I dont get the hate for ghosts. At least there are a few great missions like the antarctica level that you can go back and replay. Vanguard and BO3 are just boring frim start to finish and WW2 literally just has the french spy mission. Also inifnite warfare is a top 5 campaign. Fight me.
I also love infinite warfare, but as I said it's the fact it doesn't feel like call of duty to me, and that the story takes place in a single day which I can't get over, haha.
Bo3 is runner campaign to play cuz of gameplay and being able to pick and customize classes and guns but ghost story way better and has a few missions that are memorable so it’s close for me but I’d have ghost over bo3 slightly because story is the biggest part of campaign and it’s quality
I really enjoyed Modern Warfare 2's campaign. Black Ops 1 I've sadly enjoyed less and less with each playthrough. The plot twist carries the story for me and experiencing it multiple times at this point it kinda loses it's oomph a little bit every subsequent playthrough.
I only play the Campaign, never touch the Multiplayer, too much grind, too much wasted time I could be enjoying many of my other games. I love the Bombastic B-Movie early 2010s and the more polished ones from recent years. But for this reason I only buy the games when they go on sale with at least 60% off. If I'm only playing a third of the game I'm only willing to pay a third the price.
Pretty decent ranking. I disagree with some placements, but pretty respectable. There are some factual errors though. - Cold War (2020) didn't use the new engine introduced with MW 2019. Every game after Cold War does run on the MW 2019 engine (IW 8.0) or an updated version of it. - Hans Zimmer did not write the OST for MW2 (2009) Lorne Balfe did. Hans Zimmmer only did the main theme.
Yeah it's why I played the main theme instead of something like Boneyard. I should have mentioned Lorne Balfe though. Also I think I said that Cold War was on it's own engine created just for that game, not the IW engine. I think it uses a modified black ops 4 engine, but I'd have to double check.

I love Black Ops 1, but I don't hold it as high as I used to. What makes that game's story great is it's twist, which loses it's luster every time I replay it.
I see black ops 3 campaign as treyarch trying to make singleplayer a mode that creates a community to understand the full story just like the zombies community when they discover new Easter eggs. The story is kinda dope at least it's not the typical story you expect from a Call of Duty. I really think it's underrated. Also, I don't understand people that say they didn't understand anything. I mean, yeah it's difficult to understand the full story but even without that if you just see the events you are watching, you are basically killing rogue allies because of an DNI infection because of a dark project of the Cia. Add more lore of the 2065 (which also can be expanded if you use the data vault) and then you just have to read the intro logs. With that it's easy to understand the full story.
Yeah, I also liked how the first letter of each chapter reveals a spoiler, kinda like Dead Space. The story is really good and interesting to me, but it did take me 2 playthroughs and some research to fully understand everything.
I also love Riley, but he just feels like a gimmick selling point more than anything. Definitely the most memorable character of that campaign though, lol.
About the original cod and its expansion pack, the American campaign is heavily based off, or you could say copy-and-pasted, from the mini series Band of Brothers which is a fantastic series along with The Pacific series, And both can be watched on Netflix right now.
I’ll have to disagree with putting the two rebooted Modern Warfares, so high. Their was never any stakes in those games, they had the same plot 3 times with missiles. I think people get hung up on visuals and don’t see they’re badly written.
I just really enjoyed the characters, missions and gameplay. MW3 2023 is where they shit the bed in my opinion. And these games (besides Black Ops) have never been about amazing writing or anything.

Honestly I'd put World at War right behind COD4, not just for the story, gameplay and atmosphere, but for the 4 player co-op. Having a co-op campaign made all the difference, and was the reason we got a zombies mode at all.

Ghosts’ campaign is awesome! It’s not the very best but it is the upper end of the middle. BO3 sucked so badly it’s hard for me to have any campaign below it. Even something as underwhelming as Vanguard.
For a first playthrough, or if you just don't like futuristic COD it is very hard to get into. But once you understand the story it kinda grows on you. Ghost's character's were just boring to me, and no amount of Riley could save it.
ghosts does NOT deserve to be at 18 it was one of the best if not the best campaigns imo it definitely should not be below vanguard and it is criminal it is im not gonna lie
A lot of people seem to enjoy Ghost but I just found the story and characters boring. Vanguard, while having absolutely awful characters, has some fun gameplay mechanics and while the whole "A-Team" concept didn't pan out the way they intended, it was still an interesting take on the campaign.

I really like Infinite Warfare, as a FPS. As a Call Of Duty FPS I absolutely hate it. And as I said in the video, I just can't get over that the story of Infinite takes place only in 1 day, it's more ridiculous than the future setting honestly.

I HATE Mw2 2022 Campaign. The levels are fun but the story is painfully bad. I hate the "twists". I hate the new characters. I hate the boss fight with graves in a tank. I hate the last level slowing down to a snail with the survival crafting gimic to kill the main bad guy. It also has NO stakes. Nothing happens. No one dies. Innocent people are not caught in the way. That campaign is not for me at all.
I still really enjoyed it oddly enough and I definitely feel like I'm in the minority there. I think everyone can collectively agree on MW3 2023 being the absolute worst though.

