Haha this is so surreal 😆. I’m watching the video because I recognised the brand and it turned out that they were packing the big order for my company’s breakfast event. Love the bakes and your story is so uplifting 💪🏻💪🏻
i stayed at Holland Dr and i visited their stall and had their shio pans, sourdough and curry chicken....amazing menu & tastes the sisters had dished out. i wished them continued success !
I'm doing homebakery business as well, and I understand how tiring it is to work with only one medium size mixer and a one-tray gas oven, your production will be very limited.but these ladies here are working out of it! I can say it is impressive!
Very positive attitude, passionate and hard working. I am sure the sisters will be very successful. Just hope that they will still continue to operate the hawker stall to serve the masses. Not that I have problem with japanese inspired food. Just hope that more youths will continue with more traditional food as they are disapearing...
that's so inspiring. Similarly, I used to run my one man Japanese-style bakery in my home country. I faced the exact same situation of pressure to expand operations. Fortunately for them, two heads are better than one. Gambare!
I’ve tried their shio pan at holland drive since i work ard there, have to say its really good and my favourite is the original! Haha I hope they don’t move out of holland !!
I was at the stall today (Sat). I reached at 9:50am and there is already a snaking line all the way out of the hawker centre. I q for 1 hour and all the sho pans sold out and only cakes left at 10:50am. The next bake will be ready 11:30am. I have to buy brunch home so I bought some cakes and did not get any bread! Most people in line seems willing to continue standing in line for another 40 mins for the next bake. For those who had ate it. Is it really good? The cakes honestly is so-so. Taste wholesome and home made. But nothing special. IMHO.
I’m so impress , would like to go down and try your breads one day. Btw should not cut the onions that way , that is more like crushing not cutting, should use a sharp knife to cut.
yeah, you're right. the butter is obviously Merico (New Zealand) to say it's French is lying to viewers & customers point blank. even Aussie/NZ brand - it's also good but don't say it's French.

Time to use the central kitchen. Turn the recipe into a formula, mass produce, scale up, get economies of scale. Channel of distribution can be achieved with corporation with already existing bread stores. You lose the artisanal soul along the way but you achieve more sales and money.

Everyone is given equal opportunities in s'pore. Those who are willing to work hard will definitely get to enjoy reasonably good wages. On the other hand, there are those who don't take education or work seriously and end up with low wages. They then blame everyone except themselves. This group of people are a burden to the country. 😂😂
Sure. In Singapore you won't do too badly if you're willing to work hard but the unpredictability of life and circumstances can certainly F#$$ with it. You're naive and a fool if you think everyone is given equal opportunities , the real world doesn't work that way, just the fact that you're male/female already meant different opportunities here . You might be joking, but assuming people are just lazy and considering them a burden..is 🙄. Well that's very human, but consider this, You might think you're doing very well for yourself and "better" than some people here... but to some super elites you're a BURDEN.

so basically white bread… y’all know white bread is not exactly satiating and is just trash carbs? would i spend on white bread? nope, i’ll spend on cai fan with fish, meat, egg and veg
Personally, I prefer sour-dough rye breads with soft skin, it is more healthier, tasty and chewy. The Japanese Shio Pan or other soft buns are not healthier at all! People should stop eating these soft buns made in local bakery, these are full of trans-fat, sugar and white carbs!
They don’t need 3 years to succeed. They are featured in CNA Insider….this is a huge success already.

It's more important than ever to support each other. Buying local helps all of us in Singapore thrive. Let’s do this together! 🌟
i love to support local hawkers. will visit them soon
I love japanese breads! I should try this
Admirable. However I worry for them as I have seen many bakeries fold in hawker centres.
Support our young entrepreneur.
5:28 "Tampines" Polytechnic LOL
Yes I would love to try it! So inviting!
Kudos to the sisters! 🎉

The are very smart and talented.
I like salt bun
Sunday off? So nice
Jiayou to all the young hawker entrepreneurs!
Isn't Merico Butter from New Zealand and not France? Where is the French Butter they claim to use???
yeah, you're right. the butter is obviously Merico (New Zealand) to say it's French is lying to viewers & customers point blank. even Aussie/NZ brand - it's also good but don't say it's French.
It may just be an honest mistake. Lying is too strong a word. This is hawker food not fine dinning
5:00 That's called Spanish bread in the Philippines.
Awesome 👍
im coming to buy muahahaha

Baking is a SCIENCE...
So now they have 2 outlets or 1 only but bigger?
looks like 2 outlets with 1 central kitchen
I think it should be 食パン(しょくぱん) or shokupan
