Hiking the Kerry Way, Ireland - Dad and Kids - Killarney to Caherdaniel

- My sons and I spent five days hiking about 50 miles of the Kerry Way, from near its start in Killarney to the seaside village of Caherdaniel. The Kerry Way is Ireland's most famous long-distance trail, a 133 mile long loop around the Iveragh Peninsula in far southwest Ireland.
This was my younger son's first introduction to long-distance hiking (my older son has logged over 500 miles on long-distance trails already). Even though the weather was nasty, we had an amazing time taking in the rugged scenery and endless shades of green that this part of Ireland is known for.

We have a responsibility to get our boys out there! I love this it’s so inspiring. If we want to help our environment and look after ourselves, we must expose our young to nature. Thank you for the video 💪
The boys holding hands made me cry! Beautiful video.
gorgeous shots!
Awesome Video and a very long walk, beauty scenery. Well done and I must do that journey hopefully 2 years time once i get a new knee done. Killarney to Waterville. Thanks for showing stunning video✌🤘
Amazing and great video
A good Dad. Lovey expereince that i am sure they will remember
My wife and I walked it in July. You’ve captured it beautifully.
Oh awesome! Thank you, it's an amazing trail.
Beautiful video, wonderfully captured the landscape
🙏🙏
great video!! I would recommend getting the boys' feet checked because they seem to have flat feet. As someone with this issue who hikes a lot now, i wish my parents did something about it when I was a kid, would have saved me a lot of knee and back problems.
Wow I bet your an amazing dad!
That's sick!
Love this! Amazing job on the music and footage! 😍
Thank you! 💕🙏
my ancestors come from co Kerry: Listowel, killorglin, ballylongford
I see you walked in sneakers. Were they adequate for the wet soggy weather and mud? Not boots?
Yes, we always wear lightweight footwear, way easier to walk in, don't mind a little moisture 😊
