You are overrating jean sayu is on par with her are even better jean. In furina teams jean does nothing other than give fanfare. As she doesn't have good dmg unlike sayu who scales off em and can do 8k doubles swirls. Plus she continue to do swirls while off-field for sub dps while healing morem
Also sayu has more instances of healing with swirling heal, her initial heal on ult, and the massive heal overtime.

Ever since someone pointed out how Arlecchino, Diluc, and Noelle keep their infusions when they swap characters, it’s just made me realize how they fumbled SO hard by not just letting Cyno have that too so he isn’t forced to stay on-field for the full duration. 😤

If Hoyoverse gives us a off-field turret Dendro support that constantly applies a bunch of Dendro application, then Cyno would be amazing to play. At the moment, the only constant Dendro application is Baizhu, but his Dendro application is not that good for how much Electro is being applied with Cyno.
Baizhu is barely enough for cyno, but cyno got shafted with his high energy and infield time

I pulled Baizhu after Furina's first banner and I'm so glad I did. The fact that he has such a massive teamwide heal on his skill and the cooldown is so short is so comfy in any teams with him. That's something that really sets him apart and it makes teams with extreme HP drain like Furina/Neuvi/etc way more comfortable.

Baizhu reminds me a lot of Zhongli in that he's absolutely a "luxury" unit that no account really *needs* but he's absolutely one of those characters you'll rely on like a crutch. I know I'm not alone in thinking this because every time you see those Abyss usage rate stats (I understand, not perfect), he's consistently within the top 8-10 most units used since his release. Not being reliant on an Elemental Burst to heal and having that refreshable shield just gives him so much more flexibility than most healers that it's hard to put into words.

Glad you didn't miss Baizhu but if you don't want the character on the banner then don't pull, why "build pity" (and waste your guarantee or 50/50 win if you get the random early 5 star) when you could just save your primos for a character you actually want? Don't treat primos like milk thats 1 day from expiring lmao they aren't going anywhere until you decide to use them

@@ChunderThunder1 Well, I just got Linney (in my first 10-pull after Arlecchino) even though I didn't really want him, not because I was "building pity" (which I agree is stupid), but because I wasn't planning on pulling for Baizhu or Wanderer and wanted to finish the 50-pull battle pass goal.
...and now this video is talking me into pulling for Baizhu after all, lol. Oh well, who's to say I would have still gotten the super-early 5* if I'd waited?
It's crazy to me how much people under rate Baizhu, even now. I've seen people unironically saying he does NOTHING better than Yaoyao or Kirara. I've seen others say that Jean is good now because of Furina, but then will say Baizhu is pointless. I don't know what it is about Baizhu but people straight up refuse to acknowledge anything he does well.

@@JelloImpact I think you might be on to something. I've heard a lot of people say "I didn't think I'd use Baizhu that much but now I use him all the time" (this is me, lol) and his usage rates in Abyss are always really high. The people who have Baizhu use him a lot!

Yeah, I have Jean and I can clear the abyss using her, Neuvillette and Furina, but I will pull for Baizhu anyway because I feel he's the best unit for it. Being able to heal all team using only elemental skill is much better than recharge an ultimate do to the same thing. And I can have a free slot to put Kazuha, which helps me to buff and crowd control at the same time.
There's a point to it in the fact that you have to actively pull him whereas standard 5* and 4* just kind of show up. Obviously he does have an edge on those characters, but one or even two full pity's worth? That's where the crux is. Those who like his character should pull him and have no fear of him being a bad investment, but he's not a unit that everybody needs to have for power.
Baizhu is absolutely cracked, I've got him during Furinas banner and he is one of the best investments I've made to my account, not only is he one of the best healers and super easy to build, but being Dendro really just adds so much value to his kit

The most underrated weapon for him is Sacrificial Fragments. When you care only about the healing (Furina), you don't need his burst and Sacrificial Fragments allows him to cast his skill twice on a row (80% chance to reset at R5), most certainly healing the entire team without having to go deep into ER.

Even more than 80% actually, since it’s a multi hit skill. Even if the refresh doesn’t trigger on the first hit, it might trigger on the second or third hit.

One E and his burst is already enough to heal the team and nearly max stack fanfare and you also have the continuous healing from the burst. Two E’s back to back won’t heal much HP since the first E will put you at full anyway. Many teams really want IR from the shield as well. I really reason to run Sac and there’s basically 0 benefits.

