a shame we're churches like that won't let their musicians give God an extra praise, our church used to be like that, but I prayed and God change things around, now, we are the last to leave and we lock up the church and go home. There's no rush, churches, let God move on your musicians, take the limits off.
@@clevelandworshipcenter934 I agree with you brother, some Churches and their sound guys run their sandboards like they are operating off of prepaid cell phone minutes. The minute the pastor says amen, soundboard goes off, lights go out. Sad, SMH. Take the limits off.
I take part play music in church weekly, the afterward service jam always be a joy , its not all about hitting the right chords but the important is Goofy and JOY.
and the lord sayeth "LET THERE BE FUNK" and there was Funk and it was good

this is some pretty Jazzy Funk

I'm not a religious man, but I'd shout "Amen" to that ... any day of the week and twice on Sunday!!!!!! Very, very good sound - those guys can jam.
Brother, Church bassists are just on a whole different level...

You pull my drumsticks like that & we fighting.

0:55 the rhythm in that man is insane! He claps the 13th clave agains a 4/4 beat!!
underrated comment
I was genuinely puzzling as to how he was managing to clap out of time like that. I don't think I could.
You know the jam ends as soon as the second drummer enters the scene.
Tell me about it
And he's off tempo and too UP tempo. GET OFF MY PHONE! :o)
But not so far, he could come back while playing the ride cymbal
LMAOOOO
He blew the whole masterpiece..
I think that they second drummer must be the pastor who used to play the drums and wanted to join them on that groove.
The second drummer*
José David Peña de los Santos 😂😂
My pastor used to be the church bassist, he sometimes jumps up to have a jam after the service.
No he isn’t lol just a dude from another church. (I go here)
I think so too!! :-) :-)

Too funny!!!!
0:53 clapper has no shame, what a pure soul.
I think you mean no rhythm?
Those chops and riffs the keyboard player was playing!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't covet your neighbours drumstick.
Will B right. I understand wanting to play but you just don’t jump in right in the middle.

I could tell by the first few seconds this was a Pentecostal church!
You can tell its pentecostal because all of the women are wearing skirts and dresses, and not wearing any jelwery.(like the Bible says.)
You take that scripture out of context.
Yup, Apostolic Pentecostal buddy :D
I knew it!
Pentecostals know where it’s at when it comes to jammin’! Love this!
