A few days ago I had the pleasure to meet this entire family at the local fairbanks post office! It made my day .Thanks for taking the time to meet my Dear Jimmy.Peace From Miss Bree
I'm not too far from you all. I'm here in Trapper Creek Alaska. You'd go through my tiny town if you'd be headed to Wasilla or Anchorage going south on the Parks highway. It was nice to see you and your Jimmy. My little sister's Fathers name is Gill. She has never met him. He doesn't even know that he has a daughter from my mother. His name is John Charles Gill. My mom met him in California while he was off ship from a fishing boat he was working on. The fishing boat's name is The Princess.
I have a passport, on my second one😊 got it just in case… was then able to travel to Costa Rica, river cruise Prague to Paris and now I have plans to travel to the Netherlands, UK, Norway, Iceland, Scotland, Bahamas, Portugal, Spain and Italy. Loving exploring!
The world is a huge place full of different cultures and the best way to educate your children is to expose them to people who think and live differently than you. I’v had a passport as long as I can remember, my first international trip was to Japan and The Philippines when I was 8.
Good to see ya Bert!! Garret is quite the animated chef!! Lol!!! Audrey looked awesome in her passport photo...just like the dmv shots, they don't usually come out that well..her's did!! Yup,those p/p's are good to have at the ready.. Thanks for sharing your adventures...n ... Miss Jess, you are not a ( L ) on your forehead..!! Sometimes one just forgets!! It's about being a 5 fingered being aka[ human]!! A great Easter to all, stay safe and stay happy peoples!! 👍🐰🐺🧙♂️🐰👍
Passport is the most important identification document for me😝 that’s why I always make sure that it’s always current and ready!😝 Oh wow Garett you are soo cute with Spam cooking😆
That yoga class looked kind of fun. I've done yoga, step arobics, jogging, & ballet on toe. But that was in my younger days. The most challenging? Ballet. The most fun. Step arobics. Now I'm older I have a hard time just trying to walk on a treadmill on a regular basis.
I've had a passport since we emigrated to Canada, I was 2. I never let it expire, plus I've travelled a lot. Love Garrett's tutorial. He is so cute. You're all awesome!
Got our passports almost 10 years ago for a Caribbean cruise that my daughter danced on. Since then we did 3 additional Caribbean cruises and holidays in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Disneyland, and Mexico. We are from Canada. LOVED our cruises and Dominican trip.
Ours ran out last year so now we have to renew them. We used them to go to Canada and several years ago to go to Switzerland, Austria, ltaly, France, and Germany. Best trip we ever took and we had many.
To answer Jessica’s question 🥰 Oh there are so many places I would like to fly to... I think Greece would be first. The white buildings and the beach just looks so beautiful! 🥰
Stretching is great but Yoga in Hindu means yoked together. And it opens spiritual doors to their little g Demi gods in the poses. Namaste is Sanskrit means “ I bow to you”. The Devine in me bows to the Devine in you.
I got my first passport when I was 19 and have never let it expire. I turn 64 next week. I have a very firm wish to travel to Paris, Prague and Budapest. I would be so excited if I had a chance to met you ALL! 😊 Happy Easter.
Garrett it's gotten so big I've been watching your place I can't believe it since he was a baby love you guys and stay warm we're trying it's 22° right now and 15 feet of snow now weather is weird gold hard for couple days but we had a white out if we had two or three days of sun but low temperatures sounds like we got your weather now😅😅😅😅❤❤
I have had a passport for ever! I love to travel to the Caribbean during our long Canadian winters! Thanks for sharing your life and energy with us! 🏝🏖❤❤❤🏝🏖
We are hoping to go on a pilgrimage to holy sites in Europe in 2024. A pilgrimage is always a good way to get out of the country. :). Have a blessed Easter!
Always a good idea to have a passport. Used mine all over Europe. I have on my bucket list to drive to Alaska someday , so yes you need one to get into Canada, didn't used to when I was a kid, yeah , I'm dating myself. Our family went to New Zealand in 2006. That was incredible. If I could go overseas again I would go to The UK.