I saved over 300 wishes for him as a f2p player for his first banner! I got lucky and got his c2 and weapon, and it's been such an amazing investment. I love him sm, I pulled knowing he wasn't the best (at the time), but now I'm super glad he synergizes with furina!!
THANK YOU he was so underrated on his release, but i instantly found him so fun to play and I’m very happy that people can see his potential too. He is now c4 and clearing abyss as a dps/driver, gonna c6 him soon.
I was disappointed that reran along side Furina because I want him for Cyno. Happy surprise he’s back so early
Baizhu is my favorite Dendro and the char that I most use. He has seen much more spiral abysses than my Nahida, also, I've wandered through Teyvat with him far more times than with another character (Despite Yelan).
Since I got him on 3.6, never stop playing, not a Single run on the abyss was taken without him.
He is the Healer Archon, and I think no one will overshadow him in this role.

Other than the unofficial confirmation elemental skill of Sigewinne, Baizhu is now the only healer who can heal whole team with just his E. Inseparable with Furina.
I hope Sigewinne gets a buff so I won't be forced to get Baizhu.
@@ShevaAlpha2002 "forced" to get Baizhu? your not forced there are many other healers who are good (also with furina jean for example) as long as you can dodge or have decent builds you shouldnt die. dont ever feel forced to pull a char because then you wont really like them and honestly if there are other options (who might not be "the best" but still working and you like them more go for them!) I for example pulled navia and was devestated to now have to pull zhongli or albedo (as her support) I choose to just build my ning I know zhongli or albedo would be better for navia or more comfy but honestly I dont really like either of them that much so i choose to just not do it !!

@@krummelkeks4855 a new account need lots of thing. The easiest way is have 2-3 limited 5 star have good synergy other than 4 star or of banner like Jean and Mona.
C2 Baizhu is absolutely busted. Got him on release and still using him to this day.
He's so fun in overworld, I rarely bring him onfield and yet my team is nonstop healing and leaking dendro 😄

@@ferend4038likely won't be a nuisance ad an on fielder. He's tanky, gives himself IR unlike C0 Neuvillette, and heals.
If we get another burgeon trigger but doesn't shield nor heal, who's honestly be your source of defensive utility? Thoma is a two in one package so he burgeons and shields, but how about a pure burgeon trigger with perhaps offensive utility instead? Like a pyro Raiden would be thr case
I love that at C6 he is one of the comfiest off-field DPS you can get: just have him in your team, don't even switch to him and do something. Have him in the team, hit stuff with any other teammate and every 5 seconds you get a 2.5s shield, 25k dendro damage, 2 dendro applications, 1 team heal and 1 heal for the active character. And imagine that: on top of that, you can actually use him and do even more than that. :')
(The C2 is already nice and carried me through underwater gameplay in Fontaine.)
I love using him on Sac frag. Double team healing and a lot of particles. He charges his burst fastest this way.
I decided to pull on Baizhu's banner alongside the Wanderer's banner. Since i already got Wanderer, I decided to pull for Faruzan cons and luckily got him. Safe to say, he doesn't disappoint because he opens up plenty of teams for me. Very interested to see his potential in the not too distant future!
Baizhu is one of my very favorite characters. No other healer feels as comfy or good to play as him. Plus, the drip, the colors, his sassy snake, love it!
Just a quick note, Kirara and yaoyao don't provide more damage than Baizhu on aggravate teams.
I'm a Keching main and I have heavily tested every single dendro support for her team and Baizhu is by far the best one (other than Nahida).
Picking up the leafs from the sapwood blade or the polearm is unreliable and only buffs one character, while Baizhu can use the hakushing ring that immediately gives 20% DMG to Keching and Fischl which is a bigger buff that can easily be maintained with 100% uptime.
He also should be using instructor on that team, it doesn't matter that you get less total HP because he already heals more than enough and the team generates a lot of particles, the buff from his burst will be lower but it's still worth it because you are getting close to 70% of the max buff on top of what you are getting with instructors and hakushing.
About his burst, a 50k HP Baizhu gives a buff equivalent to the 200 EM from Nahida but it can be better because it scales better with your characters that are already building EM.
So, for reference my Baizhu with instructor and hakushing has 37k HP and 200 ER and I don't feel that I'm missing any stat.
And about gameplay he solves everyone else's issues, Nahida doesn't heal, yaoyao has long cool downs and you need to waste a couple of seconds until she triggers instructors, Kirara spends too much time on field if you need to walk through multiple enemies and their damage or buffs doesn't feel meaningful enough.
Baizhu is the most comfortable option, fits perfectly on the rotations, has really short field time and provides a good amount of damage with all his buffs. It's not a necessary character but with him the team feels a lot better
In many teams Nahida bis weapon is Protype R5 imo. So she kinda heals. in quickbloom or HB teams you are not missing her dmg. Then you can slot a more offensive electro unit or one of my fav spread teams Alhaitham/Beidou/Fischl/Nahi.
I dont mean he is bad ofc. just we have many options.