Ghosts just had a very boring cast of characters and setting for me, and I love the 80s aesthetic in Cold War over BO2's future setting. I know many fans would probably put BO1 and 2 at the very top, but I don't hold them in the same regard. Still great games though! What are your personal top 3?

Yes there isn't like plenty of new features it's still product of the time, the first call of duty but maybe it's nostalgia talking but even CoD2 was downgrade in certain aspects to CoD UO.
MW 2019 is one of the best COD's we've had in years, not even just the campaign but the whole package. Game brought back COD from the brink of collapse. It did however introduce Warzone which I feel has taken over the Campaign now sadly.

I would rank COD 3 above COD 2. The character development between Guzzo and Dixon is amazing. Guzzo goes from the naive/arrogant radioman to this battle hardened, tough soldier while Dixon is always the level headed squad leader where after he dies, he shows that he really did care for Guzzo. The amount of hate that COD 3 gets is criminal.

MW19 and MW2 are incredible games, and as bad as the characters and dialogue were in Vanguard, I still enjoyed the WW2 setting way more than Ghost's.

Over the years they've kinda slipped down the ranks for me as the twist is it's best storytelling moment and after experiencing it more than 10 times it just doesn't hit as hard anymore.

@@BratVaxer BO1 used to be in the top 3, but the campaign loses it's luster once you know what the numbers mean and I was never as big a fan of Woods as everyone else is.
Ghosts to me has some of the least likeable characters in the series, they're vanilla, white bread, very boring which is why despite the confusing nature of BO3 it still goes higher up for me.

Great vid man, my personal 3 favorite call of duty games are, BO2, COD 4: MW, and Advanced Warfare, I have so many memories with those games and still play em wit my home boys to this day. But great list man, deserves more views, but you earned a subcriber in the process.

Ghosts’ campaign is awesome! It’s not the very best but it is the upper end of the middle.
BO3 sucked so badly it’s hard for me to have any campaign below it. Even something as underwhelming as Vanguard.
For a first playthrough, or if you just don't like futuristic COD it is very hard to get into. But once you understand the story it kinda grows on you. Ghost's character's were just boring to me, and no amount of Riley could save it.

A lot of people seem to enjoy Ghost but I just found the story and characters boring. Vanguard, while having absolutely awful characters, has some fun gameplay mechanics and while the whole "A-Team" concept didn't pan out the way they intended, it was still an interesting take on the campaign.

You’d appreciate Cold War more if you’d know they made a well written campaign and it was done 90% all on Zoom call. Performances were all captured through the actors at home in their bathrooms 😂. It’s actually crazy TreyArch manages to make a better game than Sledge and Infinity Ward.

I really like Infinite Warfare, as a FPS. As a Call Of Duty FPS I absolutely hate it. And as I said in the video, I just can't get over that the story of Infinite takes place only in 1 day, it's more ridiculous than the future setting honestly.

Cod 3 best camping and game ever
I HATE Mw2 2022 Campaign. The levels are fun but the story is painfully bad. I hate the "twists". I hate the new characters. I hate the boss fight with graves in a tank. I hate the last level slowing down to a snail with the survival crafting gimic to kill the main bad guy. It also has NO stakes. Nothing happens. No one dies. Innocent people are not caught in the way. That campaign is not for me at all.
I still really enjoyed it oddly enough and I definitely feel like I'm in the minority there. I think everyone can collectively agree on MW3 2023 being the absolute worst though.

MWIII didnt deserve to be 19 that should have been bo3 and Vanguard mwiii isnt great but its better than those two and id say it should have been around 15 .

I've liked Black Ops less and less as I've replayed them sadly. If you asked me like 5 years ago I probably would've ranked them higher.

@Drexxyl it had no plot, terrible optimization, it had absolutely no balls, it was half cutscenes, the betrayl was terrible, they fucked up both of the 2 best villains, there were no memorable locations.

@@Drexxyl I disagree. I mean I know technically it's not it's own game, but it's definitely it's own campaing and I would say it's miles ahead from origal call of duty. Yes there isn't like plenty of new features it's still product of the time, the first call of duty but maybe it's nostalgia talking but even CoD2 was downgrade in certain aspects to CoD UO.

MW 2019 is one of the best COD's we've had in years, not even just the campaign but the whole package. Game brought back COD from the brink of collapse. It did however introduce Warzone which I feel has taken over the Campaign now sadly.

I would rank COD 3 above COD 2. The character development between Guzzo and Dixon is amazing. Guzzo goes from the naive/arrogant radioman to this battle hardened, tough soldier while Dixon is always the level headed squad leader where after he dies, he shows that he really did care for Guzzo. The amount of hate that COD 3 gets is criminal.
I don't HATE COD 3, I just prefer 2 over it, probably a nostalgia thing as 2 was my first COD.
