Generate a Building with a Prompt, Text-to-BIM, OpenAI + Hypar

In this video, Andrew Heumann demonstrates how to generate an entire BIM model of an architecture project with a single line of text. This technique uses the GPT model from OpenAI and feeds it to the building generation algorithms created by Hypar.

Wow imagine where this will be in 5--7 years. Hopefully won't take our jobs, but take care of boring repetitive stuff. Some people will have to look for new things to do i think.

The stupid thing about all of this is instead of using architects and designers you're just ending up with with coders because ultimately AI functions and prompts don't work without the coding and the requirement for coding will always be boundless and infinite so what is the point? Just to limit opportunity and future prospects for us, people that have spent our careers to learn this industry only to open the doors for coders and tech geeks? NO THANKS

Almost. Instead we'll get architect "coders" (or is it "architect" coders?) that can do both. Or you'll get developers that hand a Hypar model to you and tell you to "make this". I don't want to think about that last one though.