I swear none of you all have the faintest skill to pull that off, literally i just checked the abyss usage rate, baizhu and zhongli always have high usage rate while nahida sits below 60%.
Hakushing Ring is a good call, I rarely see that recommended on with him on an aggravate team...I gotta look into that. I use Fav but I don't build crit on him at all so it's kinda wasted
He is extremely useful because he heals consistently every party member with his elementary skill, which has a short cooldown and , obviously, does not cost any energy. This is very good against enemies who sucks energy, like Vishaps, or in any situation where there is not enough energy at disposal.
So underrated.
My Baizhu is on sac frag and I will never switch him off of it. The extra sprite makes such a difference to me.

Sac Jade is his BiS with c2/c6 if you skip burst (better than has sig even). Also, it does give more hp than pamber if you refine it.
He is just so comfy to play, it's like with zhongli you forgot how to dodge, with baizhu you forgot how to die lol
When Baizhu first released, I remember that everyone was playing HSR because it just released. Meanwhile, I stuck to Genshin and got Baizhu super early, for some reason I even got 2 Baizhus in 1 multi and immediately had him on C1, which is pretty cool and really helps me with the energy requirements. In retrospect, I dont think I wouldve pulled for this con otherwise, so that's some nice "Free" value.

One thing I feel like people definitely undervalue is Kokomi’s hydro app and healing on just her E. A well built Kokomi can easily heal 7-8k if not more (which is more than enough to heal 90% of the time in Furina teams when you’re swapping around teammates) and she has 100% uptime on her healing and her hydro app which is great. Just felt worth mentioning because that wasn’t really talked about in the video.

You don't need to keep swapping between your characters to reach max fanfare stacks with offield kokomi , prototype R5 alone on kokomi can give you around 200 stacks since it's healing gets giga buffed by kokomi's passive/ Healing bonus circlet and furina's healing buff , and you get the rest of the stacks just with your jellyfish's Healing , there is no need to keep swapping

Diona should be much higher up since she is often the key component of speedrunning with melt teams. With c6 and Elegy it is absolutely ridiculous.
And because the EM buff is so high she is great in dendo teams too.
And with very high investment you can even use her hold E as one of the nuke in a melt team.
One of the first teams I cleared the Abyss with was Baizhu / Furina / Shinobu / Xingquo. Currently that group has been remade to Neuvillette / Furina / Baizhu / Kazuha, and it's just so monstrously strong.
I feel like there's a big difference in healing quality if it's from skill vs burst, and if it's circle impact or follows. Controller you can't burst and switch so might end up wiping an abyss run if they're burst based. Then if you have no energy, but really needed that heal, you're SOL until you battery enough. Once the abyss debuffs of skill time increase and energy drain appear again, we'll see how we feel about these healers lol.

@@-dataexpunged-9243the point he was making is that the value of a healer depends on whether their heals follow or is circle impact, or whether it is from a skill or afrom a burst. Because controllers can't burst-swap, you might as well reset a run in the instance that you were on a lifeline.
A skill-based healer is multi-platform compatible and immediate and isn't dependent on energy like burst-dependent healers

Not at c6 u wont. Onfield dps or offield, or as support he is top tier.
However with proper investments and proper builds any character can be top teir.
This is why I enjoy Genshin so much!
@@SypherSeven Nobody cares about C6. Most people don't even have a C0 Baizhu, which is why Hoyo is rushing him to the chronicled banner.

