I think the compartment under your bed is called a trundle. you can usually put a mattress on top of it if someone needs to sleep there too.

Girl that's what I used to use it for. I had a mattress there and my cousin would sleep there when she came over. The employee at the store said that's what it was used for. I guess that's why it doesn't have sections for clothes.

Did the apartment come unfurnished? I've never known a college apartment to come unfurnished. You did a nice job with your room. My mind just goes to, "what is she going to do with all that stuff after". I just moved countries so what to do with stuff was my biggest struggle, and I pretty much left everything behind.