Y’all’s pictures look so adorable. We had passports when we went to Germany 🇩🇪 back in 1991. If I had a passport today I would love to go back to Germany. You never know when they might come in handy. Have a Blessed Easter.🐰🐇💐
I love your family. As a family we got passports years ago. We lived in Pennsylvania and were 3 hours from Niagara Falls the American and Canadian side. We visited there several times and if we had people from other parts of the country they would enjoy a visit there. My husband traveled to England for work twice. It was nice to have as a just in case for travel.
The beautiful baby is growing so precious Olivia!!! I would live in Alaska myself but getting older so I just enjoy Somers family with everyone else Happy Easter to all of you
I got my passport in 2000 and I've travelled to Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Peru. I love traveling internationally but haven't been out of the country for several years. I took a cruise to Alaska last September and would have preferred to do a driving tour instead. What I saw of Alaska was absolutely amazing! I loved the Happy Peoples fan! Great job Garrett for the tutorial! Love your family.
We got our passports back in 2010. We were scheduled to do a mission trip to Haiti with our youth group. A week before the trip, the huge earthquake hit. It turned into more of a rescue mission and needed the men from the church to go instead. Later, we all got to go to Belize and helped build a much needed medical center in a small town called 8 mile. It was so rewarding to serve the Lord that way.
I live in Northern Utah and the snow is not stopping here either. We have reached a high of over 800 inches of snow and it keeps coming. We are preparing for severe flooding.
I used to have a passport many years ago. I used to live in Spain at one time. Also my husband and I went to Guatemala in 1995 to meet the little girl that we sponsor and it was a lovely trip. We are now on our fourth sponsored child. I really love your videos! Happy Easter!!!
I sponsor a little girl from Guatemala too. I was going to GA on a missions trip and could've met her but compassion international stopped visits due to covid 😢
My husband and I got passports to come to Alaska in 2019 because the trip involved a couple of stops in Canada. I found your channel a few months before the trip because I was searching You-Tube for all things Alaska. The other channels I watched went by the wayside, but I became a “Happy People!” We share similar values and faith, and it is a joy to watch such a joyous family who serve God together in wonderful ways! Blessings from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Come see us!
Hello happy peoples! About the yoga... I just want to suggest you look into the origins of yoga. As a Christian you'll probably want to forgo participating in it after you find out the origin and what the practice is really all about. No offense intended, I just thought you being a Christian you would want to know. Love your family and your videos! 🙂❤️
Learning about traditions and cultures of other people, even other beliefs, doesn't make you less Christian. It makes you more human. There are many, many customs that cross different cultures and religions, everything from different things we eat and drink to different form of even the most basic exercising can be traced back to worshipping of different religions and cultures. You can't say "no offense, but you should know as a Christian" is absolutely offensive. You're trying to police how they practice or what they would even consider practicing and setting a predecent that if they do do this, YOU would judge them for not being "Christian" enough (as though that is even your duty to judge another's Christianity).
Kim K, I was thinking the same thing. Not being judgemental, but knowing what they do during some yoga classes just goes against our Christian beliefs. As to the comment for the other person, we absolutely aren't to judge those who are not Christians, but judging each other is not wrong. People take "judge not, lest you be judged" out of context. We aren't to judge by outward appearance, but judge by our actions. WE ALL JUDGE!!! Anyway, I agree with you. Looking into what the belief is that is attached to yoga is important. BUT, just because Jessica did it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the exercise....just the other meditation and stuff attached to it is wrong.
Yes I have a passport for years. I live in the United States. I went to Ireland in 2014, around Europe in 2018, around Europe again in 2022, and will be going to the Maldives this December. I love travel!
Great video as always kid's. Our weather here in missouri has been crazy as well. Day before yesterday it was 90 yesterday cold today upper 50's possible frost tonight. Garrett good job with the spam. When my late husband and I was first married in 70 we had spam alot. We left it Unsliced and put pineapple and brown sugar on top and baked it. Still like spam. Happy Easter kid's.
I would go to Ireland, Germany, and Europe as a whole. Pro tip my dad taught me for getting span out is running water on it. The water helps push it up and slide out.