I was going for a 4 star and got him at 30 pity on his first banner and my biggest flex is having him built before furina even came out so I was one of those that was like I TOLD YOU HE WAS GOOD
I pulled for Baizhu from his release and never regretted it. He's been a big help in my team comps even before Furina
I use Yae with Golden Troupe on the Neuvi/Baizhu/Furina team and its loads of fun, if you havent tried it I highly encourage it
I'm farming Navia's set since the release.. I am SO HAPPY that the song of day past set is good on him since i am billions of pieces 😅😅

15:25 Diona c6 is actually "best in slot" in some comps. Specifically in double cryo forward melt teams e.g. Gaming (all 4star team circlest impact: Bennet, Gaming, Rosaria, Diona) or to some extent Arlecchino+C6Kaeya&C6Diona. For reference watch Zajeff's post release analysis about gaming and arlecchino (this is just to say I'm not pulling this out of my behind 😂 ).
tbf before Gaming and Arlecchino, Diona didn't really have a good spot in the meta, since all other pyro characters then wants reverse vap cause of pyro application shenanigans except to some extent Diluc... but one big problem with Diluc, his multipliers are just not that good (and his kit which actually have good multiplier needs a frame tight tech which only hardcore diluc mains are willing to do). Gaming and Arlecchino actually have good multipliers (and low enough pyro app) hence having that 2x multiplier is really beneficial (plus c6 diona gives 200 EM, and 4pc instructor or 4pc noblesse she actually has more value now albeit in really specific teammates/teamcomps)
Jean is underrated. Favorite healer even against limited 5 stars bc the constant element removal, anemo shred, dmg reduction, amazing battery w/ fav, massive heal even when built for dmg, and VV shred AT THE SAME TIME. Nonr of that is pick and choose she does everything. And sunfire teams too

Hey Jello I have a quick question (others can also answer) I plan to use Cyno with his sig weapon r1 , Furina wit r5 fleuve cendre, Nahida with sac frag r1 and Baizhu with prototype amber r3. all of them are lvl.90 and cyno has gilded furina golden troupe nahida deepwood and baizhu has 2-pc millelith and 2-pc voeukasha. My question would be how should the rotation of the team be like which e and burst do i first use (all chars are c0)

Hey Jello, would you ever consider doing a “best constellation” tier list? Like maybe ranking Neuv c1 vs Xiangling c4 vs Faruzan c6 in terms of best money-wise/impact-wise/flexibility-wise. It just seems like an interesting video to watch and I haven’t seen any content creators really do one but I may have just missed
Great vid. I liked that you focused on how comfy and easy he is to play and slot into teams.
As a dedicated and totally not biased Baizhu main, some other comments I'd like to make:
- I agree about the potential for Baizhu (and healers in general) to get powercrept in some of his roles, especially in non-speedrunning (non-C2Zhu) Neuvillette teams. He isn't providing much to those teams besides healing, like his buff and dendro app barely matter and Neuvillette doesn't even need the healing that much (imagine a healer that only heals off field units!) They were very reluctant to release 5* healers for a time after Kokomi so we only had her as a benchmark. At the same time, just the pure fact that he provides multiple different things I think helps in his jack-of-all-trades role. Like you say, it's not like he's even a must pull for any team right now, and yet you still recommend him, and I think part of that is because he can be a serviceable healer in a lot of different team archetypes. That versatility can't really be taken away by making more archetypal/niche healers, especially as a lot of people prefer not to pull for a bunch of healers.
- Also, I'm curious why you say Raiden/Yae aggravate is cope. I always run this and honestly I know it's not the standard aggravate team but I think it's fun.
- Totally agree about his cons being better than his weapons. There's no need to bother with his weapon until C6. It's just... blatantly a C6 weapon that synergizes with his C6 perfectly by restoring more energy than it does at lower cons and buffing his own damage. And it's specifically for hybrid builds that still want to build HP while also focusing on his damage. So please guys, use Prototype Amber.
I can't take it anymore. I'll never get sick of Baizhu. I try to play Alhaitham, Baizhu can heal me. I try to play Furina, Baizhu can heal me. I try to play Tighnari, Cyno - Baizhu can heal me. He takes me by the wrist to check my pulse. I forage for him. I craft five copies of Prototype Amber for him. He's satisfied. "This gives me a good amount of both HP and energy" he says. "I don't need any field time to full heal your entire team." I want to pull the Jadefall's Splendor but I can't, I don't have enough primogems. He shakes his head gently and puts my credit card away to be used on something more important. "This is not the end. You're taking a turn for the better." There is no hint of malice in Changsheng's eyes. Nothing but pure, instant, teamwide healing with no circle impact or energy hunting. What a kind world.
I had a ton of wishes saved for Baizhu, but ended up quitting the game before his initial release, and not remembering to log on and get him.
I've now started playing again, and have a lot of wishes due to clearing all of Fontaine (the ones I initially had saved up disappeared on Xianyun and Arlecchino banners).
The video mentions Baizhu not being technically the best healer for Nilou teams, which was originally one of the main teams I wanted him for other than just liking his design. So I was wondering who is the best for Nilou teams? Is it still Kokomi? Or is it Yaoyao?
Would Baizhu or Kokomi be a better on field driver for a hyperbloom comp? (I do have Raiden, Nahida, YaoYao, XQ but no yelan or kuki yet) I was going to pull kokomi for my onfield hyperbloom driver as a comfort pick, but which of these two would be a better pull for this role? (I do also have neuv [Currently using Neuv, kaz, yaoyao, deyha])
I've had him C1R1 since release. Best decision ever. He is now C2 and triple crowned just for the hell of it. My boy deserves every single crown istg. By far my best healer, was stupid easy to build and I literally drag him everywhere because he is just that useful.
Wrong info at 1:12: Yaoyao is a single target healer with her skill, but a team-wide healer with her burst!
Of all archetypes, Healers and Shielders are the most of interest to me for co-op. If I'm not entirely sure what to bring for survivability, I pop in my C6 Diona. Sharing shields, healing and buffs with her burst, and ranged attacks for coverage.
Getting Baizhu's burst is never an issue if you have his weapon

