Before there was the rave scene, before there was house, trance, subground, happy hardcore, acid house, hardstyle, and all of today's beautiful electronic music, there was this music. The roots of our dance music today started with music like this.
Robert Calvert from Hawkwind plays on this album Space Disco rules If you drop "Lighthouse" in while your flipping over the vinyl it makes for a hell of a space trip
Wow, this track is mind-blowing! Thanks for uploading! Also, I believe this track was composed using instruments by the Electronic Dream Plant, including the Wasp synthesizer.
Very "avant garde", I didn't even know there was such a genre, it sounds like your typical electro progressive house music, yet that appeared almost a decade later
My dream to produce music like this. With sound design, music theories and arrangements. If you have tips to help me pls do. I appreciate, try my best to make nice music
I would say recreate not reheat a style of music, if that makes any sense. Then again, I don't have any experience with producing music. However, if you really think about it, all of today's dance music, no matter what genre it is, and so long as it has the 4/4 kicks, is really a derivative of disco.
This was written by my husband, Anthony Richard and friend Adrian Wagner. Wow, that was a lifetime ago!
I remember this from a cassette that came with Electronics & Music Maker magazine.
found some great stuff from both composers, thanks for dropping the names!
My condolences to the loss of your friend, Adrian. I was going to say more until I found out he passed away. I am very sorry for your loss.
Awesome thanks !

Ojalá me equivoque.

Synth driven Disco. Electro does not use octave bass and 4/4 beat. Nothing House
which use TR 808 909 which came years later
Love it!
Still banger
