Oh no !!! I’m super sad you sold it. You’re videos massively helped me when i was looking to buy mine. I plan on keeping mine for life since electric cars will be the future. I need to have one crazy petrol powered car. Also i’ll have to think more practically as you did so want to have this paid down completely before that. Congratulations on your baby daughter! Spend all the time with her you can, she will be a Jr in college in a startlingly short time. Ask me how I know. I started watching your channel while I was searching for my F Type and I appreciated the videos. I will be installing a pully and tune when my factory warranty is up late this year as well as a Velocity AP Valvetronic exhaust. It is probably a good idea to change cars often, if you keep them too long you get attached. Again, ask me how I know. It wil be interestng to see what was better than the F Type, must be one hell of a car.

Not sure if anyone noticed but there was a ORB that flew in front of the camera. Thought it was a reflection but it changed directions. It was between 10 and 20 seconds of the Vlog.
Dang, at least you had fun with the R and made awesome content. Ive been debating so long about getting a vert f type but I think I made up my mind with the z51 vert c7 but in a manual. F type R doesn't offer a manual and neither does a vert m6 so c7 it is! Looking forward to your new ride!

Hey man good video. Sad to see your Ftype gone. I actually just got rid of mine as well. It will always be my favorite car and I in time may get it again but for now I had my reasons. One of the main reasons is like you I like to change cars all the time to and get something different.
I just picked up a brand new Mercedes Amg C43, fully loaded including the amg exhaust. Really love this car but nothing will ever take the place of the Ftype. Truly a gem of a car.

I just purchased a used 2020 F-type SVR that needs the brakes front and back replaced. Both are lipped and I can not remove the caliper off the rotors. Do you recommend a grinder on the rotors (yes I have new 380/376 rotors) or vice grips on a totally removed caliper on the rotors. I'm tackling it again this weekend since I picked up a grinder

I took it off because it allows the supercharger to be a little louder. I downloaded the Jaguar dealership manual

That’s a e30 touring I imported from the UK.
I can relate; bought the Z3 when it first came out and then our son was born. Hello Mercedes E320. My son is now 17 and he and I found it together and made it a father son trip down to Georgia to pick it up together. Great experience and one we will cherish. Almost two years later I still love my convertible F Type R and my son has probably driven it as much as I have. They grow fast and memories are better than stuff always. Gail

Hate to see it gone but totally understandable given the circumstances, relied on your videos when I was buying my R last year. Btw it seems we're in (or going into) the same career field. Believe me when I say that the grass is greener on the other side haha!

Alfa Romeo Giulia QF - I hear what sounds like a 6. Definitely hear a turbo... four doors for family and still a fun fun car... I’m a little unsure because it sounded like a manual which they don’t make. So, backup guess is an M3 manual. And a third guess... I hear sort of a chubaka burble that’s characteristic of a 5 cylinder..: so RS3 for good measure!

I understand the two seater dilemma. I sold a GTO convertible to buy a mini van when I couldn’t fit enough car seats in the back. What was I thinking? Great memories! I think I hear a Nissan GT-R. I’m guessing your next adventure will include all if it’s computer controlled goodies.
GTO to minivan would be tough, the things we do for family! No it’s a gtr, I had ones of those back in the day. It wasn’t really for me

Congrats on your daughter! It's truly the best experience becoming a father. I had to give up my 2-seater back in 2019 for the same reason, and while I miss it, it just wouldn't make sense anymore being a party of 3. I since picked up a C63 and am thoroughly enjoying the performance and practicality of it (minus fuel economy, but something's gotta give). Best of luck with the next car!

Sport for the transmission and dynamic suspension is probably what I would do. Tires will the limiting factor

Brother. I got 2 kids aNd due to your very thoughtful and thorough advice Went ahead and Purchased a 2015 Ftype R (RWD).
Wife says the same thing.. we can’t use it. Not a family/weekend car.
What that means Connor is that it’s time to get HER a new car. Not you. You get to KEEP the Ftype.
With that said.. go return whatever you bought (UNLESS ITS ANOTHER F TYPE!). And get back that Precious Modded Tuned 650 HP 550 to the WHEEL.. Back in Your garage. That way my hope of racing you will be alive! ;)

100% yes.
I was stock the with a passenger. Plus I gave him the jump on that pull and I was in 4th gear instead of 3rd. We raced again when I was in 3rd gear and it was a lot closer.
@@skrrtgarage3922 Awesome, thanks for the reply. I’m definitely getting that pully/tune for my V8S. I’ve experienced the same thing with the F-Type being in a higher gear. If I’m in 4th and my buddies take off with their C7 Z06’s they pull on me pretty hard. If I’m in 3rd they struggle to pull away. Obviously this is dependent on how fast we’re starting from but that 8 speed really helps offset the power disadvantage, especially me being 150 hp down. Thing is, I just really don’t like sitting in 3rd with the engine spinning like mad before we take off, 4th seems ideal but it’s crazy how the car pulls if you give it a little more rpm to start from. Anyway, thanks for the content.