I got baizhu on release and lucked out on c1. I wanted his weapon, but I got the amos' bow. When Furina came out, I got him c2 after losing the 50/50 to Mona. I'm telling you, getting him at c2 is one of the best constellations imo, and it increases his off field dendro damage output. I personally have him on prototype amber but if I had it in me, I'd get his weapon because I really like him.
Baizhu brings utility like Kazuha. I am running Sacrificial Jade with Deepwood and I get his burst on time since I run double dendro hyperbloom.
I use a 2p Maiden and 2p Tenacity. With no extra bonuses, I get 18k heal skill. My highest heal with all the buffs was 31k skill.
I saved so many primos over all 3 runs of his banner and was able to c6 him on the final one. And his weapon, r1 on the 1st release.

Baizhu aged really well, he's great in so many teams. Wrio burnmelt, cyno/alhaitham quickbloom, nilou bloom, and for this abyss, i found that baizhu furina xiangling kazuha works wonders for the second half. Comfy and clears fast. Xiangling's ER requirements might be a bit tricky but i get by with xiphos R3 on kazuha (he has 750 em), fav on baizhu and 200 ER on xiangling.

charlotte is such an awesome furina option, i gave her prototype amber and she full heals everyone and even clears the bond of life i have on ayaka because of the fontaine craftable
...too bad i cant find a use for her outside of ayaka furina freeze
I have C0 Neuvi with no shielder in my account, should I pull for Baizhu or wait and pair him with Furina?
I use Baizhu on my Wriothesley Burn/Melt with Dehya as the pyro source, and Kazuha for the amazing swirls. He carries TTDS and is used just before swapping to Wrio for the damage. The low dendro application pairs well with Dehya's slow pyro coordinated attacks, and the Burning fills most of the time in between...which is perfect for Wrio's Cryo melt.

is kazuha a perfect teamate for baizhu? fills the aoe need, gets enemies close enough for the application, buffs EM for reactions
I got a copy of Baizhu on release bc I needed more Dendro characters, and found his ER just awful to try to reach for my Cyno team even with SacFrag. But then on his rerun w/ Furina I got his C1 and his weapon while getting Furina and hers, and those 2 plus Cyno have created such a damn powerful core that they're a go-to Abyss team. I don't have Nahida and she's not a priority for me, so Baizhu really is my all-rounder for Dendro alongside Yaoyao. I truly think his C1 is one of the best 5☆ quality of life increases there is for a C1, since 2 uses of his skill can and will heal your entire team with ease, and if you aren't tied to SacFrag to get that bonus then his weapon options open up tremendously. He's rough at low investment but high investment, he's a core character for my account.
The Neu, Furina, Kazuha, Baizhu team is my go to for comfortable play. Tons of sustain, hard to die, plenty of damage, just good stuff.
Wonder where Sigewienne well go on this list. Since she also has a skill that heals the team like Baizhu. As the leaks go now she will probably go tier two if nothing changes.
i got him in a ten pull, and he's so nice to use. almost every abyss he's part of a team I try out. loved him also in my hu tao team, before I got xiangyun (and felt like a hu tao fraud because nobody was talking about it)
If I would want to do a team with Wriothesley + Bennet + Thomas and some dendro character, is Baizu worth over Yaoyao?
I pulled him all the way to C2 on his launch, I’ve wanted him since 1.0 and he was well worth the wait.
Since I build a spread team which is Nahida + Tighnari or Alhaitham. So for my account, Baizhu feels a little redundant to pull and my second team would be other element damage rather than dendro but still he can be used in as a healer in Aggravate team so i might skip him for now. And just to note that the upcoming Sigewinne seems to have teamwide healing ability with her E skill as well so she's more attractive to me if you consider comfy healing.

