Sweet story! I hope that tractor stays in the family for many generations!
My grandpa had one just like it. I learned to drive a tractor with it. Our neighbor had one like it also.
Good Work, good to see the relationship of the teacher student, the mutual respect they have.
Very nice tractor and beautiful restore job. Very similar to my '63 Ford 2000.
Beautiful Ford tractor, thank you for sharing your amazing video
Very pretty tractor always liked that model
What a great marriage!
Lol. Good I e exactly!!
One of my favorites
I would be lost without my 601 workmaster great tractor for bush hog work i also have the 901 bushhog that came on it when new.
My dad had on with a hydrolic loader & sickle mower , wood saw blade for 3 point was his go to tractor
Would have been glad to use one of these for lighter field work. Ford tractors have earned my respect.
Love the history as well as the story behind this tractor. I like anything Ford related even though I drive a Chevy and own a John Deere. Haha.
A beauty!!!
my dad had a 1960 601 workmaster, and it was red, look just like that 641
OUR NEIGHBOUR BOUGHT THE LAST ONE OUR LOCAL FORD DEALER HAD BEFORE CLOSING SURE SPENT MANY HAPPY HRS ON THAT OLD BABY THE TRACTOR IS STILL IN THERE FAMILY QUITE A TRACTOR IN THE DAY
I think that’s the most touching RUclips video I’ve ever seen from your wife painting the Ford script and you telling her that you are proud of her and kissing her to your shop student painting and of course polishing the right side and let’s not forget about your Father’ s involvement and your Sons involvement! May Our Lord Jesus Christ bless you and keep and may his face shine on you and be Gracious unto you and yours!
Couldn't have said it better. Thought the same thing
Yeah i agree...We need a lot more of that in this world!!
Amo esses tratores sinco um
I recently aquired a 1960 641 Workmaster from a nearby farm just in time, as it was headed for the scrap yard. It's rough, rusted and banged up, and the engine is stuck (although I saw them bush hogging with it only two years ago). It's a five speed model. Feels like a two stage clutch.
Not sure what I'm gonna do with it... maybe it will make a good companion for dad's 1956 640.
Nice tractor! I had a Ford 901 power master. Looked great and was rebuilt. But I could never get the carburetor to work right. Float issue. So I sold it.
Oh boy one for 'll the tractor lovers out there
Time to pull a float in the next town parade.
I was thinking the exact same thing watching the video before reading comments =]
Nice tractor. Which one was called the "blue belly". That's the one my Great Grandad had. Mom said it was a '57. Gray hood fenders and wheels
Blue drive train.
My grandpa bought a 641 new in 1958. It was also red but he had it painted at a voag school and they painted it blue. I know its a 641 but it a 601 seies. When it was new would the decal have said 601 or 641.
The farmer I worked for as a teenager purchased one just like this one brand new can't remember what year he brought it.
looking at a ford 661 workmaster, looks just about as good as this one. trouble is I need a tractor I can use and this thing is so pretty I don't think i'd want to get it dirty
I live in Ontario Canada. I have exactly the same tractor.. The color scheme is exactlyn the same.. Mine is a 1959 year but I don't have "Ford" embossed on the rear fenders..
Nice🚜👍
Just got a 58 650 workmaster
Good people, middle America
God bless
nice to see a ford, wish you told me original air date
Skimask well the auto body guy said he graduated in 1979 I think then in the end he said it was 20 years ago
I have a 600 series tractor and can’t figure out exactly what year it is but it is a work horse. It needs a little work. If you know someone near Virginia that likes to work on the old ones I’d love to contact them. I’m about to retire and will not have some time to work on it.
I just bought a 1959 641 Workmaster. It needs some work but runs okay.
Of course someone painted it blue. The red is showing through and would love to restore it. Body panels are falling apart but in pretty good shape.
I have 2 58 ford tractors both need restoring
My gramps had one
good
The nice thing about Tractors is they don't go fast enough to need Brakes or Blinkers!🙃
I have a 57 workmaster 641
Did this guy say that they are rare and he has ever only seen three of them? I guess he has never been on the internet.
I have one of these. Good tractor but something is wrong with the PTO.
I am not if I like history and story behind it or the tractor... Yes the blue Ford was a more later color then the gray or red. But... I like blue Fords myself.
The first 640 designs did not master the work.
Not a 641 not a 58