I think we’ve found a new segment: Cooking with Garrett. Great tutorial. Also if I could travel anywhere it would be Ireland. My Great Grandma was from Ireland and I would love to see where my family lived 😊
I have my passport. I was 59 years old when it arrived in the mail just in time for My 1st and only international trip was in March of 2020 to Thailand. 3 days in Bangkok then to South to Pattaya area for Sailing school. Which took me to even more adventure. I flew out of Chicago To Tokyo to Get to Bangkok. I flew right over your area! My head was screaming "Hello Happy People" Chased the sunset! Flew back through Toyko and San Francisco to get to Chicago than drove back to California, Missouri the world was/had shut down by the time I got home. Epic!! Amazing adventure!! Thanks for listening! Back to the video! 👏👏 Garrett! 👍👍
Living on the border, we are required to have passports to cross into Mexico. I hear its also required when crossing into Canada. Having a passport is actually a wonderful form of Identification, especially for children in this day and age. Its good to be careful!! Love Garrett's Cooking tutorial!! Keep up the Great Work!! Now he can join the A & E cooking show! Love and Hugs sent to you all! Ps: I would probably be just as emotional seeing you all!! You have avery special and beautiful family!! Be Very Blessed!!❤ Take care!!
Hello! I have a passport. In fact, I just renewed it for a mission trip this summer… I’ll be going to Romania, first time there- it should be exciting. I love travel 🧡
I got my first passport as a teenager and have had one ever since. I love the passport card too which is a second government issue photo id (needed after 09/11!) In times of heightened security, you need two forms of government issued id and the passport along with your drivers license fulfills that.
You might laugh but we here in the Bay Area are freezing!!! Earthquakes, storms, floods, trees down, houses sliding of hill sides. A season not to be forgotten not to mention Lake Tahoe! We will ski until next winter.
My husband and I adopted our granddaughter, When she was just two she went through cancer at the age of three. When she beat this brain and spinal cancer, we got our passports. We were to go to Mexico with some friends that are from there unfortunately before the planning was set her cancer returned , she beat it again Unfortunately, our passports have expired this was in 2015. She is still cancer free, but haven’t been able to afford to travel since. We love watching your Channel. We love your family and so glad you’ve gotten to experience adopting. It is so rewarding.
I just made sure that I got my passport a month ago since the rest of my family has theirs. I feel that it's best in these unprecedented times to have one because we never know what the future holds and if we would have to leave the country ASAP. Garret is maturing so fast! God bless you all. It is a blessing to watch you grow over the years!
I especially ill dons it funny thst you’d lead people to believe that the last place you want to leave is alaska. Lol That’s the safest place in the word. I guess you could go over to canada. Dude; When it’s time, it’s time.
I have had a passport all my life. To know you can go anywhere is a wonderful feeling. Seeing other countries and cultures. Even if you want to just go into Cananda or Mexico now you need a passport. It's always good to have. ❤
No, never done yoga and never will. As a Christian i suggest you looking into the origins of yoga. It's not just exercise and stretching. Each pose has a meaning. But seriously look into the origins of yoga.
I can’t think of a family that are a better example of how Jesus taught us how to live with love, kindness and tolerance. Wearing a cross is not enough in itself to make you a Christian and using yoga based poses as form of exercise is not some form of heresy.
Great video, all you guys!! 😆😆 I would go to the Maldives and stay in one of those over the water bungalows with a sliding board. Happy Easter happy people!!
You should look up yoga. As a follower of Christ we should not be participating in or promoting activities that worship other gods. It would be equivalent to have budda or other worship items. The whole point of yoga is to open your body to allow spirits to enter your body. For someone who isnm with God we shouldn't be practicing other religions. For people who don't know God we shouldn't be teaching them to follow other religions.
As a Christian I say this in love: please look into what yoga is actually about and what it stands for. I’f you actually do your research you will find it is not something you should be partaking of as a child of God. God bless all of you.
All of you need to be less judgemental about things that you clearly don't want to understand. Like many things , it has clearly been tainted by somebody wanting to tarnish it. And all of your comments are showing that you are Christian's that are very narrow-minded and disapprove of things that you do not like. That is not following in Jesus' footsteps. That is far closer to being a Pharisee.
Please stop putting up hate comments about yoga! All that shows is that you are very narrow-minded and judgmental people, who clearly do not understand the practice of doing yoga. Simply because it may come from a part of the world that you do not understand nor wish to understand. There are many ways to practice yogo, most in North America are simply run as a simple gentle stretching type of class. All of you need to sit and think about what it means to follow in Jesus footsteps, because clearly none of you are.