[4:10] Cyno _"needs"_ C2 Baizhu in order to not need Nahida, as then Dendro gets automagically applied every 5s even with Baizhu still off-field.

I'd say Baizhu's value drastically increases on your account if you have either Furina teams that need a healer or Dendro Teams hat want his kit. But I'd say-prioritize furina? She's currently more busted anyways and works even with jean
I would argue Fruit of Fulfillment is also a good catalyst for Baizhu. It provides a generous amount of ER, and trades ATK for EM. It's really nice for Baizhu in teams where he's the one triggering reactions such as bloom or burning. It also buffs his personal damage in quicken teams. Yes, you'll lose out a little in terms of his A4 buffing potential, but you do not need to push to 50k HP. 40k or even 30k is enough, especially if you have is c2 where you can start building him as a hybrid sub dps/healer.

That's actually my exact team and yess it's rly fun. I agree, rarely any energy problems, easy rotation, and Baizhu's shield + Beidou's shield provide ample stagger resist. Idk I feel like Jello sleeps on quickbloom Cyno. 😔😔
As a C0R2 Baizhu haver, he is really good at what he does and when Furina came, he's playability ramped up and became the staple healer for Furina team comps.
(Yes, i got 2 copies of his weapon on Furina weapon banner and got short on primos and didnt get her signature weapon)
Baizhu was my first 5* and he was a LIFESAVER for me early game
If u are guarannted u have to decide which is better Baizhu C0 or Furina C1(maybe c2 coz of savings). You don't need extra healng than Neuvillette by himself to maximize Furina ultimate and that's it.
I have Charlotte C6 and Xianyun C0 (and Kuki C2, YaoYao C0, Diona C4).
And recently i decided to hyperinvest in Nevi-Furina team to let me play anything i want on the second side (like my girl Dehya)
So i have Nevi C1R1 and planning to get C1 for Furina C0R0(fishing sword).
My current team was Nevi Furina Kazuha and Zhongli.
And i want to make it stronger.
Charlotte feels clunky (atleast her holdE) and while getting more Fanfares and more Furina's damage i'm losing out Res Shred from Zhongli.
And Xianyun has to much field time and her Q don't give anything to team except from healing, while Kazuha is Kazuha, u know.
So i am wondering, should i go Baizhu OR maybe C2 Furina instead of C1 to get more fanfares just from Nevi selfdrain-selfheal?
C2 is big because it procs tenacity and you can now take full advantage of the 4 piece tenacity set
I pulled Baizhu with Furina (in the 4.2 banner) and I love him & He got me through the abbyss for so long and is such a Chameleon.
here's why:
1. You can use him as a DPS/Offense with someone like Yae Miko and they got me through the abbyss for so long. I gave him ATK% and Crit and he did the damn job immaculately. You may think otherwise, BUT TRY IT. (I even used him MORE than Nahida). He can heal and do good dmg...depending on his build.
2. He can be a Shielder in any team instead of Zhongli & can be used as a healer with Furina and Hyperbloom teams too. with a different build.
3. His Artifacts and Upgrade mats are easy to farm and he doesn't need his signature weapon to shine, depending on how u build him, can pretty much use ANY weapon. IS HE F2P FRIENDLY? F yes.
I don't think people give him enough credit. 100% would pull him had I not.

It's funny because I never paid much attention to meta and simply pulled most of my characters based on how much I liked them as characters/based on story, and I started playing on Baizhu's first banner, and REALLY wanted him ( green is my favorite character, I love snakes, and I love healer/doctoring characters), but... didn't have enough luck to pull his character before his banner ended. And then, I skipped his first re-run because I was on a guaranteed, and I wanted to save it for Raiden (made it a personal goal to get all the Archons due to... lore reasons, but I find them very interesting as characters!) so resigned myself to waiting possibly a year for his second rerun, but now! I have another chance!
I'm a bit stuck since I also want to pull for Furina whenever she reruns, but... I have saved enough to make an attempt at least and hope/pray for 50/50 kindness,. TT_TT
