Imagine having a budget of roughly 90-100 million dollars, and producing a show that is outdone by people that have basically no budget... but unwavering, pure and genuine love and care for a beloved franchise... Bungie would be proud.
This is a good fan film but please shut the fuck up, the writing here is not even close to the actual show regardless of what you think of the creative decisions.

I’m liking the direction of this story, my main critique would probably be that the voices of helmeted characters are quite similar and it’s hard to distinguish sometimes when you’re not used to who’s speaking, but I’m loving everything else so far. Great job guys👍🏻

Despite having basically no set besides whatever that ship set was, this is one of the best halo fanfilms I have ever seen. Good characters, good quality, and it isnt CRINGE

Really great work y'all 😁 Infinitely more compelling than the paramount series and the visuals looked pretty damn good. It's been awhile since I've watched something that came out recently while feeling invested the whole time and actually caring about the stakes and hoping the main characters don't getting killed. Love to see people with actual passion for Halo giving the lore the respect it deserves. I really hope your concept makes it big, 10/10 👍

Great job! One note. Earlier in the film she said she knows nothing about the planet and doesn’t want to go in, later In the film she said she’s been there for 2 years. You can tell it wasn’t 2 years later since the Spartans said they just got tasked to come out recently. I’d fix that. Also a grenade that close would 100% kill you so give it a tweak. Other than that, fantastic work! Keep it up.

miles better than what I thought it would be with 689 likes. The story was engaging and theres NO way this was made with 0 budget.

Looks great so far. Some tweaks I’d make mostly has to do with the props. The MA5B AR seems to be missing a flashlight and maybe the barrel is bent at 9:09, the Spartans and ODST would look cooler with more ammo bags and a backpack, at 4:39 a BR reticle on the Spartan hud would be nice too, the red Spartan having an undersuit to cover the neck would be nice aswell, and the MA37 AR at 11:46 also should have the barrel fully black instead of an orange tip. Oh and some CGI shield effects when the grenade goes off would be nice on the Spartans too

The MACB is actually an MA5C As seen in halo 3, but you are absolutely correct! The ar was not completed in time for the film unfortunately due to time constants and the flashlight is indeed missing.
I believe the barel was bent either in transport or at some point during filming 😅

Cool story. Just one thing, why are they constantly looking around in a circle? No military unit is wasting their time sweeping and empty forest unless they suspect an enemy presence.

The joke of "This is better than the Paramount Halo" may be getting old, but I'd say this is. Although the acting is a bit silly, with proper training you guys can pull of something great. And with the little budget, man... Paramount could actually learn a thing or 2 from you guys

These are great fan films but most of you are complaining about the Halo series because your dreams weren’t met! 😂😂😂😂 enjoy the content from different perspectives! Halo has gone far beyond what was ever expected yet so many of you just don’t want to enjoy it! Chumps.

What Halo gets wrong is the notion that there would still be government cover-ups and conspiracies in the future. There wouldn't be. Cover-ups won't exist anymore in the far future.

I’m glad that people are giving positive feedback to this thing, but I’m sorry I was bored to death. This looks like the definition of resources(costumes and some Action vfx assets which are not free) and not much talent, nothing really had me engaged. It’s very slow and feels longer than it is, it’s not shot very well, the characters aren’t all that interesting, it’s not visually interesting, the vfx are pretty bad and not even the action was exciting. I’m all for creating your passions but something you need to understand is you need to prove to your audience why they’re watching your project instead of an actual big budget movie, especially in the first few minutes cause it’s normally the difference between people staying to watch or just clicking on another video