As a Christian yoga is not a good thing to be doing...it is an eastern religious practice that opens your mind to things that are not of God...worship of self etc...not a criticism but I strongly suggest you read about it...😢
all depends on how it is done -- just the exercise -- i feel that is okay -- movement and meditation -- that would be a different story -- seemed to me they were just exercising
@@emmib1388 When there are so many good exercise options available, I would choose any of them, than practice anything to do with the mysticism of yoga.
@@Set-Apart-By-Grace and that would be your choice..while others enjoy the benefits of yoga stretching..... Isn't it great that we have choices in life? 🙂
A few days ago I had the pleasure to meet this entire family at the local fairbanks post office! It made my day .Thanks for taking the time to meet my Dear Jimmy.Peace From Miss Bree

"Spitfire Airplane" Boy got it down! Love it
I live in Northern Utah and the snow is not stopping here either. We have reached a high of over 800 inches of snow and it keeps coming. We are preparing for severe flooding.
The various lakes and other water supplies in California are all now full after decades of semi-drought. "It must be global warming".

Hello Happy People!
Hello!! :)
Have a wonderful Easter I like your log
Garrett just showed me how to get spam out of the can without messing it up with a fork, thank you Garrett great job. Beautiful family
Suomi I 'd go.
I always use a butter knife. It won't mangle it like with a fork. I have to say that my Spam slices for frying are a litter thicker than Garrett's.
I stab the bottom with an old knife or an thin screwdriver I bought specifically for soap cans. I poked the bottom and it falls right out.
I think we’ve found a new segment: Cooking with Garrett. Great tutorial. Also if I could travel anywhere it would be Ireland. My Great Grandma was from Ireland and I would love to see where my family lived 😊

When it’s time, it’s time.
Happy Easter 🐣🐰🐇 to all family friends
You should check out on the Christian side about Yoga..you might not want to do it!
I have had a passport all my life. To know you can go anywhere is a wonderful feeling. Seeing other countries and cultures. Even if you want to just go into Cananda or Mexico now you need a passport. It's always good to have. ❤
Each yoga move is worship to a Hindu god.
Great job Garrett! I never could spam out without messing it up. You guys are awesome.
Garrett is so precious!!! 🥰 My son is gonna love this video!!! 👏
Hi Anna! Your son is precious too:) I hope your family is well!
You never know when you need a passport. Always be prepared for the unexpected.
Hi Happy People. Happy Easter everyone. God bless everyone
As a Christian I say this in love: please look into what yoga is actually about and what it stands for. I’f you actually do your research you will find it is not something you should be partaking of as a child of God. God bless all of you.
Doreen virtue and Allie Beth stuckey have done some great explain ing about this! ❤
Spencer Smith has done some excellent documentaries. Thrid Adam explains it well.
I so agree with you. Yoga is more than what people think. Definitely not something that is for a child of God. Sending love to you in Alaska
Thank you for saying this. A lot of Christians are participating in new age practices like this without realizing the effects of it
Every Alaskan knows how to fry Spam....its really good. Thank you for the tutorial.
All of you need to sit and think about what it means to follow in Jesus footsteps, because clearly none of you are.
agree IMO there is a difference between stretching exercises and doing it along with meditation...clearly this was just an exercise event
Yes, we’ve had our passports for a really long time. We travel internationally and we love it
Please do not do Yoga as a Christian. Please read up about the origins of Yoga. Please don't go again.
Garrett, great job!! Looking forward to watching more tutorials.
As a Christian yoga is not a good thing to be doing...it is an eastern religious practice that opens your mind to things that are not of God...worship of self etc...not a criticism but I strongly suggest you read about it...😢
Back to Switzerland.. I loved it when I lived there for 5 years….
Been all over the world❤
Ah, no....yoga?
...it's not "just" exercise. As a Christian, I would never get involved with yoga. 😐
all depends on how it is done -- just the exercise -- i feel that is okay -- movement and meditation -- that would be a different story -- seemed to me they were just exercising
@@emmib1388 Yes, it is the right choice to avoid it....if you belong to Jesus.
If you don't, it won't matter.
I do. It’s easier to travel anywhere! Best thing I ever did.
