I have an MY20 HSE with lots of extras. Agree with earlier comment; this is a car that is just fun to drive and a premium experience in every way. In particular love safety and auto speed limit (no speeding tickets), HUD, air ionisation filter and seat cooling (oz hot summers/bushfire smoke), matrix headlights.And amazing sound system. MY21 even better but super happy. Also charges from large home solar so costs nothing to run. What's not to like? Your comments on Telsa are right on; and quality finish and much better driver ergonomics
I am in NYC. I owned a Model X in another country before moving in, and I bought a second hand 2019 I Pace first edition at $72k post tax last year. Seriously thought of another Model X but I decided on I Pace since MX is simply too long to park inside the tight NYC parking spots. I Pace's 4.6M length allows me to park much easier. Never regretted buying it, it was so fun to drive comparing to MX, it drives like it is on a rail on sharp turns of NYC highway intersections. I Pace is really a jaguar small and nimble and fast to respond. MX drives like a beefed up supercharged GLS instead. The Meridian surround sound system is on par with MX premium sound upgrade. This car is a major head turner too! I see drivers stopped my by the light saying my car is smoking and commented it looks like a space ship. I bring the car to garage for safety inspection and they say are you a millionaire? People come by to my car and looked around for minutes.... I never have such head turning with my MX Interior is so good as the video did, wheelbase same as E Class The only thing I want to complain is the glitchy and slow responding infotainment. also the short battery range, ended up in multiple charging visits on my trip to maine and had to virtually turn off everything to squeeze every single mile to reach the charger. The driving assistance is unreliable comparing with MX with frequent unexpected deactivation. But I Pace is the best jag. period Comparison with MX, I pace and Taycan: I Pace: head turning, fun driving machine that is not too expensive. Need to compromise on tech and battery. Taycan: head turning again and fund driving but price is insane. Tech is good but battery is dismal. MX: No head turning at all sorry...... Not THAT fun to drive but is okay I think, very practical, too big for NYC and some EU / UK cities with tight parking spots. Best tech and battery. Build quality is simply SHxT

You will unlock the car with the button on the handle when you are public charging. If you use the key it will stop the charging where as just pressing the door button will unlock and allow charging to continue!
Grille does function as an air scoop to throw air over the roof to keep the rear screen dry and clean, and I reckon it reduces fly swats on the windscreen
I recently test drove one and loved it., one of the best cars on the market (ev or not) as far as I’m concerned. Would love a taycan as well but that’s 30k more atleast.

We got our ipace last week and it's so good. Very surprised going from petrol to electric. The ipace is massive loads of room. Loads of features and it is super quick. Very happy.
