We are a family of 6 living life in North Pole, Alaska! Where Santa Claus House is right down the street! We love spending time together as a family, having fun, learning through homeschooling, growing in our faith, and building our forever home! I absolutely loved this.I stayed in Togiak once and the people were so nice and welcoming.They may not have fancy homes and cars but they have so much more.They have each other.There was such a peace there,I didn't want to leave.
I’m a newer viewer and catching up. This video was one of my favorites so far. Thank you for interviewing the two gentlemen. I have visited Alaska many, many times but, despite talking with locals…never got close to finding out much about any single person. You gave both men a voice. Thank you for that!

Now that we have more sun day by day, the snow should be melting a tad. We sure have a lot of snow!! Enjoyed this Blog for sure. It's always interesting to talk to Native peoples about how they did things in the past and how they do things now. They are amazing people!!! Living here is a dream come true but sometimes it's hard for my poor husband as he has Dupuytren’s Contracture in his left hand and the tremors of Parkinson's in his left hand. He was an ice road trucker so this is not making him happy!! Hope you never have the problems of aging!!!! Love watching you get around easily, etc. You are both such good parents and North Pole is honored to have you here!!!!

What a great video. I am a father of 7 from western NY, and was just at a conference for 5 days. God bless my wife. Plus she kept working on the house as we are doing renovations. She is my angel. Gary and Patrick are awesome. More of our youth need to model after them then what they look up to today.

That was interesting learning about a part of the US that one NEVER thought about….Being from the lower 48, I NEVER REALLY thought of Alaska having villages!!!! Came over here from Gary Junior's fantastic channel "Enigmatic Gwich'in", after reading someone's comment there in his latest video referencing your very interesting vids on life in Venetie and a kindhearted reference to Gary's dad as well. I will never be able to journey to Alaska nor to the villages so you interviewing and sharing these videos teaches me how my fellow Americans are living up there and their culture. I love learning about different cultures. My favorite college class that I took after my divorve when I was 48 was World Music Culture--we not only learn of their music and instruments and art but we learned about their cultures snd their history from so many different countries around the world--I regret selling my book and cds
