Great video pal! I like your review I agree that these have to be more comfortable than joycons, but I have a feeling there would be some flex on the Switch rails in handheld mode. I like the concept of those unibody Switch grips, like the Nitro Deck, and Dobe makes one too. This is just something I see, but those unibody grips would cradle the Switch as opposed to put a slight strain on the rails. Im not looking to be a sass, but that’s something that I myself would lean more towards
Thanks. Yeah that's a great point, those unibody products may be a better option for someone playing in 1 mode, I guess these give you more versatility in how you use them
Yeah, if they improved the build quality it would be epic. But I guess it keeps them cheap, but they could at least fix the rail system like you said. I'm only recently hearing about the full units you can slide the Switch into, they seem pretty cool especially on the go
@@batpixelI have been using them for a few months. They are as wobbly when plugged on the Switch or the middle piece support as the original joycons, which is minimal and unnoticeable. These controllers are really great, very confortables, the sticks are pretty sensitive and have some resistance, L and R keys are clicky but not loud, the feeling with all the buttons is great except for the d-pad, which requires more force to press than I would like, specially for rhythm games.
the d-pad is horrible, when pressed it makes a satisfying click sound, but it doesn't register sometimes. like for some games, you need to hold to walk, but the character will stop once in a while because the d-pad doesn't register. everything else about the controller was great
I never had that issue but that is unfortunate yours is like that, could you get a refund? I really like Doyoky's version, my friend and I enjoyed it more, I reviewed it as well
my only problem with it is that it practically refuses to pair the left joycon when both are attached to the switch. OFF the console, it works. ON it, it won't pair. what did I do wrong?
Mine have been flawless for that. You could try using your original joycons again so they are paired. Then attach these again kind of like a 'reset' It's also possible your left one has a flaw in it. Check the connections on both your Switch and the controller to see if there is any dirt or gunk on that side
I have the same problem and also made a video on my channel about it, it caught Nyxi's attention and they will send me a new Left Joy-pad. Try contacting them.

Thank you for the thorough review. May have to check it out. Cool lights too
Which light color would you choose?

Great product
Way better option than the joycons
Can the D-Pad controller work as a separate controller like the other one for multiplayer?
Yep they can pair the same as joy-cons for multiplayer
@@batpixel Thank you.

I’ll be returning mine
What happened with yours?
Why?
Why
Does it fit while the switch is docked?
Yep 👌
Does it have an NFC touch point?
No.
Hi. Are these connected by Bluetooth?
Yep 👌
Thank you. I did find the answer on their website actually, but great review video!
@mrobb90 appreciate it 🦇
If you have short fingers, this is no good for you😅 The joystick sits a bit high.
Thanks for sharing 😄

@@batpixel i figured it out. Turns out i have to hold it when it's connected to the console a certain way. A bit weird but at least it works
@darkhawkthebad yeah the connection shouldn't be loose like that. Hopefully they could replace it if they know about defects
@P90XBowler thanks for letting us know 👌 definitely seems like a defect which is unfortunate
tried and works with switch sports game?
Yes
Can it be used for PC?
No just for Switch
It can, but just like the normal joycons it is kinda clunky
It can use on Android phones?
These are made for Nintendo Switch only. There may be softwares out there to manipulate it, but it's not designed for it
What mario game is that???
Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Ryder Key
Emmanuel Mountains
