- After riding from Dalat to Nha Trang I took a night bus to Hoi An to make up some ground! Hoi An is a beautiful town in central Vietnam known for it's relaxed atmosphere, lanterns and tailors. With the real world looming ever closer, I thought I would take the opportunity to get myself a tailor-made suit at the world famous YALY couture..

3d?? Really? Times have change.I have had suits made in SE Asia years ago,very good workmanship but materials were low quality back then.I would love to go to Vietnam to give it a try.

Silk & polyester linings should be avoided as they aren't breathable. Cupro/bemberg is the ideal.

The cloth are low standard polyester mix usually made in China. Don't take any notice of the label or description saying 100% wool... they're fake. That's the reality in Vietnam.

how did the suit travel? was it still good when you got back to UK & did they give you anything to store it in
It travelled really well. They gave me the suit in a plastic sleeve, covered in a material suit bag which folded in half. I still had to weeks of riding on my motorbike, so it travelled folded in my backpack on the back of the bike. I just let it hang when I got to hostels. But, yeah back home and it's absolutely perfect.
